Deshaun Watson trade down to 2 teams - Falcons & Saints
H2o replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't care where Watson goes really. AFC, NFC, the next massage parlor, wherever. The guy doesn't scare me or make me feel nervous about our team's chances in any way if he stays in our Conference. He's still going to be suspended for a chunk of the season. Look at Ben Ro. Look at Zeke. I'd say it will likely be no less than 8 games. Then he still has the Civil side of things to deal with where his deposition is going to be huge as far as his career goes. Personally, I think the guy is a slimeball and will get what he has coming to him in one shape or form. I wouldn't want him walking behind an elephant scooping up s*** at a circus, more or less as the starting QB of my football team. -
I'd like to have hope that Ford could be something, but I'm not going forget what I've seen from him on the field. I doubt he is ever anything more than a backup OL'man in this league.

Buffalo Bills are reportedly interested in DE Chandler Jones
H2o replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm starting to get that same feeling I did when we were "interested" in JJ Watt, like Chandler is using us in hopes of driving up his $$$ tag -
Zay Jones to Jags for 3 years up to $30M with $24M base

This is yesterday's news my friend. We've already laughed about it. -
And made some nice $$$

Does anyone know if a 99 Ford Taurus has been spotted at the airport? -
In other words, Dallas has been screwing people over for years and it was never caught before.

Levi Wallace gone to the Steelers on 2-year deal
H2o replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was Levi serviceable? Sure. Was he anything special? No. I wouldn't have been mad at giving him $4M for another year, but I'm not mad he's gone either. He was not what some of you have built him up in your minds to be. I remember him constantly getting beat on 3rd downs to give up a 1st. I remember him being slowish and not being able to keep up with WR's on their crossing routes. Wish him well, but no big loss imo. -
This was my thought. Tom called in a favor and he holds something over Kraft, blackmail material most likely. Kraft in turn agrees to the trade.

Considering Christian Kirk, a nobody in comparison to Adams really, just got a contract that could earn him $21M per season? Definitely a good move....... As I say this cringing and thinking about Diggs.

An often injured RB who has been ridden like a Brokeback mule since his college days at Stanford, and carries one of the highest price tags at the position, was our Plan A? Not buying it either.

Who ISN'T surprised by good ole Jerruh being accused of some shiesty activity?
-
Definitely faster than Singletary
-
Yeah, not really thinking 3rd string. More of like a James White role with a few spot carries and primary 3rd down RB.
-
McKinnon has a much more lengthy injury history. I'm good with this signing. Another weapon for Josh and a change-of-pace RB.

Bills FO: "Did someone say Special Teams?!?!?"
-
It can't hurt to bring Jack in for a look. He also wouldn't count against the comp pick formula because he was released.

They must confident in Caleb Farley's overall health.

Yeah. Easy pass on Shenault unless it's a 6th/7th Round flier type of situation. No way in hell do I send anything before that for him.
-
Wasn't a fan of Shenault either, especially around draft time like some on here were. Easy pass for me, unless it's for a 6th or a 7th. Sure as hell am not giving up a 3rd for him.
-
Not necessarily. The Browns could pawn him off somewhere else like Seattle, Indy, New Orleans, or Carolina. That means Ward and now Mathieu are now gone from that defense. The effects of how they've navigated the Cap will begin to catch up with them. Not to mention how tough that division has gotten over the last week.
