  1. Nor is he the second highest paid... http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/rankings/contract-value/left-tackle/
  2. Nope. Albright's just another guy. He has no special insight or access--other than his willingness to be used by agents who want to plant stories helpful to their clients... http://www.frontofficesports.org/interviews/8/2/the-pursuit-of-knowledge-and-scoops-cbs-sports-benjamin-allbright
  3. The OP should be banned simply for posting Walter Football links reposting Mile High Sports and other 'kids in Mom's basement' sites. My dog has more NFL insight than those jamokes....
  4. Scoring 30 points and passing for three TDs is a pretty good night by Smith. That loss wasn't on him. Fans should be banned from keyboards for two hours after any loss...
  5. Nah. He's just channeling Bluto Blutarsky talking about the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor...
  6. Hey. Don't step on the party line...
  7. Big whoop. Marshawn MARCH's to the beat of his own drummer. Too bad more people around here didn't...
  8. Are you kidding!! The Washington Post is one of the 3-4 best newspapers in the country. It's a real coup for her to get a gig there so early in her career. Like winning the lottery for a young journalism major. No way. I work for the 20th largest firm in my industry. There's no way we'd look down on someone who got an offer 3 months after they joined us from a top-3 firm with more pay (its Washington, so that's a given) and more opportunity. Any good employer knows that you can't get a rep for holding down talent and still expect to attract anyone good to work for you. The same thing with teams and their desirability with FAs.
  9. I was perfectly fine with Shady's performance the past two years, thank you...
  10. The more effective route would be to boycott Leroi...
  11. I suspect Warren B. isn't losing any sleep about missing your subscription payment...
  12. Nah. Maybe stagnating with all the 50-plus Guild-protected folks. But you can't blame a young person like Kimberley for going to a major global paper like the Washington Post. Good for her!
  13. More frequent use of the 'ignore' feature by many people would be a good option as well. A lot of TSW trolls here would dry up and blow away if they didn't get the attention they desire. That said, the size of that 'manage ignore prefs' list needs to be significantly increased as well. I'm constantly forced to weed out old names to add in new ones as I'm maxed out at 16 pages...
  14. Huh? Too good / promising / underpaid for Buffalo is more like it. All we've got to rely on are the lame, the halt and the blind. I hope Josh B. can recruit some promising millennials to liven up that staff. Good luck at the Wapo, Ms. Martin.
  15. No need. All the doofuses are Marchers...
  16. Didn't you see the post indicating 50% of the linked articles on TBD today are free?
  17. March 1-2-3-4, March 1-2-3-4...
  18. Well said. As Spock said, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few--or the one....(what a nerdy thing to say)
  19. Fug'n Dennison. The references to him "Rex-ing up the offense" are spot on IMO. A good coach should adapt his scheme to the personnel and not try to pound his square peg into a round hole. Is Miller a great Guard? No. But he's good at what he does and the Bills should take advantage of that (as well as Incognito's strength in pulling and man-on-man blocking). Vlad the Impailed has great movement skills--the problem is, he's always moving in the opposite direction of the DL he's trying to block, resulting in way too many 'O le' plays....
  20. No. TSW is a large community--and the fact that some posters can't access TBN links should not restrict others who can from having that opportunity...
  21. Man, you should get banned for life simply for typing that. Even DC Tom might be at a loss for words at how stupid that comment (and you, it's author) are...
  22. Interesting that the column appears to have mysteriously disappeared from TBN website. It's still out there in the Interweb but you have to search for it by the title. Too bad that wasn't the only way to access Sully's 'work product'...
  23. It's a Sully piece. Of course it's click bait...
  24. But just think of the extra 14-16 hours a day you'd have by not posting on a team-related MB...
