  1. LOL. That's the same guy who tried to hug Belichick...
  2. Saw that in real time. Just shrugged and said 'give it to em....'
  3. I said that as well a few days ago. All the media stuff canonizing him (like that promo commercial) seems to be leading to something like that...
  4. Why JAX stopped throwing RB ant TE outs on fist down mystifies me. Running inside for one yard over and over in the second half put too much pressure on Bortles to be a downfield thrower. Now is that Hackett being Hackett or and adjustment by Belichick? I dont't know, but that JAX defense was on the field way too much in the second half, in contrast to the first. Oh well. The commercials better be entertaining this year...
  5. Jax running game lost it for them. Damn Hackett....
  6. Yep. He's out of scripted plays and is back to being himself...
  7. The inability to get the inside running game going will be the Jags downfall. They can't keep getting into 2nd and 3rd and long situations...
  8. Still want to see the replay on the delay of game that started it all....
  9. NE is picking up the pace which is effective....
  10. Well, here come the refs... Curious the wouldn't show a replay of the clock on that delay of game
  11. Or a guy who accounted for 31% of the team's total offense (1586 rushing and receiving yards out of a total of 5,103)...
  12. I agree. Forcing the QB pick gets you JP Losman and EJ Manual. I'd rather have two stout additions at other positions and a vet FA QB than that scenario...
  13. I'd be on board with Smith as the transition guy for a drafted Franchise QB. He'd be a good mentor, would be a good upgrade on TT and could sail off into the sunset in two years when he'll be 35. I'd go as high as a 2nd but ideally a 3rd round pick. While his 2-5 playoff record stands out, his overall numbers are pretty good (14 TDs, 2 INTs, 97.4 rating) Alex Smith Playoffs Passing Year Age Tm Pos G GS QBrec Cmp Att Cmp% Yds TD TD% Int Int% Lng Y/A AY/A Y/C Y/G Rate Sk Yds NY/A ANY/A Sk% 4QC GWD Career 7 7 2-5 156 253 61.7 1745 14 5.5 2 0.8 79 6.9 7.6 11.2 249.3 97.4 18 102 6.06 6.76 6.6 1 1 4 yrs KAN 5 5 1-4 120 185 64.9 1250 9 4.9 2 1.1 79 6.8 7.2 10.4 250.0 96.0 11 49 6.13 6.59 5.6 1 yr SFO 2 2 1-1 36 68 52.9 495 5 7.4 0 0.0 73 7.3 8.8 13.8 247.5 101.0 7 53 5.89 7.23 9.3 1 1 2011 27 SFO QB 2 2 1-1 36 68 52.9 495 5 7.4 0 0.0 73 7.3 8.8 13.8 247.5 101.0 7 53 5.89 7.23 9.3 1 1 2013* 29 KAN QB 1 1 0-1 30 46 65.2 378 4 8.7 0 0.0 79 8.2 10.0 12.6 378.0 119.7 2 15 7.56 9.23 4.2 2015 31 KAN QB 2 2 1-1 46 72 63.9 436 2 2.8 1 1.4 48 6.1 6.0 9.5 218.0 84.0 4 20 5.47 5.41 5.3 2016* 32 KAN QB 1 1 0-1 20 34 58.8 172 1 2.9 1 2.9 24 5.1 4.3 8.6 172.0 69.7 1 6 4.74 4.03 2.9 2017 33 KAN QB 1 1 0-1 24 33 72.7 264 2 6.1 0 0.0 45 8.0 9.2 11.0 264.0 116.2 4 8 6.92 8.00 10.8
  14. Did you look at the stats I posted?? here they are again: Alabama's red zone scoring percentage: 2016: 89.2% (58 of 65) TDs: 40 FGs: 18 http://www.cfbstats.com/2016/team/8/redzone/offense/split.html 2017: 85.3% (58 of 68) TDs: 46 FGs: 12 http://www.cfbstats.com/2017/team/8/redzone/offense/split.htm So, six more TDs but a 4% decrease in efficiency is a big worry? Perhaps you should Google 'obtuse'...
