Case Keenum is a heck of a player b ut seems to be a system QB. Very inconsistent throughout the year.

Forget the numbers the guy as a little raw but is the best QB in college. Forget the sprwad BS that every one of these QBs from big time programs run. Clausen is the only other QB in a pro style offense and doesn't have the arm Mallett does. Clausen also has a hell of a lot better supporting cast. Mallett has 1 WR who may play at the next level. And the Russell comment is just retarded.

I don't know how many of you watched the LSU game last night but Mallett was unbelievable, made all f the throws and then some. He is pretty statuesque in the pocket but the kid has a cannon and plays in an actual pro style offense. With a little footwork and the right QB coach this guy will be a star. Reminds me of Carson Palmer before he came out. If he declares and is there when we pick its a no=brainer. Watch this kids stock fly before the draft.

That's a great comparison. The problem is the media constantly harping on how bad the owner, city, front office etc. is. Once we get a real HC to buy into the city and the fabric of the team we can be prominent once again. I could care less what Sims, Marino, and whom ever else wants to take pot shots at this great town. Their upset because they aren't offered anything besides sitting at a news desk spewing their opinion that 90% of the world doesn't care about. Smart coaches know what a tough place this is to play in and what a great fan base still resides here even though we have been putrid for years. A real coach will welcome the opportunity to build a winner. And that is what we need.

We need someone with offensive creativity. I would keep Fewell if he decided to take the DC job, he is very under rated and has done a good job with what the FO has given him. The injuries, terrible drafts and over all LOFT of this team has come to a head. Its a shame we wasted the 09 season but at least we can move in another direction now. A guy like Shannahan would be ideal for the simple fact that his background is offense and knows what it takes to score points. If for the simple fact the he will make everyone accountable and actually earn their pay check.

Rivers = Marino, quick almost sidearm release. Will never win the big one cause the running game sucks or the WRs suck, either or. Aaron Rodgers reminds me the most of Kelly. Tough guy, throws into tight spots even after he gets picked off for the same throw. Rodgers will be a great one when its all said and done.

My guy is great, not your typical either. Was an absolute terror when I 1st got him. He was 1 and not trained in the least. The POS that had him used to hit him and I had to break him from that. He looks mean as ever but is a big bear. Knock on wood we have had no health or hip problems. Big baby.

The play calling was atrocious, the OL isn't worth mentioning and the pass rush is an absolute joke. Schobel may be the only bright spot but even he is dim at times. Kelsay, Denney and Maybin should be ashamed to pick up their pay checks. This team has a losing culture, not much else to say about it.

You should get hazard pay for having to watch this franchise.
