I'm thrilled the Falcons lost today:
1 - A couple years ago the Bills had a trade in place for Tony Gonzalez. He vetoed it because he wanted to go to a "contender"
2 - It was incredibly arrogant of the Falcon's GM to trade 5 draft picks to get Julio Jones. This signified they believed they were "1 pick away" from the championship.
3 - I'm sick of hearing how great the Falcons and "Matty Ice" are, when they've done nothing. Who do they think they are, the Jets?
Correction: I'm not totally 100% convinced the NFL if fixed, I just have a sneaking suspicion. Wouldn't be surprised if it came out one day. Too many "Darlings of the NFL" always seem to conveniently squeak out victories at the last minute when faced with playoff elimination each year (see Jets).
Oh yeah. I'm convinced the NFL is fixed, (since the PIT v SEA Superbowl), and not just by a few random officiating mistakes.
Consider the Bills v Cowboys game. The only 2 storylines coming into the game for the Bills were David Nelson's girlfriend and the Cowboys stadium being built on Freddy's house. The Bills lost 44-7 but Freddy got his 100 yds and Nelson scored the only TD of the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if Fitz isn't more banged up from the Redskins game than us fans are led to believe. This might account for the off day against the Jets.
If you have Time Warner you can get old episodes on demand. When your TV is tuned to any major network, just hit your select button and a pop-up with an on-demand option will appear. You'll then be able to browse all networks' shows.
Wow - game of the century
Great game from Stevie, Freddie, Spiller, Dareus, Fitzy and Searcy (with the int at the end)
In general, our dbs need to to step up.
Even before this latest snafu, it seemed that Fairley's stock had been dropping. It's funny how things have changed since hist last game a few months ago.
I sometimes wonder whether a team having a good TE is a sign they have all the other holes plugged and can afford the "luxury" of getting a good TE. In this case having a good TE would be an effect, rather than the cause of success.
