Actually, he won't make a lick of difference unless we get a offensive playbook that utilizes our playmakers efficiently. Here's looking to you Mr. Offensive Co-ordinator and Head Coach.
-
Your intelligence is truly showing with every post you place. I didn't know "175" was so close to "3" (and for the record I had over thousands of posts but lost them during the "Hamdan Crash of 08"). And how I am the troll? You're the one making the rounds on this board with the Moronic Moral Crusade of Justice Against Marshawn Lynch Tour. Frankly, myself and many here are sick of your pathetic rants passed off as "thoughful commentary". I have every right to say you've worn out your welcome because, judging by others around here, its a FACT. Oh and I checked in at elementary school, they told me the Golden Rule is "innocent until proven guilty". Even six-year olds have learned to grasp that concept.
-
You really have no clue or concept do you? No one is questioning the incident (car hits woman, leaves scene), what those of us with a MODICUM of intelligence are thinking is that we want to hear all the facts of who was involved, what the circumstances of the incident were, etc. before we pass judgement. It's not our fault you pulpit screamers are too f___ing stupid to figure that out by yourselves. Instead, you label us as immoral, Marshawn-lovers when all we want is the facts!!! Why are you still posting, you said you were leaving over a dozen posts ago?!? You've long worn out your welcome here. Go cheer for the Chargers where all of their players are squeaky-clean church goers.

The Canadian Government is on the Buffalo's Side?

They tried to re-enact that bill too when the World League of American Football (later NFL Europe) put a team a Montreal (the Machine I recall...) -
The Canadian Government is on the Buffalo's Side?
Heels20X6 replied to Heels20X6's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure I gather what you're saying in your first point. Can you please clarify? I'm just stating that this would take away a relocation option (Toronto) away from the Bills moving team. I can only think of two instances where American businesses were prevented from coming into Canada and that was in the case of satellite companies. Canada was able to get that passed due to our airtime regulation laws. The last high-profile case was trying to prevent Walmart (years ago) from crossing the border but judging by the 10 I have in a five mile radius that one didn't pass... -
The Canadian Government is on the Buffalo's Side?
Heels20X6 replied to Heels20X6's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A) just connecting point A to C thru B. Buffalo doesn't want the Bills to leave, the Canadian Government doesn't want the Bills to relocate to Toronto, therefore, Canadian government helping to keep Bills in Buffalo...it's a stretch but everyone else is grandstanding in their topic postings re: Hardy and Lynch so I figure I could use one too. B) I meant in the sense, you'd be hard-pressed to find the entire senate agree to keep a lucrative economy booster like the NFL out of Canada to protect its league. No-compete laws rarely get passed. -
How is it as "star-f#cking attitude" to let the facts come to light before passing judgement?!? Most of the posters rushing to Marshawn's defence aren't doing so because they love Marshawn and he's innocent because he's a Bill, but because the whole f___ing lot of you won't let the story play itself out before providing your useless "holier-than-thou" criticisms...most of us want to hear the facts before we decide if he's a "ghetto punk", a "spineless thug", or any of the other stupid insults we've seen hurled his way...

Fixed it for you, Apus...

I can't wait for the logic that questions Hardy's character when he's in a bank as it's getting robbed... "Hardy has character issues because by being in a bank being robbed, he's somehow implicated in this!" I can't see how any of you can tie his previous incident to being in a car (possibly) involved in a hit-and-run. Short of driving the car or putting one of his gats to Marshawn's head and telling him to leave the girl on the side of the road, this incident does nothing to Hardy's character. Unless you think it's wrong for a young person to go out on the weekend and party til 3:30 am....

Well said Ricojes....no one knows exactly what they'd do in a situation like this because no one has the identical same set of circumstances to deal with. If your career, your livelihood, your personal life were all on the line would you INSTANTLY make the right, moral decision in that split second you have to make it? Anyone who says "yes" is fooling themselves. Again, not making assumptions, but if it is proven that Marshawn did drive the car and strike a pedestrian, then he deserves the negative criticism and punishment that will come his way. Until then, lets all get of our f___ing pedestals and let justice run its course.

Facts are not required in the court of public opinion....

http://www.cbc.ca/sports/football/story/20...#socialcomments A senator from British Columbia has introduced a bill hoping to prevent the National Football League from expanding north of the border. Interesting if anything foolish to think a government could pass a bill preventing a sports league from setting shop....

Assumption again. The article doesn't mention Marshawn flaunting the bottle around nor does it say anything about him just walking thru the front door waving it around. If we're assuming, why can't we assume he snuck it in his shoe and got caught when they saw him pouring it under the table into his Pepsi? We don't even know what the liquor was either. What if it was Crystal or a 80 year old scotch he wanted to celebrate with? Assumptions can go both ways.
-
We don't blame him really. He had a tough upbringing too, parents split when he was an infant and he grew up dirt poor. We shrug it off because he may be cheap but he's still a nice guy and we respect that he made himself something instead of playing the "my life was sh-- and it's everyone's fault but mine so I'm excused to be a failure" card.

Sounds like the DA has nothing on Lynch
Heels20X6 replied to VOR's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry mate, didn't see the LINK in there and I thought you were commenting on this incident. The article itself is bs, nothing more than an attempt to discredit Marshawn's credibility via his cheapness on not paying for drinks and cops ASSUMING he has a cavalier attitude about traffic violations. I have a cavalier attitude about traffic violations too. I think speeding limits at certain times of day are stupid. Does that make me a felon or a person of moral corruption? -
Ahhh....yes..but those are physical items that have value. Marshawn sneaking in booze reminds me of a friend of mine who's a millionaire. Buys himself all the fancy toys he can, the nicest car, home, etc. But you know how he got rich, by being the cheapest SOB when it came to spending money on things like eating out, buying a round, buying a birthday present for friends, never taking vacations, never chipping in for things etc. His attitude was that why waste money on things you can get much cheaper (like booze and food) or get no "return" on when you can use it to buy nice things for yourself
-
Responsible reporting at its finest... It's pretty obvious in the court of public opinion, this article is trying to get you to find Marshawn guilty with no charge. 1) He gets traffic tickets -> he's a reckless driver (even though there is no mention of what the fines and tickets were for i.e. speeding? parking in a no-parking zone, no left turn signal?) 2) He brings his own liquor to bars and gets tossed out for it -> he's cheap and a troublemaker 3) The "source" and his/her comment about his "cavalier" attitude -> paints him as so non-chalant about criminal activity like traffic violations that OF COURSE you could see him hitting someone and driving away from the scene... And you wonder why people hate the media.
-
Mamma said to save every penny! Free booze is still cheaper than any booze in the NYC area! I laughed at this too. I consider this a holdover from his upbringing. Remember that he did grow up dirt poor and money is new to him. Maybe he's the kind of person that squirrels away all he can for fear he might lose it all again.

Heels20X6 replied to VOR's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What exactly are you basing this assumption on? The fact that he is following his lawyers' advice and not talking to the media or the police? Or do you hang out with him on a daily basis and he's been bragging about how easily he's getting away with a felony? How do you know what state of mind Marshawn has about his "untouchability"? The number of assumptions and accusations made on both sides of this case are completely baseless and fruitless. Why? Because none of us have any more proof than what the media (and the police thru the media) has told us. For those of you who wish to have Marshawn drawn and quartered, can we at least wait til he is CHARGED WITH A CRIME to do so? Normally I would ask that you wait til he be found guilty or all the evidence comes out but I think that's asking too much of many of you. -

I thought you were the one who was leaving? Why are you still here? How do you find the time to write when the street corner needs you to man the soap box telling us "the end is near"? -
If one of the titles is "award for most number of players judged by popular opinion and the media as criminals by a holier-than-thou fanbase" then yes, Buffalo could be considered Titletown....

Bills public address announcer arrested
Heels20X6 replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reading this report the only thing that pops into my head is "don't these cops have any 'real crime' to fight?". It just seems like a bunch of sour puss keystone cops that heard wind of a party and decided to break it up. No complaints from the neighbors, no LEGITIMATE (I know in Canada that if supervised, underage drinking is permitted to some degree) criminal activity. It doesn't seem like these teens were bothering anyone in a controlled environment but the cops decided to be buzz kills anyway.... I think back to my grad (I was 17) and the SCHOOL provided a rented ball room at a hotel that we could drink in and celebrate our graduation in overnight. Of course the drinking age here is 18, but the law is the law right? I don't recall police officers busting down the door and charging my principal with corruption of a minor...
