  1. I think Peters has some leverage. He will get paid if not now sometime in 2008. The Bills need him. I am sure Brandon and Jauron want to get past the 6-10;7-9 seasons and go to the next level. They don't want to groom a young QB who is running for his life. Hopefully, this is a Walter Jones type deal where he eventually comes in before they go live.
  2. Drew had some good years but not likely that he goes to Canton. There is a long enough waiting list for the HOF that they easily can pass on whoever retired in the correct year.
  3. Andre was top 2 or 3 in his era. Moulds was good not top 5; dropped too many catchable balls. Evans has not seen middle of the field too much but may emerge, he is certainly the most explosive of the 3.
  4. I am no Pats fan but this seems ridiculous. Bruschi is obviously a leader on that team on the field and is shown interacting on the sidelines with teammates to the point of nausea for the viewers.
  5. Jeremiah's and Distillary are excellant.
  6. Losing SB on "wide right". Exciting finish, completely deflating. We blew away Raiders in AFC Championship. Expectations so high..................thud. Cowboys game last year was a sleepless night. Homerun throwback was an outrage. NE loss years ago with terrible referees was bad. But Tampa Super Bowl tops all.
  7. Nothing really walking distance. Pittsford Plaza area is about a mile away and has a variety of choices from unique like Wegman's to chains like Applebee's or Cheesecake Factory. Pittsford Pub nearby is good as well. East Rochester in other direction has Northside Inn (great Italian food) and Timothy Patrick's
  8. Like the Warner comparison. He gets the ball out quick like Warner.
  9. Good for Cook. I think the voters reacted to the one sided cheerleading for Archuleta.
  10. Starters: LT Jason Peters LG Derrick Dockery C Melvin Fowler RG Brad Butler RT Langston Walker Peters has great feet for a big man, is great at keeping the rusher in front of him and staying with him on edge riding rushers past the pocket. Also drives his man off the ball in the run game, and agile enough to get to the lb's and cb's. Dockery seems to have a lot of standoffs at the line of scrimmage especially on short yardage plays. Doesn't get beat but doesn't move his man either. I think problem is teams overloaded his side knowing the Bills were runnning that way. Did well pass blocking. Fowler gets blown up a lot in short yardage situations. Jacksonville game was ugly. He does pull on sweeps. Butler improved a lot over the season. Huge man Got beat a lot to the inside early on resulting in whiffs or holding penalties. Walker was a good pass blocker. Team did not run his way often. Whittle will be swing guy filling in. Preston is terrible. Matt Murphy must have some ability to be kept around after postion change. Group was improved in 2007 and may benefit from improved and more innovative play calling.
  11. Dr. Sack Mitch Ferotte Justin Armour Marvcus Patton We had a decent PSU LB before Conlon can't remember his name.
  12. I doubt we use a fullback in most formations so I doubt we need a lot of fullbacks. We might just carry one true fullback. I agree with Pyrate, I expect a lot of HBack sets.
  13. I like Chris Leak but no way as a second stringer. Camp arm maybe. As for the guard "deemed to start" but passed over by three guys? Whittle is our valued swingman. No way on anyone who slashes someone with a broken beer bottle. I do like Steve Johnson and would not be shocked if he makes the final 53.
  14. Keys are for Stroud to stay healthy and McCargo to progress. No more Kyle Williams and Jason Jefferson trying to pass rush. I think one os the reasons we drafted so many corners is due to the lousy run support we got out of that position. Youbouty cannot tackle and likely is gone.
  15. Wallace Gilberry to Giants Simone Castile to Cinci
  16. Erin Henderson - Vikings Taj Smith - Packers
  17. LB Xavier Abidi DT Red Bryant LB Erin Henderson OG John Greco - can play center DE Jeremy Thompson Others I like on Day 2 Drew Radovich -USC G Son of a coach LB Geno Hayes - could be special teamer CB - Chevis Jackson SS- Tom Zbikowski SS - Craig Steltz
  18. Fightclub nailed it. The only way they give up that many picks is if something else is in the works by trading back. We wouldn't want to be completely out of the second round. Shockey is twice as good as anyone we could draft. I would take him in a heartbeat.
  19. Point taken. Really shows good hands and athletic ability to adjust to the throw which is needed regardless of who is covering.
  20. Chevis Jackson of LSU would be a nice pickup in the third.
  21. Kelly looks like a pro on film. Maybe in the second?
  22. Extremely unlikely that this happens Call me crazy but if Buffalo does select Devin Thomas, dont be shocked if Buffalo makes a move to jump back into the first and grab that big body WR such as Limas Sweed or James Hardy..... I would take Sweed, Kelly or Hardy, all big bodied receivers.
  23. I might add Keith Rivers looks like a star as well. Cason from AZ and Merling from Clemson look good too. So many possibilities.
  24. Ellis of USC looks like the best player on the board in those clips. Malcolm Kelly looks pretty impressive, I like that he is running in the middle of the field rather than the typical clips where the college star runs by inferior talent on the long ball. Sweed and Hardy look great too. Two guys who look really good are Geno Hayes of FSU and Groves of Auburn. We may not be looking for LB's but those two both look like difference makers. Cottom of Tenn looked more athletic than I was expecting for a huge guy.
