  1. No. Not at all. Three games is not enough. He gets a full season. What, do you want to fire him now?
  2. Actually, in this case I'm a glass 1/3 full, not 2/3 empty kind of guy. A positive post isn't as easy to write as a negative one, so give me a break here. So on to the positives: 1. Mularkey did the right thing in starting Evans. He had a real nice game, especially for a rookie. Evans is good. 2. Travis ran well for most of the game behind solid blocking. Mike williams did a fine job - and I can't imagine I just said that! 3. Drew threw the ball well for most of the game. Every QB makes mistakes, and although he had a few he had some nice plays as well. 4. Playcalling was very good - way better than Gilbride's. Obviously, it was pretty smart to utilize the run to diminish the blitz. 5. Special teams were excellent. I haven't seen that in years! It was awesome to see a team kick the ball AWAY from our returner. Respect, baby. Overall the team played like one under a new coach and a new scheme. Some flashes of brillaince that I was happy with. We all knew we wouldn't win this game. I saw some good things throughout the game that I didn't see last year at all.
  3. No doubt about it. A guy came in unblocked. Poor playcall, poor execution, no bocking.
  4. I really don't think you know what you're talking about. Have you actually heard songs like "Cemetery Gates" or "Paint a Vulgar Picture"? How about "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others", "Ask", or "Girlfriend in a Coma"? Hardly depressing, angst-ridden or boring. Actually, some of those songs are friggin' hilarious, and they are meant to be. And anyone who calls the Smiths talentless might not know a well-crafted song if it hit them in the nose. My guess is you probably haven't heard too much of the Smiths.
  5. Oh man, I'm totally jealous! I've been a Morrisey/Smiths fan since the 80s and I was Music Director at our college radio station. People who haven't heard of the Smiths are missing some great music.
  6. I agree, but what about those horrible decisions and inaccurate passes?
  7. It's a great move. Basically you've got a bunch of idiots in the press trolling for bad quotes so they can write a nasty story. They'll bother the players until they get one. The job of the press is to be objective in it's reporting. Currently, some aren't doing that. Some are editorializing and creating a situation that could be unhealthy for the team. It also allows the team members to concentrate on football without worrying about what they'll say to the press.
  8. Hilarious! I saw a good one yesterday: "Somewhere in Texas a village is missing it's idiot."
  9. Man, that o-line is a joke! One of the worst I've seen.
  10. I now am convinced that Drew is really not capable of being a firestarter on offense any more. He just can't do it.
  11. I'm a bledsoe supporter, but he's been poor today. The sacks weren't really his fault, but he's the only one that makes those bad passes.
  12. Are you kidding? I love Travis. He's my favorite bill. I'm just calling it as I see it. He should have caught the ball.
  13. Nice try. Don't put words in my mouth. Unless I'm mistaken, Henry had both hands on that ball. A pro needs to catch that ball. Again, don't put words in my mouth.
  14. Sorry, man. As bad as some of drew's throws have been today, Travis needs to catch that ball.
  15. We're lucky to only be down by what we are.
  16. Our defense doesn't look too good, as well.
  17. And you know what? Drew ran it really well. the thing that bothers me about everyone being very critical of the game is that you KNOW that mularkey is a guy that will use plays in one game to set up plays in antoher. Look at his plans in pittsburgh. For example, the play where Drew faked to Traves but threw to McGahee. I guarantee he's got about 15 different variations of that particular play, and we're going to see many of them before the season ends. That's the kind of stuff that wins games, folks. I thought the playcalling on Sunday was great. Lots of people B word about the passes on 4rd and short, but I just about busted a nut when they ran a draw on 3rd and short and gained about 10 yards. Perspective, folks. Perspective.
  18. No, I actually meant '67. Buddy of mine had it in college.

  20. this is one of the most stupid suggestions I've ever read.
  21. I know someone who has had a saturn since 1991 with very few problems. Does saturn make the Ion, or is it made for them?
  22. Whatever. Now where is that ignore button?
  23. Maybe where the sun don't shine?
  24. Lindell has proven to be of little worth. A good kicker needs to be almost automatic from up to 45 yards. 42 yards should be done without a glimmer of doubt.
