    If they start awarding PK every time an attacking player's foot gets barely stepped on, while inside the area, then they'll be giving them out basically every time an attacking player is in the area. (Based on my experience as a Forward, anyway)

    Well, we were happy that Japan escaped with a 2-1 win over a bigger, faster Cameroon squad yesterday. I say "escaped" because it easily could have been 4-2 the other way. Oh well, the victory puts them through to the next round, so all is good. Except I'm bummed Kozue Ando is done for this WC with a broken leg. She's my favorite player on Nadeshiko Japan. :-(

    Yeah, Nadeshiko Japan is who we root for in my family. I'm headed there (Japan) tomorrow, so it should be fun to watch with everybody.

    I remember I got to ride one of Man o'War 's grandson's when I was a kid. Biggest, scariest horse I ever rode. I was utterly terrified. Can't imagine what it must have been like to have been aboard the O.G.

    Missed what happened to Coli? Always liked his takes. The hard part is not the escape itself; it's figuring a plan to survive long-term on the outside with no money, no identity, friends being surveilled, etc., all while being hunted down by the resources of the state.
