  1. This is absolutely right on. Not enough to overturn at all. And again, if it were Wayne or Welker, do you really think it even would have been reviewed? (I'm no conspiracy theorist; see my earlier post in this thread.)
  2. Everyone's in such a hurry to add to the thread, and no one mentioned the third post. This post is correct.
  3. Just addressing your last sentence, since we're bound to disagree on the rest, yes, Marino did have a good career in Miami. Unless you define "good career" by the fact that he could not once get by our Buffalo Bills when it mattered, that pastel-wearing, ref-whining, beeeyotch. But other than that, yeah, he wasn't bad.
  4. Ok. If Kelly and Ferguson aren't good enough counter-examples, how about Messrs. Favre, McMahon, or E. Manning? All from warm-weather schools and backgrounds, and all Super Bowl winners in cold-weather cities. And then there are the cold-weather background guys who couldn't get anywhere in warm weather pro cities, like Marino, Blackledge, Griese, Pennington, Steve Pelleur, whatever, it's countless. Your construct doesn't hold up, but I'm betting it was well-intentioned. You don't seem like a dick. Problem isn't that certain QBs are from warmer climes; problem is that they aren't good QBs. I miss Cleve Park, BTW.
  5. YES! Thank God Kelly and Fergie went to winter-weather college programs.
  6. There wasn't; the Bills got jobbed and overcame it. Happened all the time in our favor, about 18 years ago.
  7. There are a ton of WRs that get that call every week; it was a catch, no question. Tell me that Welker or Wayne would have had that one called back. No. Glad to not have to B word about it affecting the outcome.
  8. Someone starts this thread at least once a month. Stop it.
  9. The Oklahoma City area gets a lot of Vikings games, too (Peterson), but I don't think that team is moving. It's definitely the USC alum connection.
  10. Massacre? It was 6-3. If that's a massacre, I'd hate to see what a regular win looks like. (I've seen massacres. There was this AFC championship game against the Raiders once, and there was this Super Bowl against the Cowboys once....)
  11. Another one blaming the fans, or at least suggesting that the fans are to blame. The first one didn't live in Buffalo. Do you? Maybe; if you do, please disregard at least some of what I wrote below. Regardless, it's not our fault, and those of us who are here keep the team alive for those of you who aren't. Enjoy the nicer weather you moved to; enjoy the economy that you defected to rather than staying and trying to rebuild one here. But don't you dare blame those of us who stayed, or who moved back home, for loving our city and our teams. We're trying harder than you are.
  12. 1. I believe that you had, or heard, the conversation that you relate. 2. There is no such thing as a "prominent ... DWI attorney." 3. The Brinkworths are not prominent developers and have not been for a long time, but certainly they are connected. 4. City of Industry, California has had the stadium plan for quite a while now. The article you posted mentions six teams that the city plans to talk to. (No word from the teams as to whether they want to talk to the city.) 5. Wilson has said that he will not sell the team, and he's said that directly. I know, businesspeople are not always to be believed, but this isn't quadruple hearsay. Hey, I hope this gets investigated, too, and if it's true, I hope we learn about it sooner rather than later. But I suspect that the DWI attorney probably was not correctly informed.
  13. Best of the comments on that page: "You know what I find comical?? Jauron had a rating of 90+ last year after the 4-0 start Buffalo got off to. Same guy, coaching the same way.. That's why the ESPN SportsNation ratings mean nothing."
  14. You're trolling now. Started out good-natured, but now, you're being a Jauron.
  15. At least show it. And you're still wrong!
  16. No. There's NHL, college ball, baseball, NFL, soccer, cricket, bocce, golf, cooking, Scrabble, poker, WNBA, and NBA, all on TV. And probably in that order, more interesting than UFL.
  17. There's actually video on this .
  18. Yeah, he's content just stealing paychecks.
  19. Since before the season began, actually, and yeah, it's funny. But they've ruined a good song forever, for me!
  20. I'm sorry--I knew about the pink wristbands, etc., but is he wearing NAILPOLISH? Check out his right thumb and forefinger.
  21. It certainly is not the fault of the fans. Let me guess--"parts unknown" is not in WNY, right?
  22. You're right. Well, except for the 60, but you're right.
  23. Did I blame him for the loss? Just pointing out that he wasn't exactly missed in weeks 1-3. Frankly, if the Bills can get something for him, they should.
