When I delivered pizza I was fairly indifferent about the whole thing but one guy really knew how to push my buttons. He would call 10-15 minutes before we closed. He lived on the very outskirts of our delivery zone, so it was a 40+ minute delivery. The best part, he would give you exact change for the order. Like counting out pennies in my hand and ****. I would usually back out half way down his lawn in 4 wheel drive tearing up as much as I could. Looking back, I think the guy was special needs and I probably should have been a little more tolerant. Yep and I tip 25-30% most times. If the service is great I may go as high as 50%. Get me drunk and you've got a great set of cans, I'll just hand you my wallet.

I know all about the service industry and who makes what. In the one or two times a year I get take out, the places I go its either a 16 year old who I watch take the items from the kitchen and put them in a bag (usually at very leisurely pace) or its the manager or owner who's making 6 figures and would scoff at me for even thinking about it.

Most of the places I've gotten take out have a cashier or hostess who handles take out orders. They make min wage +.
