  1. After reading the thread over on the other side of the board, I didn't even realize that it's been pretty much nothing but rock lately. That's fine by me.
  2. That's one I'll never forget. And to think some people at the apartment where I was watching that one wanted to switch to some skimpy longerie halftime show instead. Thank god I won out on that decision. I enjoyed last night's halftime show quite a bit. Of course, I was in a pretty loud bar, so the music was most of what I could hear.
  3. I was just glad to see something other than some lame hip hop show during halftime. This was one of the rare times I didn't change stations.
  4. They were playing the Bills. Any injuries were only going to happen on one side of the ball.
  5. I'm sure CBS demanded that they play Who Are You. How did the guitar survive the performance though?
  6. And there are plenty of stories out there of players who were forced to play through it. Ted Johnson in New England comes to mind immediately. So yes, there are problems on both sides.
  7. Trust me, it's just about as unreadable right now as the Bills side of this board. I'm sure you can guess who is the guilty party in that.
  8. That's the first thing that came to mind for me. Did anything ever happen with that blatant ripoff?
  9. You do realize that the played out fax machine jokes have nothing to do with Briere and Drury, right? Or have things just gotten so clouded in the average Sabres fan's mind that the joke applies to everything?
  10. Last year looked that way too...
  11. If the Connolly line continues to click and the Roy-Vanek combo wakes up (Vanek is showing signs recently), they will be in a nice spot. They'll add something near the deadline, but who knows what that will be.
  12. So how long until Russian mobster with a heart turns on his father? Either that or they're just messing with us and he'll become the true villain of the day.
  13. There's supposed to be a biker group nationwide that chases them off like that. What really surprises me is that no one has taken Phelps out yet. Would anyone other than his lunatic family even care?
  14. Yeah, I probably should have worded that as "I HOPE THAT someday people will learn to ignore this 'church'."
  15. They know exactly what they're doing. They want attention and they continue to get it. You constantly see people mentioning this stuff, or radio shows inviting them on just so the host can make fun of them. This is exactly what they want. In the long run, I'm sure brings money to their church. Even out of the thousands who insult them, if just one listens, the WBC gets what they want. Someday people will learn to just ignore this "church" instead. That is the only way they will ever go away.
  16. What if it's a triangle?
  17. They really need haircuts... except Duvall.
  18. Is 3 months enough time for a body to decompose down to the bones? For some reason I would've thought it would take longer than that.
  19. Do the dictionary attacks use the common misspellings of words too? If not, I'm sure there are millions of idiots around this country who have accidentally come up with a hard to hack password.
  20. Or simplify that a bit and just roll one of the characters in the password.
  21. Provide gastric relief? They may have left out one stage in that process.
  22. They hated him out here even when New England was beating them every season. I never really understood being jealous of a QB who has won LESS than Brady, but I always assumed that character-wise, Manning is everything that they wish Tom Brady was.
  23. They couldn't get Neil Young to sing it instead? Anyway, I wonder if the contract prevents him from appearing on Letterman as a guest. You know Dave would be all over that.
  24. The show was good and I loved Conan's little commentary before he brought out Ferrell. But my god, listening to Will Ferrell sing was painful.
  25. He was essentially a human missle in that hit. The timing of when he left his feet should not matter. Whether it was before or after contact was made, there is clearly an upward motion in that hit. There is only one intention when you take that direction in a hit, to go after the opposing player's head. At least one league has finally started to go after head hunting. I always thought it was going to take a death for the NHL to do the same, but there actually seems a bit of chatter about this there too. Oh, and since it always bugs me, I have to throw two corrections out there for this thread. It's KASSIAN, not Kassain. And Dante, it's Tyler Ennis.
