So, if the Vikes finish in the top 1/3 of the league the Pats* get a pick around 86 and if Seattle finishes in the bottom 1/3 the Bills get a pick around 105. I guess there is only saved money in the world of "Ralph is cheap." It's not like he has any cost associated with owning the Bills that may have increased or even small expenses like replacing these players on the roster, cost of a first round running back. Just think how much security costs at the Ralph keeping all the inmates safe.

Good point.. and he may have been released because he does your team no good as number 3 and all he is to the rest of the team is a visual reminder of failure. He did not have a win at all cost mentality and that can infect a team and I would argue has infected some on the team. I have fired employees because while they were adequate employees, they were poison in the cafeteria. That does not mean they didn't lip service the right answers it means their presence was a distraction.

I agree the players put a lot on the line, but because we live in this great country nobody put a gun to their head and said you must play football. They know the trade off for the big payday. No different than I could have chosen to go to trade school instead of college. I could also decide I am not happy with my contract, I can walk or demand more from my employer, but they can replace me with another employee and they have every right to continue to sell their product. Or if I was in a union and the union decided to strike my employer would be able to bring in new workers to continue to make widgets. The owners own the league no different than GE owns light bulbs. The NFL already "shares" more revenue with employees than most corporations.

I agree with sven's point and I also agree the missing trait is confidence. I also think Chan made the switch for another reason. If you listen to the post game presser with Chan toward the end a reporter stated something like " the video showed a lot of players sitting on the bench in shock, how do you combat that?" (paraphrase) Then when Chan made the announcement he said he did it for a "spark." I think Chan is affraid this could go south quickly from an attitude perspective.

Sad part is this is a simple overload blitz.he has seen that since high school..he has 2 options move the back before the snapto the opposite side or roll right after he snap...while reading pre-snap is not easy in this case Miami showed it and delivered it. A little later in the game ( I think it was the Bills second possesion) Miami ran a similiar blitz, but Trent was aware and moved slightly right and completed a short pass to Nelson. He should be able to identify this 100% of the time.

Same here. The good news is for years I would use the Sox to entertain me until September(when the Sox would fade) then the Bills season started and this year feels like the old Sox (injuries killed them this year) maybe it will be the old Bills!

I have had them here 4 times 3 great 1 not so great, but the last 2 were super and the last guy went on the roof to replace the dish, it was not working for high def, he also did 3 other things for me and the next day the supervisor came out and checked up on him.

I have been with DirecTv for 10 years and their service is outstanding. Because I have been with them so long I get a lot of free items; game lounge, free movies, added channels and excellent customer service. Just last weekend they turned me off completely, I am not sure what happened, but I woke up and it said to call Directv to purchase a package on my TV. I called and in less than 10 minutes they rebuilt my old package, apologized for the error and then put a supervisor on the line who took $80.00 off my NFL ticket, gave me 3 months free and upgraded me to the everything package for 12 months free. That is customer service and truly understanding the importance of customer loyalty. Just a note, I grade all customer service toughly because I started as a customer service rep 20 years ago and I am now a VP of Customer Service Operations, so I do know great service when it happens which is not a frequent occurance.

Sorry to hear about the children, keep up the prayers. I agree, I think praying for victory is a little trivial, but I do pray for all Bills players to stay healthy and play at their very best. (I should extend those prayers to our opponent, but I figure let their fans worry about that!)

I agree preseason means nothing, except for the 3rd game, which is a dress rehearsal. Still not using real bullets, but eams like to do well in this game. I watched all 4 teams in the AFC East play this weekend and unless the Jets, Pats* and Phins are hiding talent, they are limited in talent. That doesn't mean a good gameplan or poor execution can't impact a game, but we seem to be closing the gap. My humble opinion is the 3 other teams in our division are overrated.

I watched both the Jets and Dolphins this weekend and I can not see a big difference between Sanchez, Henne or any of our QBs. The difference has been coaching and talent surrounding each guy and that gap is closing. But the media continues to sell we do not have an NFL caliber QB on the roster, if that is true then neither do the Jets or Dolphins.

Great point.... and another thing is everyone is assuming going on 4th down means getting the first down..let's try this on..Chan knew he had 3 OL starters not in and is just as happy having a team think he doesn't have the marbles vs. confirming they couldn't get the inches..some times it is better to run from a fight that does not matter, especially when the other guy has a bigger knife..I bet later in preseason when he feels more confident he goes on a fourth down, but hopefully not on his own 37 yard line!
