  1. Yeah, the off field stuff sped it along and made it an easier decision, but he was falling off a cliff last year and unlikely to recover. Before all the off field stuff there was already talk about how he was a "technique" kicker, but that specific technique can only last so long and once it goes it's gone. I'd say it was a 50/50 split on the cause.
  2. Same. Although I've been to some cold winter games where I greatly appreciated having people on both sides of me to absorb some wind.
  3. My personal preference is lower bowl, Bills side, in the corner on the tunnel side of the field, and about 30 rows up. In current Highmark, that would be like Sections 129-126, row 25-35, aisle seat... chefs kiss.
  4. The best way to complement your MVP QB and make his job easier is to field a Defense that can get more stops on 3rd down and get off the field. Even getting Josh the best WRs in the game would still put it on him to have to make plays and out-score the opponent who is scoring on every possession.
  5. Goes great with my scarlet "A" so now my shirt just says "HA!"
  6. It's both. We've had some subpar performances by individual players that have killed us. And we've had some big misses by the coaches which have killed us. Unfortunately, only one can change/improve. So we've drafted a bunch of new players.
  7. No salary cap, very little free agency, and no $50M price tag on QBs back then. If Trubisky has to play extended time then we take the Bengal approach and end up with a top 10 pick to finally get Josh that top weapon we're all clamoring for.
  8. Love the offseason. Great inspiration, OP. GO BILLS!
  9. Haha, good on Jeremy. I usually like the morning show, but I also understood why Beane put them in their place.
  10. Wouldnt this be "Mt Rush-Less" if we're talking about big DTs?
  11. As someone else already pointed out, tough for Jeremy (and you) to downplay their WR obsession when there is literally a 'WR-Only Draft Board" right behind Jeremy in every clip. These dudes have been crusading for a WR for months. It's pretty much their main topic on every show. To act like they didnt make it a big deal, and Beane is overreacting over nothing, is just disingenuous.
  12. @gonzo1105 @GunnerBill Just noticed Beane talks about tipping picks at 5:10 in the posted vid
  13. Maybe. In 2023 for sure. Not in 13 seconds tho, and outside of Benford we were pretty healthy in the 2024 AFC Champ.
  14. It's even deeper than that. They traded away Tunsil, got a bunch of picks, made GOOD picks over a couple of years... and then let them ALL walk in order to pay Tua, Hill, Waddle, and Ramsey. DT Christian Wilkins (Raiders for $110 million) G Robert Hunt (Panthers for $100 million) CB Xavien Howard (free agent, cut) LB Jerome Baker (free agent, cut) LB Andrew Van Ginkel (Vikings for $20 million) S Brandon Jones (Broncos for $20 million) DE Emmanuel Ogbah (free Agent, cut) DT Raekwon Davis (Colts for $14 million)
  15. And 30 yr old Jalen Ramsey lmaoooooooooo
  16. Maybe Mahomes always outperforms Josh because he's playing against the weaker defense in the game.
  17. I like to see this just because it reminds me of all the classic Dolphins roster blunders of the past 3 years.
  18. Absolutely. Everyone pays for it one way or another. I aint judging. Good for Bill.
  19. Interesting they didnt include him.
  20. Interesting points they just made on the J&J show. Out of ALL the positions that Beane has neglected in the draft over his tenure, WR isnt the top. It is actually DT. Before this draft Beane had spent exactly TWO picks on DT (Oliver and Carter), and the position has been an issue for us for the last 8 years, going back to Star and then the rotating door of scrap heap FAs we bring in. Good to see both sides are working towards understanding each other.
  21. So... lot of chatter about WHY she doesnt want to talk about how they met, with the prevailing theory being they were linked through a "service". Most likely a companion/sugar baby service, not necessarily a hooker service (although thats where that leads, right?). But those services are very popular in places like Miami, NYC, etc. Makes sense because I never bought that "we sat next to each other on a plane and fell in love" story.
  22. TSW Mock 1.0 - We picked a CB, DT, Safety first 3 picks/rounds TSW Mock 2.0 - We picked a DT, another DT, and then traded out of our last pick in rd 2 TSW Mock 3.0 - We traded up in the 1st round for... DT So not much support for the WR Train or Jeremy/Joe's view point from the board either. Probably because most of us knew the same thing Beane knew. It wasnt a good draft for WRs even if we wanted one. WGR's "Pick a WR, any WR" isnt a good way to build a team or draft.
  23. Ehh, I've seen the media rally around their own before.
  24. It was a very light accusation, hence the quotes. But bro, check the front page. Our guy has multiple threads and polls going. But I was genuinely respecting his post because I generally like @Pete even if I'm disagreeing with him or sick of his WR posts. Just like I'll put air quotes around you "white knighting" for Pete. And yeah, I'll call fans out for getting all hot and bothered and hating on our own players and staff over practically nothing.
