I've been considering a tattoo that goes across the top of my back. A recreation of The Last Supper, but instead of Jesus and the disciples, it would be Josh and 12 of our top players. And under it in gothic lettering would say "Marv 3:16 - Where would thou rather be, than right here, right now" If we won the Super Bowl, I'd have to get serious. Something like this that I just threw together...

What did you think of that golf clap by Kelce?
DrDawkinstein replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
And by doing so, he's made himself millions upon millions more dollars than he would have had. Not bad work if you can get it. 🤷♂️ -
I think, like most things, there are far less people actually offended and it's more the media outlets trying to drum up stories for clicks. No one cares.

How many times have you watched Josh's run?
DrDawkinstein replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Easily 30. Maybe 50. Watched the game replay on NFLN last night and even my wife came out at the end to watch the run and we rewound and rewatched that play like 10 more times. -

This is all the needs to be said about all this off-field stuff, and personality stuff. I see some members of Bills Mafia getting in their feelings about a little clapping and I cant help but think how they'd meltdown if they were present for Bryan Cox coming out of the tunnel with his Two-Bird salute... -
December 15th at Detroit is the Game of the Year
DrDawkinstein replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
This might be the "Game of the Year" on paper, but we'll see how it plays out on the field. We already have the Division and a playoff spot all but officially locked up, and may see us clinch the AFC East before we even step on the field again against San Francisco. I'm sure the team wants to win, but depending what the battle for the #1 seed looks like by then, it may not be a must-win game. Given the turf condition in Detroit and its propensity for season ending ACL blow outs, I'm just as fine taking it easy in this game and proceeding with caution. Plus, I feel like whenever there is a Super Bowl rematch of teams that played earlier in the season it always flips and whoever won in the regular season loses the Super Bowl. -
Ravens revisited will be the Lions in a few weeks. We'll see if the Bills figured out we cant play like cupcakes against physical teams, or if it's the same ol same ol.

Ok man, good luck with caring so much about that.

It's still only 1 minute out of the entire 3 hours+ you are sitting in front of the tv. Build a bridge and get over it.

They're hard to fill if he wants to get suckered into overpaying for the top guys, but that's not how he operates. It will be the same mid-tier talent/signings that Beane does every Free Agency to fill whatever major holes we have. Guys that are smaller dollar but ok "worst case snecarios" if he cant get anything in the draft. We've done it at DE, CB, and WR before, he'll do it again. And he almost always finds someone in the draft as well.

Complete change in the National Media re Allen
DrDawkinstein replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He and Greeny for sure. The fact he got Damien Woody to flip is the real story there. -
Beane will do what he always does and get a reasonable solution for all the needs in FA before the draft. So expect all those needs you listed to be addressed. But then we'll still take DE, CB, WR, OT in the draft. That's his MO. Fill all the holes and then let the draft come to you at positions of need.

To his credit, Rex originally made that quote on NFL Countdown before Sunday's game was even played. So he was Bill-ieving in Allen before today. -
"I cant bear to watch this anymore!"

Too many folks (in this thread included) have a bad case of Travis/Taylor Derangement Syndrome. Jason Kelce had "such a bad experience" last year that... he's only been repping Bills Mafia ever since. This entire quote that the "story" is based off of sounds like something from a hanger-on that is just trying to get their name in the news as someone important or close to Taylor Swift. And then a bunch of Bills fans clinging to it like they're proud we were so mean to them. Plus, no one has bad experiences in Buffalo. Not like a Jets or Dolphins or Rams game where you might actually get stabbed in the parking lot. Our shenanigans are cheeky and fun. Their shenanigans are cruel and tragic. Which makes them not shenanigans at all really. Evil shenanigans.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread
DrDawkinstein replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
THIS is what everyone is getting worked up about? They keep using the "this was your super bowl" line. Meanwhile, Josh and Shakir and McD all acted like we barely won a preseason game. -
Ehh, not to nitpick because I think he did a great job otherwise but 1. wasting a potentially valuable challenge on 2. a defensive time out... is a double whammy in my book. Anyways, I'll take the win and enjoy the Bye week. Go Bills
-
He all but agreed when Damien Woody stepped in and called Josh the best QB in the league.
-
Whoever it was we hired to sit in the booth and tell McD when to challenge needs to be fired this morning.

This is how I saw it too. I might say he was a little gassed, but it looked like a smart play of cutting off Mahomes running lanes. If he runs hard and dives at Mahomes, maybe Mahomes slips out and runs for a big gain, or maybe we even get a horrible Roughing call since it's Mahomes. I noticed it in real time, but didnt have a problem with it.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread

I've already praised McD and the coaching staff for yesterday's performance, but this isnt all true. He's struggled mightily against good AND bad QBs. Especially looking at last season as DC when we got beat by the likes of Trevor Lawrence, and even guys like Easton Stick had their best day against us. Zach WIlson beat us a couple of times while on the Jets. He lost to Mac Jones too. A struggling Broncos Russell Wilson has his best day against us last year. When McD was DC we did too much "bend but (hopefully) dont break" and rely on Josh to be better than the other team. That said, great win yesterday, and great job by the coaches. They've been on a roll and hopefully are figuring it out just at the right time. What are you watching because ESPN has been slobbering Josh for almost 12 hours straight? And Greeny is about to get on GetUp! and do the same.
