It's against CBA rules to negotiate a contract until 3 seasons have been completed. We legally cannot re-sign him until this season is over.

Ralph wouldnt have used the consulting firm that lead the Pegulas to McD. Looking at his multi-decade track record with coaches, it's safe to say it wouldn't have happened. I also don't think Ralph had the mindset to identify a culture-changer like McD. Ralph wanted the org managed the way he liked it. He had zero part in building that dynasty other than finally finding a GM who could put it together. And then ran that same HoF GM out of town because he insulted Ralph's daughter who shouldnt have been working as a scout in the first place. Look, it doesnt bring me any joy to bash Ralph. That's not what I'm trying to do. But let's be honest and objective: he was not a great owner if you are looking for on-field results.

The Slide (Stefon Diggs): smart move?
DrDawkinstein replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's much like another juke move. Disrupts timing of running at a constant speed and makes defenders hesitate for a moment. It isnt to show off. It's an actual move. Very common in Rugby. -

I sure hope so, brother. Too many in the NG and DHS had no problems assaulting protestors already. That was just a dress rehearsal. -

That is absolute best case scenario, which I dont think we'll see. The recent changes in leadership in Defense and Intelligence paint a much scarier and dire picture of how far he'll be willing to go to stay in office. He is prepping to use the US military against our own citizens. -
On that note, and not to defend ESPN, but the PRICE of highlights is astronomical compared to when they were starting out and in the glory years. The NFL launched its own network and wants to drive viewership to it. Therefore, they charge ESPN millions of dollars for just the few highlights they get, and keep most of the deep highlights for themselves. It's to the point that if you re-watch a show like PtI on streaming, they cut any/all of the highlights from the stream because it costs so much to show them.

Good call, they do a good job on Monday Night Football. And College Football is the best thing they have left (Gameday still strong, for now). I dont mind them putting stuff behind ESPN+ since I get it included with Disney+, haha. But there isnt a ton of stuff much better there. The Details series is ok. 30 for 30 produced some amazing documentaries, but the last few havent been up to par.

Ignoring the controversies over content and politics. It's a garbage station as far as production quality goes. You can tell they already laid off everyone who knows how to make a TV show run and function and have a bunch of amateurs behind the scenes. NFL Live is unwatchable. Rocko and Dino on 1990s Public Access had better production quality. Whenever I do turn it on, it's all: the wrong highlights being played that dont match what the announcer is talking about. like, not even the right GAME. graphics being wrong or out of order cutting to the wrong person who is supposed to talk next mics not being turned on etc, etc ESPN is done. It died when they took out Mike & Mike (imo). The only thing I turn it on for anymore is Pardon the Interruption, sometimes.

Holy crap Daboll interview

What are your thoughts on the difference between the overall gameplans for KC vs Seattle? KC seemed like classic conservative McD. Let them run to kill the clock, keep it close, hope we pull it out in the end. Seattle seemed like they may have learned their lesson against KC and said "Eff it, let's see THEM keep up with US". Hoping McD learned to be aggressive against good teams. Or is that wishful thinking? Maybe Josh's shoulder injury played into the KC gameplan? -

No, once we get dumb enough, we convert and then brag on the internet about how we were shown the light and became brainwashed Repubs. -
