  1. No duh. But when you have a secret you are worried about getting out, and think that secret could change how others think of you in the hyper-masculine setting of the NFL... THAT can affect your attitude. That's why I said I wonder if he was acting like a jerk because he was overcompensating for a secret, or if he is just normally a jackass.
  2. As long as they can control your thermostat remotely, you'll be just fine down there. Secondary thought: Can they use those thermostats to mine crypto?
  3. Interesting. He always came off as kinda an over-aggressive jackass thinking back the the Cleveland Browns Hard Knocks. Although, there is no way of telling whether that was due to him overcompensating for his secret... or if he is just a jackass regardless. It's not like Ryan Nassib was Mr Personality or well-liked either.
  4. More so just to save them the reps and fatigue, I'd think.
  5. You can think that. I get my info from someone who works at the Project Management company which has overseen stadium builds in Atlanta, DC, and Seattle, and who was personally in the preliminary meetings up in Buffalo which Byron Brown and other city reps were also part of. The city is just another layer. State, County, City. All need to be on-board. State and County get theirs no matter which site they choose. Might be easier at the OP site since most of that is county-owned land. But the downtown site has plenty of parts under the city's jurisdiction. I know for a fact there were things the city reps brought up which threw a monkey wrench into the process very early on. Wouldn't be surprised if that was still occurring.
  6. This is why the Pegulas waited until the team was winning to start all of this. "Threatening" that the team will have to move works far better when we're a perennial playoff contender than in year 20 of a drought. Heck, some of us may have welcomed the break from the team had this occurred in the 2010s!
  7. Nothing is decided yet. Not even close. IMO, this is all negotiating through the media with the city. "We'll just stay in OP, AND move the team away for a year or two. Unless we can get a deal done downtown..."
  8. You're both right. Josh's recent injury, Tre White basically "opting out" for the week, and the uncertainty of the weeks scheduling threw us off our game. Meanwhile, all the backlash helped steel the Titans that week and they showed up ready and PO'ed, and knocked us around. Not to mention a gameplan that had Josh throw his first pass of the game to.. *checks notes*... Andre Roberts (which lead to a pop-up interception). There were multiple factors that played into us getting handed our worst butt-whooping of the season at the hands of the Nashville Plague Rats.
  9. That's not the kids' room tho. It's an extra/guest room for sleepovers when they have their friends over, or family kids come to visit. These are the real kids' rooms
  10. This sounds more to me like a tactic for negotiating with the city on the new downtown stadium. At least I hope it is. Let the city know you are fine with staying in OP. And whip up some angry fans with the idea the team might have to play away from the city for a year (or TWO), because "well, we couldnt get a deal done downtown, so we have to move while we re-do the stadium in OP". If they really are serious about an OP stadium, its a big mistake imo.
  11. He is. It's more obvious than ever now, and it was never really hidden before. It was more just "sweetly stupid" when he was putting out garbage music with lyrics that any 7th grader would be ashamed of, or being the annoying/non-funny guy on the Dallas Cowboys All or Nothing (on Amazon, check it out). Hap has been nice in this thread and has given him the benefit of the doubt a couple times. But he's an idiot. Look. A lot of football players are. Always have been. And probably always will be. There are some really smart guys, but there are more "big, dumb animal" types. Cole is just a "small, dumb animal".
  12. He's already made it clear he isnt willing to listen to science, or anything else. His mind is made up, he wants to do what he wants with no consequences, LET HIM LIVE HIS LIIIIIIIFE! Ugh
  13. Like I said in the other thread, BB in prime "Patriot Way" dynasty era would have bounced this #3WR from the roster on his first tweet. And not for the contents of the tweets or for his POV, but because he broke the team agreement that they wouldnt talk about it so it didnt become a distraction.
  14. The team can no longer hide behind their flimsy "we agreed as a team to not talk about it", and I hope the press goes at all of them for answers to difficult questions. McD close to losing his grip on all of this. If he even ever had one.
  15. Sure, and he can do it on his own and unemployed. That's all we're saying.
  16. No, he shouldnt get the vaccine if he doesnt want it. But then, based on that CHOICE, he has to follow the protocols for those that made that choice. And he is saying he wont. That's a problem. Cant have your cake and eat it too. That isnt how adult life works.
  17. Not fine him for not getting the vaccine. Fine him for refusing to follow the protocols for unvaccinated people. How are so many of you missing this point? It isnt about forcing a vaccination. He can be unvaccinated. But he has to follow the unvaccinated protocols then. Simple.
  18. Scott, youre better than this. You are completely missing a huge part of what is happening with Beasley.
  19. Dude, are you not reading/understanding the issue here? No one cares that he isnt vaccinated. But if you CHOOSE to not get vaccinated then you have to follow the protocols as agreed upon by the NFLPA. And he is saying he WILL NOT follow those protocols either. You dont get to have everything your way with no consequences. THAT is being a baby.
  20. If we cut him outright, we save $4M on the cap this year.
  21. No one is surprised the there are plenty of ignorant, spoiled, selfish, man-children in the NFL. It's probably good we get this reminder since we've been having a bit too much of a lovefest with the players lately.
  22. Rachel, I'm a Bills fan, not a players fan. I was a fan of the team before your husband joined, and I'll be a fan of the team long after he is gone.
