  1. This is an insultingly low under-estimation of how tied into players, and especially anything having to do with the Philadelphia Eagles, Josina Anderson is. She was the FIRST PERSON Shady talked to when he was traded to the Bills. She always has the inside story from players. She's not 100%, but she is pretty reliable when it comes to this stuff, unlike a lot of other "professionals" out there.
  2. If I had more time on my hands (and any musical talent whatsoever), I'd make a Weird Al version of this called "Everybody Ertz" for these threads. Anyways, fill it in yourself.
  3. Big mistake, imo. But I've also always contended the playoffs are bad for college football as it is. I could maybe see expanding to 6, and someday stretching it to 8. But even that is all too much. 12 just makes the season worthless.
  4. Well at least this is in the right direction...
  5. "Warrior"? Really? They're adults that get paid to play a game and joke around with the boys all week. Let's walk back the "warrior" talk there, Kellen. I took that look as a joke. The angry little kid who wants to go back out to the slides.
  6. We all know what that is code for at this point.
  7. Not really, when you realize the NFLPA's main stance and MO is to not agree to ANYTHING without getting something in return. Even if what they are originally being asked to agree to is in the best interest, and benefit to, the players. To the NFLPA, the NFL asking them to agree to require players to be vaccinated is seen as "the NFL league office simply trying to protect their business and brand by forcing players to inject chemicals into their bodies without their choice". And given the history, part of me doesnt blame them for thinking the NFL would rather "protect the shield" than prioritize player safety. It just so happens that this is a weird situation where the two arent mutually exclusive. So I'm sure the NFLPA would agree to mandating vaccinations... for a higher cut of revenue share, or for less OTAs, or for whatever else they want nowadays. Additionally, the NFLPA supporting a slow return to football last year was because it meant players didnt have to go to OTAs and Camp. Not because it was the right thing to do.
  8. NFLPA. That is the only reason why they cant. There is nothing legally from stopping them. Only the potential labor strike.
  9. Says the guy who missed games with mono... This is the unfortunate attitude I expect from players... "I don’t see me treating Covid until I actually get Covid".. Brilliant...
  10. Continuing the "news around the league" theme... Looks like WFT is still under 50%, and that's probably the norm.
  11. Absolutely. And to your point up-thread, we are going to know pretty quickly which teams have the problems and which dont, when a bunch of teams are having full practices and are back to normal while others are left at a disadvantage and not able to meet in person.
  12. Would be interested to see if/how McD would answer this question, and if he would be as direct and forthcoming as Arians... You have to look more at the specific demographic of the players. There has been a big struggle with convincing the mid-20s crowd to get vaccinated after they were told for the last year that they arent at major risk, and were forced back into schools as if there was no problem. Add in the fact that most NFL players are cocky and think they are completely indestructible, and live outside of normal consequences. edit: Add in the fact that most players get too much info from Twitter (per Ron Rivera), and that compounds the problem. I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if we were even at 50% of players. I'm guessing more like 30% at best.
  13. RABBIT Season! OFFseason! RABBIT Season! OFFseason! RABBIT Season! OFFseason! OFFseason! ....
  14. The "NASCAR" package that the Giants used to beat the Pats in 07 👍
  15. Agreed. Fair to start assessing this year. Especially with having Rousseau and Basham to compare. Hopefully AJ is at the front of the young pack.
  16. With no rookie camp, no OTAs, no real camp, no preseason to get lots of reps in...
  17. "Take the widest stance you possible can. That's not bad, but check this out."
  18. I had an old boss who LOVED telling people "I'll get on that ASAP" to appease demanding customers/partners, and then kick back and smile and say "who knows when it will be possible though". 🤣
  19. "As Possible" are the often overlooked key words of the phrase "ASAP" Nix's first draft was 2010. Who should they have drafted in 2010 that they overlooked? 2010 QB Picks: Sam Bradford (picked before Bills) Tim Tebow Jimmy Clausen Colt McCoy Mike Kafka John Skelton Jonathan Crompton Rusty Smith Dan LeFevour Joe Webb Tony Pike Levi Brown (lol) Sean Canfield Zac Robinson UDFA Thad Lewis (double lol) Same can be said for 2011. We had no shot at Newton, and then it's a bunch of JAGs. Mayyybe Andy Dalton, but he's not great. Big miss was obviously in 2012 with trading up for TJ Graham over Russell Wilson in the 3rd. This is the defining moment of the Nix legacy, imo. Maybe Nick Foles or Cousins in that draft too. Those guys are just meh anyways, and our team at the time would have made them just another Trent Edwards. But now we're practically all the way back to 2013. So again, as soon "as possible".
  20. My man, you're making a bunch of arguments that I either agree with, or never said otherwise. My point this entire time (well, the last 3-5 posts at least) is that the ENTIRE market is way over valued, and propped up not only on cheap debt and cheap margin, but by a $1.5Trillion cash injection and even more retail cash being pumped into it. Whole thing seems very flimsy right now, like it's on the edge of a correcting crash any moment. That applies to AMC and Tesla, not either/or. And sure Tesla is more likely to survive given their business model vs AMC, but they are both equally at risk (if for different reasons).
  21. (Stealing most of what follows from other posts and articles) Tesla is also way overvalued, and isnt turning big profits like a lot of other well established companies. That is what prompted Michael Burry's $530M Tesla short. It isnt so much against the company, but knowing that when interest rates inevitably go up, Tesla will be one of many companies hit hard (at least in its stock value). Growth companies, however promising, have most of their expected profits in the future. Those profits have to be discounted by the interest rate to be turned into todays dollars. In other words, it doesn't matter how much money Tesla is going to make in the future if interest rates surge today. Well... it does matter... it's just worth a lot less. So how does this relate to the Burry bet? You just have to scroll down a few lines on his 13F filing. Burry has almost as many GOOG/FB calls as he does TSLA puts. Around ~$330MM of them. Why does this matter? These are big tech companies that are actually printing out metric *****-tons of profit today. Interest rates stay the same but big tech goes up? Break even. Big tech goes down? Break even. Interest rates rise? Burry makes more money in a year than all of your wives boyfriends combined.
  22. He went to Harvard?
  23. Go GME, Go!
  24. Coming into town for that game, just so I can watch Fitz throw yet another 4th quarter, game-killing pick. Love him, wish him all the success (other than that week). But he's still Fitz.
