ha! ive thought the same thing for years (re every year is a 'good' year for qbs) picks are always a crapshoot but no more than with qbs. just tick off all the 1st round busts and you realize its much more likely to get a flop or a backup than a franchise just look at leaf/manning. leaf goes first and was absolutely horrible (except of course winning his first game ever against the bills AT the ralph), and manning is a first ballot hofer but yeah, next year we get our savior!

while his play overall hasnt warrented the money he is being paid, last season was the exception. i wouldnt say he earned every penny but it was easily his best season as he was one of the best defenders on the entire team so really, the 'kelsay sux'-ers at the top of this thread look pretty foolish if you ask me

if youre comparing toronto to bflo i can understand the comments but remember that toronto is a super metropolitan city, like ny or la, so ***** always going on there. bflo is just a serious minor leaguer in comparison when i visit toronto i cant help but take a walk down younge street at about three in the morning. theres some interesting **** that goes on in that street at that time. at least there used to be, i havent done that in at least ten years. but the last time i did it i stood outside an all night deli drinking a huge can of malt liquor and chatting with the hookers about how bidness was going and watching the crazy people. lmao but true

my fav part: i heard the previous regime say several time they didnt like roscoes route running. granted that regime doesnt have much offensive credibility, but IF they were right and IF roscoe has dedicated himself to learning how to run good routes, as an effective slot receiver he could really make the offense dangerous

ok i love the guy and congrats on your fieldhouse photo but ... he could just as easily end up with zero picks and out of a starting job next season i mean cmon, ive never see so many fluttering beach balls float right to somebody as he got last season. yes, he does have a nose for the ball, but literally at least five if not six of those picks literally floated right to him like they had eyes. i can only say there was ONE pick that i said to myself hey good play dude, the rest could have been caught by my quad-amputee grandma while she was napping in her lazibitch recliner further, he was a mediocre tackler at best and relatively poor in run support. but im just not impressed with somebody that catches deflected balls virtually hovering in midair as a person i like the guy a ton and i hope he develops into the all-pro we desperately need. but as far as im concerned he still has a ton to prove and i wouldnt be surprised at all if he gets benched by midseason

hard to argue but i will say this, chan definitely appears to know what hes doing. that might not make him the next great coach but hes the classic consummate professional. the team should be fundamentally solid under his rule, which is more than i can say for any of coaches after wade was canned im afraid the defense is going to be the weak link. gailey doesnt appear to have the background to make the defense strong and frankly i dont have much confidence in edwards, who i predict will be fired no later than after the '11 season. by then hopefully the labor dispute will be settled and we can get a real dc in here
