  1. I could throw for 300 yards in the rain against the Bears and I suck.
  2. Milano has always had lots of injuries. That was always the weak link with him.
  3. I have 24 blocked posters. Amazingly, only two posting in this thread. Just shows how many are just trolls whose only goal is to spread misery. Great morning after for the rest of us.
  4. Not lately. And what is that point anyway. Few teams have great offenses without a top tier QB. If that's the point, what's non-obvious about that?
  5. My God this is a stupid thread. Team is 2nd in points scored, PPG, yardage etc. I guess if there is little talent on offense-- the "hot take"-- we have a team of wonderful overachievers. Geez this gets old.
  6. They will now have to pay the piper for their cake schedule thus far. Three road game in a row, two on West Coast and the third in Buffalo. And then they still have NE on road. l'll be shocked if they get more than 11 wins, and if they do then I will give them props. Past performance, however, is not indicative of future results.
  7. Is at the end of the article, so it is behind the pay wall too.
  8. You make an excellent point on preparedness-- Romo was not. He kept harping on Detroit missing two guards, as if they were the only undermanned team. Probably ate too much at the Wednesday meal, as he said when going on about hanging on the goalpost and tilting it to help the last Lion FG try. 🙂 Agree. Get Allen moving in the red zone to give HIM an option to run or throw would be mostly unstoppable, yet we rarely see it.
  9. Yeah, I think he was doing was all announcers do, build up a game for the weaker team when there is blowout potential just to keep people watching. Romo did not appreciate, however, how undermanned the Bills were, and Kubiak felt that was totally ignored.
  10. Thanks. I was not sure who wrote that letter to CBS about Romo, but it was really good. Must have been Kubiak given the placement.
  11. The article is behind a pay wall in today's BN, so I did not link it. But it is really insightful and here are the highlights: - The Bills appeared mentally and physically exhausted throughout the game. He noted early on how Allen avoided contact by going out of bounds when he was running to save energy. He thought the Bills put on a gutsy performance given injuries and fatigue. -Felt that Dorsey went to the RPO one time too many on the interception in the red zone in the third quarter. Need some new wrinkles in red zone. - Allen's third quarter was his worst since 2018. - Last throw from Allen to Diggs defied the laws of physics. Given the Lions' coverage, the play should have been available at the 18-22 yard range given the time the defenders had to react. Allen threw it 36 yards in the same amount of time as a normal NFL QB could throw it 18-22 yards. It was moving 59 MPH. Diggs also ran a fantastic route. Basically, it was a play that should not have been made, and only Allen and Diggs' surreal skills make it possible. If you have a subscription, I highly recommend the read as it really helps cut through all the BS on the Board.
  12. Oliver plainly played a great game--give him a leg. But the PAT miss by Bass was clearly a blessing. The way the D was playing, if the Lions were down by 4 there was a good chance they score a TD and win. For example on the 4th and 1/2 yard that led to the FG attempt, Lions would have gone for it and likely made it. They basically played for a tying FG. The way it unfolded-- add to that some Lions incompetence-- we get the W and out of Dodge. Nah. Win the remaining three home games and one of the three road games and Bills win Division. Book it now. Likely 2 seed. Win another road game, and maybe 1 seed.
  13. I suggest you hop in your Urban Assault Vehicle and take a road trip to Wisconsin. It'll clear your head and put you in a much better mood!
  14. First you ignore the multitude of injuries on defense. Second, you ignore the loss of Crowder. Third, Allen is not 100%. Fourth, the ripple effect on the line is huge. Van Roten is not a real guard. Van Roten instead of Bates plainly adversely impacts Brown's play. Quesseberry at LT is basically a joke. Bates at center is no Morse. Our OL is OK when healthy, but it sucks with the injuries. Very hard to have a great O with no line. And still they put up 26 points. People may think injuries are "no excuse" but if you don't think it impacts performance you are a fool. Let's see where we are in January. But the clip is awesome!!!
