It’s actually working out fine because Minnesota offered me for the 4th pick which I would have done if they were allowed. So it really fell how it truly would as it pertains to the QBs at least

Yup haha I hear ya, I'm tired of it as well. I'm not necessarily advocating for Coleman but we know the type of people that McDermott and Beane gravitate towards and Coleman is for sure that guy on a person level.

WITH THE 4TH PICK IN THE 2024 NFL DRAFT, THE ARIZONA CARDINALS SELECT: MARVIN HARRISON JR. WR OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY I don't believe for one second that Malik Nabers has passed Marvin Harrison as the # 1 WR in the draft. I believe there is a strong possibility he was told by someone in the top 5 that he will be their selection and decided not to work out because of it. Harrison has a perfect blend of size, speed, route running and intelligence to be an immediate # 1 WR in the NFL something that Cardinals are sorely lacking right now and made this a no brainer pick without trades. Doesn't hurt the pedigree he comes from as well from Marvin Harrison SR. @BigdaddyinOrlando and the Los Angeles Chargers are now on the clock!

It would not surprise me if they think there is a large gap between Thomas and then next guy that they give up the 2025 1st round pick. The early look at next years crop of WR's isn't as strong. If he drops down to the 14 range or so I could see Beane making that move it would still leave us with 8 picks next year even without the first rounder. I've said it numerous times that Coleman fits their type of person that they like just not sure if that is the direction they go. I could def see it though esp if the Bills drop down to the beginning of round 2.

James Williams lives off of being a 5 star in HS. He’s a lower the shoulder non wrap up tackler. He can’t cover at safety. He had a lot of teams back off of him in HS for rumors of him doing stuff. Im biased as an FSU fan and Mike Norvell is very big on culture. During the FSU game, Williams snapped Jordan Travis chain right off his neck and Norvell shook Kam Kitchens hand but cold shouldered James Williams

I wish they’d go back to first 3 rounds and 4 the next day or at least do rounds 1&2 together but money drives it so it won’t happen

The 4ths don’t have enough points to be a 3rd. The 5ths absolutely think is a possibility

I know it’s an easy connection but I could see the Chargers trading down , taking Fashanu or staying put and taking Alt and turning around and taking Roman Wilson. I know that seems easy but that strikes me as a Harbaugh type draft. Get the line player who’s dominate and supplement with a blue collar tough WR

Yup NFL couldn’t do anything about Carter , I’m seeing , especially if guns were at the scene, seeing a nice 6-10 game suspension

I will say this, Andy Reid is a hell of a football coach and guys make their own decisions but he always seems to have guys involved in some stuff. Oldest son OD, Britt, Tyreek, Frank Clark, Willie Gay, now Rashee Rice and it’s always fairly serious stuff

I would move Diggs for a 1st rounder or early 2nd rounder and yes take the dead cap. It would allow us to get much younger at WR by taking two guys with elite traits early in the draft and grow with Allen. Diggs at best has 2 more solid seasons in him imo

For as much love as Jordan Travis got esp after the injury, I thought their season offensively was disappointing considering they had 5 skill NFL guys that will probably be drafted(Coleman, Wilson, Benson, Bell, and maybe Travis). As i have said a couple of times they didn’t utilize the field between the hashes a lot and threw a lot of go balls and hoped that he or Coleman would come down with it. Idk if that was playing to Travis strengths , the WRs or both but it was a really weird year esp cause they went 13-0

I’m not gonna skim because I don’t recall your 2020 rankings and maybe that’s what you’re going off of but Higgins and Pittman were WRs 7 and 8 in that draft. Was your grouping 5 deep after Ruggs, Jeudy , Lamb? Like I said can’t recall. I know I was higher on Jeudy and Jefferson than Ruggs for sure but man that draft while deep was very boom or bust probably a lot like this one. I wonder what Ruggs would have been if he didn’t do stupid crap

I think DeJean is a backup option to the WRs and DTs they like but I do think he’s on the board for them for sure

Yes, I think that’s ultimately the difference here. Guys like you and me are okay with a Franklin or McConkey or whomever and we realize them may never be an elite # 1 type WR but will have a good 10 year career. While the ceiling is higher on Thomas Mitchell Legette the floor is they bust out of the league and I really like Thomas game. I still like McConkey at 28 but I’d say the likelihood of him is slim, ultimately we’re all gonna root for the guy they take and hope for the best

6’1 souped up guys who run a 4.4 don’t get passed up year after year. He also started 6 games as a senior with Beamer last year and Rattler and only caught 17 balls so it’s not like he wasn’t given opportunities as you are saying. He was just didn’t capitalize until this year

Our scouts are not the problem. The GM, HC, and Director of Scouting typically make early round picks with the area scouts reports but it’s Day 3 where area scouts make their mark on the draft since the GM/HC can’t be everywhere and area scouts are out all year watching these guys.
