  1. He has a heart condition no one is taking Sweat in the top 10. Someone today said he could fall to the end of round 1
  2. I used to watch ESPN all the time but now once you get past the 2nd round it’s nothing but commercials, roundtables, interviews etc. I want to see the analysis of every pick that’s why I watch the draft. I finally made the move to NFL Network because they still do that on Day 3. ESPN will only do that when a big name College QB gets taken in the 5th
  3. To me it’s pretty clear try we’re using pick # 3 as bait for a QB trade up. My thought process is they must have talked to all the teams in need of a QB and they were either told that their not interested in moving up to 3 or that the Jets price is too high. So the Jets have now shifted to saying how much they love Ed Oliver and if you really want him you better come and get him. Basically talking straight to teams like Buffalo, Tampa Bay, the Giants, Detroit to see if they will now take the bait
  4. Well its clear the Bills would prefer either Williams or Oliver at 9 but if both of them are off the board its either gonna be OL, Hockenson, or Trade down, especially with news of Gary sliding because of production and medicals, Sweat having medicals as well.
  5. I know I’m in the minority but I’d draft Burns as a SAM LB and 3rd down DE. We need a replacement for Zo. He has almost the exact height/weight as Edmunds did and it takes him away from the wash a bit more. I also think he more than showed ay the combine that he is very comfortable in a 2 point stance and dropping into coverage
  6. The guy I'm pounding the table for if I'm a scout and looking for a sleeper is Jordan Brown a CB from South Dakota State. 3 year starter, 6'1 205 pounds 4.5 40 39.5 inch vert and a 10'8 broad jump. Fits any defense....will need to be more physical in the pro game but he has a real chance to be a long term starter and will probably be a 3rd or 4th round pick.
  7. For whatever reason, his tweets wouldn't embed on here for me, so I went with the other one.
  8. This!!! Everyone forgets how good Carter was in the preseason. If he didn’t get crushed and tear his ACL he would have made the team. It’s also the reason the Bills put him on IR instead of giving him an injury settlement and cutting him. If he bounces back from injury, I think it’s Cory Carter who’s your punter not Boroquez. Nonetheless should be a decent competition.
  9. Wyatt Teller would have to pass through waivers to get to the practice squad. A guy who was a 5th rounder with multiple starts and only going into year 2 is not going to be bypassed by 31 other teams with the lack of Oline depth in the NFL. Ike Boettger who the Bills tried to pass up onto the PS was snatched by the Chiefs, only to return on the 53 man roster after the Chiefs cut him. You have 3 options with Teller Keep him on the 53, Cut him, Trade him. I think 1 and 3 are the most likely one
  10. I love all the assumptions just reading through. Idk what the guys thought process is but not everyone loves Los Angeles, not everyone loves Buffalo. Different lifestyles for different people. You know whats probably going to make his decision. Money and who’s going to give him the best opportunity to make more money in the future.
  11. Kelvin Fisher was with the Bills during Whaleys time
  12. My question was more hypothetical since you talked about giving up extra draft capital which the 4th and 5th rounders. I understand it’s not going to get the deal done. It was a counter to your original point
  13. Looks like the Bills are doing their due diligence on CBS in the 2nd-3rd round range
  14. It won’t happen, not because the Bills wouldn’t like too but because another team would pick him up on waivers before he could get there. You have to remember the team liked Ike Boettger and wanted to put him on the practice squad and tried to sneak him in there and the Chiefs grabbed him and he was an UDFA 1st year guy
  15. He’s not falling solely because his combine numbers weren’t good. There are a ton of rumors he has character concerns and was the worst interview of all prospects at the combine
  16. I don’t think they would take him but I dont like this mentality of a player. Plus I think it hurts him saying something like this. He’s basically saying after 5 years you might not have me anymore
  17. Tbh it’s great you look in studies but Beane has never once said he looks at that stuff. I do think analytics drive them Moreso than previous regimes. Yes the Bills only have 1 3rd, but they have 2 4th and 2 5th and an extra 7th. So in your theories, would it be okay if the Bills traded 40, the higher 4th, and the higher 5th because they have extras?
  18. You don’t think the Bills would trade up ahead of the Patriots to secure a Noah Fant or Irv Smith for an extra 3rd round pick? I could see that as a strong possibility. Your talking about a GM who traded away 2 2s and a 3 in just last years draft to secure the guys he wanted. He also has traded up for Zay Jones and Dion Dawkins.
  19. I am not a fan of Buffalo outside of Hey i'm from the area let me root for them. I"m an FSU fan so I haven't followed a ton. I did work for UB and have met Nate Oats, he seems like a down to earth kind of guy. I'm watching this game and can't help that I want to punch Bobby Hurley in the face just by his constant negativity and reactions on the sidelines. A typical dukey in my mind and he hasn't changed since his playing days. Did he act like this at Buffalo? It doesn't surprise me that he has been T'd up so much this year. You can also see the huge difference in coaching demeanor's between this two.
  20. I could see something like the Bills take BPA at 9 no matter what position it is, and then try to trade up to like 27-31 to grab another need position while only sacrificing a pick or two. If they move up any higher then that range its gonna start to cost a lot more.
  21. Not every guy that you listed is going to make this roster. Plus you bring in 90 for camp. I suspect your going to see the Bills trading up at times or trading out of spots for next years draft picks. In the end I can see the Bills only taking like 6 or 7 guys that they really like in this draft and maneuvering for their guy or trading the picks to the 2020 draft.
  22. I also have to think that the Bills are going to be looking to move one of these guys if/when they sign or draft another offensive lineman. You usually only dress 7 on gamedays and only tend to keep 8 on a roster. If you include Spain or a Draft pick our depth chart is pretty crowded to squeeze in those 7 or 8 guys. OT OG OC Dawkins Long Morse Nsekhe Feliciano Bodine Waddle Teller Boettger McDermott Ducasse Spain/Draft pick Obviously we expect Bodine, Ducasse, and McDermott to be let go but even so you have 9 guys. That means they might be looking to move Teller/or Boettger for a low round pick or something.
  23. I think that it is more of an indication that they don't plan on moving Dawkins to the inside. They already brought in Long, Feliciano and apparently are still interested in adding another guard. Makes me think they are less sold on Wyatt Teller more than anything.
