  1. A lot of people are worried about Fords weight. Apparently on visits he was over 340 pounds after being way less at the combine. Might not go round 1
  2. Where’s the DK Metcalf Love right now. All in hiding apparently rn. Guess being jacked and running fast in a straight line isn’t the only evaluation
  3. He’s not that good he’s a look like Tarzan play like Jane guy most of the time plus the heart thing doesn’t help(whether it’s accurate or not). I’m surprised Dillard and Taylor are still there
  4. I’m not saying the Bills and Jets haven’t talked deep into a trade but you have to remember the Jets have been desperate to trade, they are in the biggest media market and it’s obvious their team officials leaked this info. It’s basically a big “hey if you want Quinnen Williams, Buffalo is very interested, your going to have to trade with us!!!”. Thats what this stinks of to me. Could it happen sure but I’m betting they are hoping to get a better package from another team not in their division while driving up the price
  5. While I think he is certainly a possibility, I mean it would almost be laughable after this entire off-season of Beane saying "I know you guys dont believe me but we're taking BPA at pick # 9" that he would reach for a position of need and take Christian Wilkins at 9. Of course he can justify it by saying he was the best player available but he seems like a smart enough guy to realize that people would smell that BS from a mile away and literally no one would believe that he was the top guy left on the board. Now after a small trade down to like 14 or 15 and take him then sure but at 9 eh.
  6. I have been a big Hockenson advocate. For everyone that likes Fant because he's a better athlete, The Iowa Hawkeye's are the most tradition rich TE producing school in the country. T.J. Hockenson started over Noah Fant in one TE sets. Its because he's simply a better player than Fant. He isn't as athletic but he blocks a lot better, he catched the ball more consistently than Fant(who drops a lot of passes). Who cares if you can run fast if you drop the ball. I went back and watched Travis Kelce's Cincinnati tape. He wasn't some fluid athlete in college in my opinion. He actually looked kind of lumbering if you watch his highlights. You also have to remember that he is just 21 years old. He hasn't even tapped his full potential yet. He does look slender for being 250 pounds which makes me believe he can gain another 10 pounds of muscle easy. Rob Gronkowski-4.68 Travis Kelce- 4.63 Zach Ertz- 4.76 Austin Hooper-4.68 George Kittle- 4.52 Those were the top 5 TE's in the NFL by receptions and yards last year. Seems like Hockenson's 4.7 is about right in line besides Kittle. I'm not saying the Bills are going to take him but he's a damn good prospect that everyone underrates because he didn't put up mind blowing passing statistics.
  7. Sounds like a guy who wants to control the stories that are out there because he is a "religious guy" and probably has a good thing going in his community and doesn't want other "sources" painting a different picture about Dwayne and his family that would show them in a different light. Read the whole thing, definitely a different dude. Seems like Haskins would be a good fit for the NY media.
  8. Or you didn’t really read and you have zero evidence that they would take him for fact. It’s actually a big difference in your case. 11 picks to be exact to fall out of the first round. That’s literally 35 % of a difference. Unless your Eric DeCosta or John Harbaugh I’m pretty sure you don’t know this as definitively as your trying to portray. I’m not saying he is going on the 2nd. If I’m the GM am I investing a top 10 pick into a guy with a heart condition as a difference maker for my team while paying him millions and hoping? My answer would be No.
  9. He has a heart condition no one is taking Sweat in the top 10. Someone today said he could fall to the end of round 1
  10. I used to watch ESPN all the time but now once you get past the 2nd round it’s nothing but commercials, roundtables, interviews etc. I want to see the analysis of every pick that’s why I watch the draft. I finally made the move to NFL Network because they still do that on Day 3. ESPN will only do that when a big name College QB gets taken in the 5th
  11. To me it’s pretty clear try we’re using pick # 3 as bait for a QB trade up. My thought process is they must have talked to all the teams in need of a QB and they were either told that their not interested in moving up to 3 or that the Jets price is too high. So the Jets have now shifted to saying how much they love Ed Oliver and if you really want him you better come and get him. Basically talking straight to teams like Buffalo, Tampa Bay, the Giants, Detroit to see if they will now take the bait
  12. Well its clear the Bills would prefer either Williams or Oliver at 9 but if both of them are off the board its either gonna be OL, Hockenson, or Trade down, especially with news of Gary sliding because of production and medicals, Sweat having medicals as well.
  13. I know I’m in the minority but I’d draft Burns as a SAM LB and 3rd down DE. We need a replacement for Zo. He has almost the exact height/weight as Edmunds did and it takes him away from the wash a bit more. I also think he more than showed ay the combine that he is very comfortable in a 2 point stance and dropping into coverage
  14. The guy I'm pounding the table for if I'm a scout and looking for a sleeper is Jordan Brown a CB from South Dakota State. 3 year starter, 6'1 205 pounds 4.5 40 39.5 inch vert and a 10'8 broad jump. Fits any defense....will need to be more physical in the pro game but he has a real chance to be a long term starter and will probably be a 3rd or 4th round pick.
  15. For whatever reason, his tweets wouldn't embed on here for me, so I went with the other one.
  16. This!!! Everyone forgets how good Carter was in the preseason. If he didn’t get crushed and tear his ACL he would have made the team. It’s also the reason the Bills put him on IR instead of giving him an injury settlement and cutting him. If he bounces back from injury, I think it’s Cory Carter who’s your punter not Boroquez. Nonetheless should be a decent competition.
  17. Wyatt Teller would have to pass through waivers to get to the practice squad. A guy who was a 5th rounder with multiple starts and only going into year 2 is not going to be bypassed by 31 other teams with the lack of Oline depth in the NFL. Ike Boettger who the Bills tried to pass up onto the PS was snatched by the Chiefs, only to return on the 53 man roster after the Chiefs cut him. You have 3 options with Teller Keep him on the 53, Cut him, Trade him. I think 1 and 3 are the most likely one
  18. I love all the assumptions just reading through. Idk what the guys thought process is but not everyone loves Los Angeles, not everyone loves Buffalo. Different lifestyles for different people. You know whats probably going to make his decision. Money and who’s going to give him the best opportunity to make more money in the future.
  19. Kelvin Fisher was with the Bills during Whaleys time
  20. My question was more hypothetical since you talked about giving up extra draft capital which the 4th and 5th rounders. I understand it’s not going to get the deal done. It was a counter to your original point
