  1. I don’t feel like reading through the pages so I’m sure someone has said it. It’s so annoying the media agenda on things. Allen is an inaccurate inconsistent thrower(partly true) with a big arm and good runner. Mayfield is just as inconsistent and he’s a gunslinger who takes chances but has savvy and will learn over time not to take as big of risks. Its simple that people have preconceived draft notions and wont back off them until that player makes them think absolutely different.
  2. Awesome, great find to further prove my original point. Appreciate the research
  3. I was thinking about this after today's game and probably should have brought this up when the actual schedule came out but the NFL did the Bills a huge favor this year in their scheduling. It obviously helps that the Bills are 2-0 but as we all know the NFL takes a toll on players over the course of the season. Most players are banged up by midseason because of travel, the nature of the game and weather amongst other things. The crossover to the NFC East this year obviously helps these matters but it should keep the Bills much fresher due to their short travel times to different locations this year. As I looked at the schedule, obviously the Jets and Giants are both really short flights that dont require a ton of travel time. The Bills only lengthy road trip in the months of September and October is to Tennessee for the Titans game on October 6th, the 5th game of the season. Even then the Bills catch a break in this, as they will be able to get rest the following week as their bye week follows that road trip to recuperate and rest up. After that they have 3 more home games and a very short road trip to Cleveland. The Bills will not have to travel a good distance until November 17 with the Dolphins, who are terrible as we all can see. I wonder how much this will help the Bills down the stretch of those road games at the end of the season as other teams have experienced more travel time on their bodies over the course of the year. Cant hurt right?
  4. Hmm could be reading his lips wrong but it looks like Marrome says to 36 “ why are you touching me”, then at the end get your “f” hands off of me.
  5. Looks like Nsekhe is alright in the background there. Doesn’t seem like he’s in a ton of pain
  6. That’s about how I feel lol. Just give me the Ws in whatever way it happens. Jets kicker sucks idc, CJ Mosley groin injury oh well.
  7. The title should be really really good college guys with name recognition who have been bad in the NFL. Out of this list, the guys I’m most interested in are Josh Jones and Carroll Phillips(who I really like and thought had a chance to make the Colts)
  8. Look out Dean Marlow, that spot isn’t so safe now
  9. Yup gonna run the scout team and provide those intricate details about both the Jets and Giants playbooks. I mean I’m sure it’s complete coincidence he was the one signed when they play both in week 1 and 2
  10. I am starting to wonder if they aren’t going to make a move there not because Bororquez is good but because we played Punter roulette last year and it also seemed to affect Hauschka kicking FGs. At least this way Hauschka can get comfortable .
  11. The Bills starting RB is Devin Singletary, they aren’t trading for a guy. They are using NE’s offensive model. They never pay RBs a ton. Didn’t pay Dion Lewis, didn’t pay LaGarett Blunt. RB by committee
  12. Im very surprised that we haven’t heard about certain guys yet. Cam Phillips, David Sills, Christian Wade, Chase McLaughlin all still hanging around at least publicly. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Bills keep both Hauschka and McLaughlin. I am really curious to see if McLaughlin can punt
  13. Fans become so enamored with certain players. Does Duke Williams add something to the WR corps as a big body, he sure does. He caught two red zone TDs against 3rd stringers and everyone gets super excited like he’s gonna start doing it against Richard Sherman. He’s a big slow WR. He may or may not be a PS candidate but we are basically trying to run the Patriots offense so the necessity for one isn’t super large. McCoy does have something left in the tank, but he’s not what he used to be. He wasn’t going to be back in 2020 so they saved his money and gave Devin Singletary his spot to see if he can be the full time guy, and will keep Gore to mentor him, Yeldon as the 3rd guy, and possibly Perry for his STs.
  14. We already did, we traded Marshall Newhouse for a 2021 7th rounder last year. Still need one for 2020 tho
  15. Offensive lineman are hard to come by. I’m sure the Bills didn’t get a lot but prob got more to trade him to the Pats. Really looking good for Bates and Boettgers chances
  16. I wonder if the Bills are actively trying to trade him. He’s def good enough to be an NFL kicker. I’d be really curious to see if he can punt. Gotta remember Pat McAfee was a college kicker who transitioned to Punting in the NFL.
  17. I think this mean shows where we are headed with the OL. Ford is the RG and Nsekhe is the RT. Nsekhe gets hurt, Ford bumps out to RT. Dawkins gets hurt, Nsekhe to LT, Ford to RT. The real question is who is the first guard, Feliciano or Long off the bench
  18. For the people who are saying Lawson, Jones, Foster I can sort of agree but at the same time those guys have value around the league. Im sure if the decision was to move on from any of those 3 they should be able to get some sort of draft pick compensation back. In the case of Jones and Lawson obviously we’d be losing in the value they were drafted at but I’m sure someone would take a shot to reinvent a young high round pick for say a 4th/5th rounder
  19. The offense has looked good, the defense hasn’t faced a starting QB yet. That’s what is holding me back on the extra excitement. So far so good def looking improved but I’m not all the way on the train yet to playoffville
  20. Thats exactly what their doing. My guess is that he actually has cleared it but they are just saying he’s still in it to avoid the media and questions why he’s not practicing if he’s cleared protocol. He’ll miraculously clear protocol my guess the week of the 3rd preseason game
  21. And Noah Fant drops the ball just like he did in College way too often
  22. I’ll give some additional insights to today’s practice since I was there. -Josh Allen looked really good today. He was pretty consistent on throwing to all levels. It seems he has a good connection with Brown and Beasley already. Beasley was talking Allen’s ears off on the sideline you could tell. Matt Barkley looked solid and efficient as a Backup should. Tyree Jackson looked like a guy running with the 3rd team, tho he did have a pretty deep ball in 11 on 11 -Devin Singletary looks good. Much quicker and shifty than his 4.66 would indicate. Yeldon looks big but average. McCoy still has some juice. -Beasley, if healthy, is going to lead the team in receptions. Flat out broke a dudes ankles in 1 on 1. Foster toasts a guy in 1-1 for a long Allen TD. Brown looks really good. Adjusts for a long ball TD from Allen in the middle of the field. A very difficult catch. -Knox looks thick and agile, Sweeney is huge but has more ability to catch balls than he gets credit for. Had a nice 20 yarder on a touch pass. Lee Smith doing what he does, blocking and false starting. -Oline looked okay today. Ford got worked some in 1 on 1s. First by Murphy, then by Johnson the 7th rounder. Speaking of Johnson, I can see why they took a flyer. Incredibly long with a great body type. Much like Edmunds just not as jacked with good athleticism but raw. - Ed Oliver didn’t really stand out in any way today. Defense was unspectacular but to be fair, a couple of the deep TDs today could have been counted as sacks because they were getting pressure. Edmunds is way better to start year 2. Looks quicker to react to run plays and still looks great as a pass defender. Stays with Beasley across the middle. Alexander looks athletic and ready to go for a 36 year old. -The secondary was rotating a lot of guys in practice. I thought the guys who had the best days were Taron Johnson, EJ Gaines and Cam Lewis. Blanketing guys all practice. - I don’t think David Sills or Nick Easley make the team or practice squad. Just too stiff. I was disappointed in the punting, particularly Cory Carter who was very good in training camp last year. Last note, I see twitter giving massive props for Allen starting 5 for 5 in practice today from various tweeters and bloggers. Yes he completed them, but it was clearly a walkthrough where the defense wasn’t actively trying to stop the offense. It was one of those pregame warmups where the offense executes and the defense doesn’t stop it but is in the right position
  23. I also watched the game again recently. I was probably 8 years old or so when it originally happened. The OP is right. The game was tremendously sloppy for two teams who didn’t punt. There were a lot of turnovers. I also felt as though from an athletic standpoint that the Bills defense wasn’t very good in the secondary during their SB years. I also watched the AFC title game in Miami before they lost to the Cowboys and despite winning, Kelly played horribly, the Bills left them in the game, and easily could have won that game by 30. Pretty easy to see the carry over in why they got steamrolled by the Cowboys
  24. If he did, the Berzerker and Mantaur would be the official Vikings mascots.
  25. I mean what’s the chances Fisher is successful in his transition. I get the blocking TE thing for him but he was a below average offensive lineman who will still be blocking DEs and he offers probably nothing in the passing game. Smith is still a hell of a blocking TE and at least offers something in the passing game. I fully suspect you’ll see Sweeney on the PS. Kroft is the all around guy, Knox is the pass catcher, Smith the Blocker, and Croom if he makes the roster(I suspect he would) would allow them to use Knox and him in passing situations
