  1. The definition of "run" here is what I think confuses a lot of users, at least on Android (I don't know much about how iOS works). On Android, apps are put into a saved state where they are open, but aren't running (unless they specifically need CPU/memory resources). Then, when multitasked back to, they are resumed from the paused state.
  2. Task killers are a terrible idea for any modern mobile OS.
  3. EDIT: Hrm, guess its coming soon in next few weeks, thought I read it was already out: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/cell-phones/google-announces-full-offline-mapping-mode-for-android-smartphones/7744

  5. My opinion on Bieber changed slightly when I read this: http://www.forbes.com/global/2012/0604/celebrity-100-12-justin-bieber-investments-venture-capitalist.html
  6. I don't understand how you can look at those numbers and not say "Buffalo was a much better situation than Jacksonville". MJD had a 4.7 yards/game average on a team with a passing game that didn't even reach 100 yards passing for 25% of the season, and lead the league in rushing on an offense that was the worst in the entire league.
  7. Gabbert: 0 Games >300 yards passing 3 Games 200-300 yards passing 8 games 100-200 yards passing 4 games < 100 yards passing Fitzpatrick: 3 games >300 yards passing 7 games 200-300 yards passing 6 games 100-200 yards passing 0 games < 100 yards passing
  8. Nope, that wasn't my logic at all. My point was MJD did more with less than any other RB this season (and has for a while), which proves just how much of a badass he is. FJax was impressive when healthy, but was in a much better situation. Imagine MJD in the same situation.
  9. MJD led the league in rushing with Blaine Gabbert as his QB and Mike Thomas as his #1 WR, and on a team that was always behind in games. Yeah... he deserves to be ahead of Fred Jackson.
  10. Ross Tucker, around the time of the draft, had a long discussion about how most NFL players don't really pay attention to the draft, unlike what most fans think. he said they generally only know if someone was drafted at their position, and outside of that, don't worry about it too much.

  12. Are we limited to just Pink Floyd?
  13. Correct, and there has to be an individual who is a majority owner.
  14. The rumor I'm hearing is that Texas and Deloss Dodds are open to 14 right now, but the Big 12 is more likely to go to 12 teams first, due to fear of litigation and the PR prospects of the Big 12 killing the ACC. FSU being one of them, and the other still being worked out between Clemson, GT, VT, and Miami. I'd love to see us pick up both FSU and VT, but I have some emotional ties to VT due to friends.
  15. And I've never heard anyone say Donnie Darko was anything but awesome. Hell, it has a 8.2 on IMDB and 85% on RT.
  16. Did you call him Joker?

  20. Easiest Copy/Paste list that I saw. And there have been plenty that have contributed quite a bit from that era, check out that list.
  21. Holy crap, I never heard of that while I was at UT!
  22. I wouldn't call the Alamodome tiny, it holds 72,000 people. I think they're talking about the offseason player evaluations, which from listening to Pat Kirwan, the coaches are usually involved in watching film and discussing strengths and weaknesses with their own group.
  23. I'm really only 95% confident that the President is up somewhere between 4.2% and 11.8%.
