  1. Uh... he didn't say it was.
  2. I said to my friend who was watching it with me: There was no greater preparation for this game, than being a Bills fan. That shovel pass was a very Billsesque move. Seriously, if it wasn't for these Bills, I would be devastated right now.
  3. Wow, you people are !@#$s. I've seen Colt take some hits that no other QB would EVER have come back from. Colt has a lot of faults, but toughness isn't one of them. Yes, I don't think Colt is worth a 1st round pick, but his toughness, leadership, and will for the game of football are his best attributes.
  4. Congratulations! I can only reminisce of the way I felt in 2005 right now, being a UT student and having Vince Young win the national championship. It's the greatest feeling in the world to be the undisputed national champions, and you guys are it. I hope you have a better night than I did though back in '05, I woke up to puke all over my uncle and aunt's bathroom. Seriously though, congrats. You guys played a heck of a football game, and without a doubt deserve to be a national champion. I only hope that at some point in the future, we get to meet up, and Garrett Gilbert will get to extract his revenge. I think he'll be a star, given the time! Again, congrats on the 2010 national championship! There isn't a better feeling in the entire world! P.S. Thanks to the Bills for helping me to prepare for heartbreaking losses like this. Enjoy Cynical and Bill! This is your time!
  5. Unfortunately, porn couldn't save HD DVD though.
  6. Stop whining. They have a valid point, the subject line shows up on the front page, the rest of the post doesn't.
  7. I've got to wonder how much of the offensive problems in Baltimore were Billick, and how much of it was other factors. If you look at 2006, when Billick took over play-calling after firing Fassell halfway through, and they had an old Steve McNair at QB, they finished #12 in the NFL at 23pts/game. I think the problem might have been the whole organization's inability to find a solid QB.
  8. Wow, Billick was pretty terrible at match game.
  9. Since when did they start making McNuggets out of "chicken beef"?
  10. The question is: Why would the Bills do this? Would the Bills be trying to keep them under contract, so they can avoid having to re-negotiate a new contract in the event the new head coach decides to keep an assistant?
  11. I was for us trading for Cutler, and I still think he's a darn good QB, but I'm glad we didn't give up what the Bears did to get him. I think a lot of Cutler's up and down year was due to three things: 1.) Cutler and his receivers seemed to take a while to get on the same page. Cutler would throw a ball up, and his receiver wouldn't run the right route. Whether this is bad coaching, lack of effort, etc., I don't know. 2.) The Bears didn't have a running game, because of their terrible offensive line. Hard to pass when defenses don't have to respect your offensive balance. 3.) Cutler was getting pressured a ton, forcing some bad decisions on his part. The Bears aren't in a good spot right now. They need to completely re-vamp their offensive line, and they've given up the best draft position for the next couple of years. They're going to be hard pressed to rebuild that o-line at the moment. The Bills would be in the exact same spot if they had given up those picks for Cutler. The Bills still need two tackles and a center, and would have to get those players plus all the D players they need without having those draft picks. Not a pretty picture.
  12. Tim's just reporting what we were talking about in this thread: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=104605

  15. The guy running TSO West said its a sure thing this year!
  16. I think the real question is - does Nix have an eye for coaches? That's going to be the biggest decision he makes this year, and he's never made that choice before. It'll be interesting to see what happens there. Also - Nix is a 3-4 guy, isn't he?
  17. Yeah, I saw it for the first time the day after Christmas here in San Antonio, and it was FANTASTIC! I wish the whole show was the last hour.

  20. I think The Senator is Mike Leach.
  21. Here's the local paper, which has more info: http://www.redraiders.com/2009/12/28/leach-suspended/
  22. If that's true... well... Leach is done.
