I think your team is probably better than you think it is. If you play the matchups right, Addai/FWP could be a good combo, and your starting WRs are solid.

The talking always happens during pre-season. The producers realize that for many people, they don't care that much about the action, so they find other ways to draw them in. It won't be nearly as bad in the regular season.

Reid hasn't given a rookie RB over 50 touches cept once, which was Buckhalter in 01, and he prefers vets. The Eagles also have Lorenzo Booker who is getting more touches than McCoy, and no Eagles RB other than Westbrook has finished higher than 47th since 2003. The ceiling for McCoy is much lower than it is for someone like Fred Jackson or Leon Washington, as he's going to get a lot less touches. The *only* thing that will save McCoy, IMO, is a Westbrook injury, but I wouldn't be gambling my fantasy season on injuries.

I think guys like Freddy Jackson and Leon Washington provide much better value over McCoy.

Love McNabb this year, think he's gonna be top 5 easy at the QB spot. Not that hot on LT, but grabbing both LT and Andre Johnson indicates you drafted between 8-10 and got good value for your picks. Love Ronnie Brown as a #2 back, think thats huge value, and Bowe/Bryant at WR is excellent as well. Cooley is an average TE, won't hurt you ,and I like the D pair. All in all, solid team that should make the playoffs, maybe not the best in the league though. Nice job.

Its not bad. You've got a better than average chance to make the playoffs, but I don't really like Evans as a #2 or Ginn as a #3. Grant is a bit overrated, and I think McCoy is going higher than his worth.

I wouldn't be shocked if they viewed the first game as the perfect time to evaluate the newer players, so they can focus more on getting the regular guys up to speed int he 3rd and 4th games.

Part of that whole Big 12 not in the top passing defense was partly due to how freaking awesome the passing offenses were.

I think Fitz is the type of QB that needs a bit of time to get comfortable in a situation. I remember last year, he started out REALLY crappy, but then played somewhat well, same with this training camp.
