  1. All I know is that it's a shame that we have to allow a player like Henry to walk for a next season's 4th or 5th. It doesn't do much to boost confidence in the current management.
  2. One of those posters said he was so successful because he lined up in the slot, but that's simply not true. He was successful becasue we launched the ball over 600 times and for no other reason. Hell, how many teams put the ball up over 600 times and don't have two WRs over 1K, unless of course they have a Moss or some monster superstar which are few.
  3. It's always a mess. Seems like the Bills have one of the most antiquated ticket systems in the league. Do they at least confirm the exact seats these days? It used to be you'd simply call and state your preferences but wouldn't know what seats you got until the tix arrived. If you didn't like them, then too bad I suppose.
  4. TD's finished after this season.
  5. Grevey's food blows. It's extremely average or below average. Jimmy's Food is much better and Jimmy & Staff are really nice. At Grevey's they can come across as apathetic at times. On game days expect to wait a while even for simple things such as fries. I've often waited up to an hour for food there on Sundays and when it comes it simply isn't worth the wait.
  6. LOL... Oh yeah, those downtown neighborhoods are really a buzzin'. Rochester is a great family city but not tops for singles. It's very nice. There's a good "bar scene" for the most part, but what you'll find is a revolving group of singles if things haven't changed much in a decade. The Park Ave. Advice is good, Corn Hill is another area to check out. I always preferred the East side of Rochester not to be confused with East Rochester the town proper. The East side, likely due to the presence of Xerox, always struck me as a little white collar. But the city and suburbs overall are a nice mix of both. My advice, rent first and check the area out for six months if you have that option. Then you'll know a little bit better what's going on. Recommendations: Fairport, Pittsford, Bushnell's Basin area.
  7. Uhh, because he was a backup that sucked. Just a hunch.
  8. I guess midget boy doesn't think that Brady makes his plays look exciting enough.
  9. Yeah, by a player about his size. Let's see what happens to him when he gets leveled by some big time NFL safety. And where's the footage of him actually getting up?
  10. Depending upon how many you need you won't have any trouble getting them in the lots.
  11. Shouldn't the choice be jail or having season tickets?
  12. Yeah, we can then trade for a few more WRs. We have six tight ends on the roster now. Let's stock the team with 15 WRs and TEs to "give JP the tools." Sounds great!
  13. Ya ain't fixin' the line by drafting WRs and receiving TEs.
  14. Oh boy, someone that's never played LT before. Great. What a time to learn in the AFC East.
  15. The problem is that he won't contribute to us winning a single game this season and he's worth more to us traded. Donahoe failed to correctly assess the marketplace. I can't imagine that Henry will come and play here. So it's cap space and bucks wasted. It's in Henry's best interests to sit out. The market next year for backup RBs isn't going to net him more than if he holds out. Trading him is a win-win but Donahoe's ego and faulty sense of "Henry's worth" have cost both the Bills and Henry a good deal.
  16. The same thing that's going in Homer Simpson's head when they show it.
  17. You're crazy. It's always a little odd when you're relying on something other than talent for success. It's a roster full of backups.
  18. Wrong. Henry stands to gain very little by playing this season. If he comes to camp, he's a backup and will be treated as one when he goes to free agency. He won't have much of a chance to do anything this season unless Willis gets hurt and then our problems run much deeper. If he plays and injures himself, it will have been the worst decision of his career to show up this year. He has a lot more to gain in the long term by not showing up.
  19. Go get an x-ray and make sure nothing's broken. Could be a hairline fracture.
  20. It wouldn't be the first time that Kirwan is wrong if it doesn't happen that way. I would think that there'd be a better prospect available in the draft with the Cards' first pick.
  21. All I know is that I'm all tuckered out.
  22. Median price of a home just went over the 500K mark in March for N. VA. MD and DC are no better. Small condos and little 2 BR houses in the region are selling for ~ 400K and are often bid up. If you're looking for a house with 3 or more BRs for under 400K then you'll likely have at least an hour commute to get anywhere close to D.C. Townhouses are like weeds down here. They're somewhat less expensive, but not much. As one poster said, you can move out, but there are hidden costs of commuting including time and sanity. The nice thing about going south in VA is that there is the VRE (Virginia Rail Express) if you have to commute into DC or Arlington or Alexandria. Virginia is relatively conservative while Maryland is among the four most liberal states in the nation rivaling CA, NY, and MA for top honors. It's illegal immigrant central in MD. DC is its own world. The bottom line is that if you've been here for at least five years and have owned your own home during that time, "you're in", otherwise prepare to join the mayhem in finding a place to live.
