  1. The question should be "Who is the dumber Yale grad -- Bush or Jauron?"
  2. When McNabb got benched earlier this year, one of McNabb's critics couldn't wait to post on the wall the same old diatribes about McNabb running too much earlier in his career and being overrated. Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail was dead on when he said "His career TD/INT ratio is 185:89. His passer rating over the last FOUR years is 93.78. And he has only had a true number one receiver for one season in Philadelphia. Every time you count this guy out, he comes right back." link to original thread McNabb & the Eagles are back in the playoffs after bring benched in the first half of the loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He led the Eagles to four victories in their final five games. Even though the Eagles have Brian Westbrook, coach/GM Andy Reid hasn't done much to get more depth at RB or to emphasize a running game. With the exception of TO, McNabb hasn't had any star wide receivers as targets. Yet in his 10 seasons in Philly, McNabb has 29,320 career yards along with 194 touchdowns. He's been to four NFC Championship Games and one Super Bowl. Just wondering what his critics are thinking now on the eve of the playoffs?
  3. Irony: the same Patriots fans hammer NY Yankee fans for acting like they are entitled to win.
  4. Jauron would also be outcoached by a bear rug.
  5. I know Jerry Sullivan isn't popular in these parts because his columns are usually negative. But you can't argue when he cites obvious examples of Dick Jauron's game day ineptitude.
  6. Jonathan Kraft spent time poo-poo'ing the report by Tom Curran yesterday on WBCN, claiming that it did not come from official sources and Brady's rehab is coming along just fine. However, Curran has been a good reporter, and it would be unlike him to report unsubstantiated hearsay.
  7. Pete Carroll is a great college coach. His rah rah demeanor is suited to teaching and recruiting young players. It didn't work in NY. It didn't work in New England. Pro players get paid too much money to take a coach like that seriously when they try to discipline them. The Jets players tuned him out in one season, and Carroll was undermined by pampered brats like Terry Glenn when he coached the Pats. Carroll has it made in LA. USC pays him well, he can recruit players who *want* to play for him, and he enjoys working with inner city youth there. I can't see any scenario where he would leave all that for Buffalo.
  8. But we are supposed to feel sorry for Donte because he was playing with a sore shoulder. Please disregard the fact that it was Sammy bleeping Morris and that every player is banged up by the end of the season.
  9. Bet he won't be. Because Bills fans need one more kick in the crotch.
  10. Jesus wept. And so did the Bills fans.
  11. immediately
  12. Time to piss on the fire and call in the dogs. This hunt is over.
  13. Great clock management. Just f'ckin terrific.
  14. Why wasn't Wright flagged for spearing?
  15. This is like seeing a car accident played over and over in slow motion. Why am I still watching?
  16. When you get steamrolled by Sammy Morris, it's pretty f'ckin pathetic.
  17. If the Bills coaches don't give a sh1t about trying to win the game, why should we?
  18. Really smart to waste time when this is their last drive with the wind. STUPID STUPID STUPID
  19. Will the last one out of Ralph Wilson Stadium please turn off the lights?
  20. Dick is awesome when he's standing on the sidelines applauding his defense after they give up another first down.
  21. That's why they haven't been passing.
  22. The Bills have the wind again. So they keep running. Did Edwards' arm fall off?
