  1. i am living in florida and was at the bar when they selected ej. there was a collective huh???!!! he is a big kid. my concern was and is that he has never seen a cold day ever. i prefer qbs for the bills that have lived in the snow. that's just me i guess. i am hoping his knees will not be a problem especially as he gets older and dealing with the cold.
  2. i was wondering the same thing. our wr corp and te's do not instill fear in anyone. don't i miss the days of reed going across the middle, beebe and lofton blazing down the sidelines. we have not had a te worth anything since metz.
  3. being a disabled vet--i want to wish all active duty personnel a safe and happy holiday wherever they may be. my son is in usaf and will be spending his last holiday in japan. been gone 3 years, but will be back in a few months. he has made it clear he wants some zweigles!!
  4. lewis is a gamer. would be nice to keep him and draft a qb. i like lsu qb mettensomething or georgia qb. both have knee injuries but upside could be huge. be nice in like say 3rd round
  5. we are stuck with manuel for at least two more seasons. this season was a wash due to injuries.
  6. i remember those days all too well. we may have the best rb tandem in the league. thad lewis while we all root for him...just is not very good. manuel has had a few moments of glory. with the injuries he had this season, it has basically been a wash. any reason why we are not running the ball down everyone's throat? i do not have a problem with a qb being a game manager. hell dilfer has a ring. he got his with a dominant defense, solid running game, and he did not make mistakes.
  7. i grew in pittsford. my hs won the title in 1982. biggest guy may have been 250. lived in maine for while. son's hs won the state title. we moved down south and lived in georgia, alabama, and now florida. football is religion down south. the hs "kids" playing can block out the sun. no school in ny or maine would have a prayer vs a top southern school.
  8. we have no shot at cutler. he will be a titan. he attended vanderbilt.
  9. he reminds me of trent dilfer for some reason. he is a game manager. at the same time all the kid did was win. get a solid defense. run the friggin ball. get a qb who will manage not to pull fubars and this would be a competitive team. at the very least respectable.
  10. i have a better chance of growing an eyeball on my kneecap. just saying....
  11. jay cutler is same as jeff george. milion dollar arm, 5 cent brain.
  12. it is reported he tore acl and mcl. i am thinking he will not play in 2014. he has had i believe 2 back surgeries, like 4 forearm surgeries, and an ankle problem.
  13. webster fan...i have not been back to ny in a very long time. fought the wars. yes wars. 20 years infantry. have not not been back in a longggg time. my kids are active duty, so i only get the games here and there, due now to permanent disability now. i find it refreshing to get a comment without a ton of grrr. the nuklz factor is funny. keep on keeping on.
  14. nuklz factor.. that is too funny. it seems lately, eons per say...that we are like kids at thanksgiving at the kiddee table, or jv playing the varsity. i guess at this point of my life i look at things in black and white...there is no grey. with such a loyal, rabid fan base, this could be fixed by now. i am at the point where i will grow an eyeball on my knee cap, before they are a playoof contenders. nuklz factor...i salute you.
  15. finger nails on a chalk board, comes to mind.
  16. my kids are grown up and gone. grew up in pittsford. attended fredonia state. lived in maine, so i dealt with the pats winning. wife had the flu of death when we lost to giants. she in her most sexy, puking voice utters.... ha ha , you suck. they do not believe bills were once a powerhouse and the pats were door mats. never thought i would see red sox win in my lifetime lol. so my question is, who wins a championship first....cubs, sabres, or the bills?
  17. it is like putting cream cheese on a zweigles
  18. i do not get this. giving up a weather advantage and home field. this is like putting cream cheese on a zweigles. i miss zweigles dogs.
  19. i am 50. been watching this team forever. i am now at the point that when i think my life kinda sucks.... i just watch the bills play. it makes me realize that i am ok. we stink and will for a while. sigh.
  20. agreed. we should be a smash mouth running team. have perhaps biggest oline in the league. they should be able to just fall forward to run it effectively.
  21. proper preperation prevents p*** poor performance. we have perhaps the youngest team in the league. our depth at every position is poor save the rb position. the season is a wash. reminds me of being a kid at thanksgiving. there was the adult table and the kid table. we are at the kid table, or we are the jv in a varsity league. right now marrone seems to be out of his league. the draft will hopefully be a depth draft.
  22. things could be worse. we could be the jags. joekel done for year with broken ankle. traded away monroe. gabbert is the qb. ball boys are practicing at wr.
  23. as much as it pains to say this....we are a junior varsity team. we are sitting at the kiddie table at thanksgiving. as much i want to see the glass half full, i just do not see things improving anytime soon. i am pushing 50. i have a better chance of growing an eyeball on my knee cap before we are a respectable team before the lease expires.
  24. he could provide gap if we draft a qb. he can make plays. him and perhaps wr bowe? i can dream? romo. a tight end. a 1st class wr could be fun.
  25. his contract is up i believe. would he look good in buffalo?
