    Brady is a sanctimonious D-Bag. He only cared about Brown to the extent it was gonna help him win another Super Bowl. I’m sure he’s reached out to Bown since then to see how he’s doing.

    Great point about the Davis motion giving away the snap timing. A smart staff that can think on its feet would’ve put Davis in motion and had josh do a hard count when Davis got behind Josh. Would’ve almost certainly drawn the vikings Offside. McDermott is elite at game preparation, but sub-par at snap decisions. Best evidence of that is his challenge record.

    this team is a friggin mess right now. I don’t gamble and I doubt I’d be able to bet against Bills if I did, but right now the Bills are easy pickings. Vegas models don’t account for a team in collapse very well until a lot of money starts piling up on one side.

    yep. That’s what I said above. There’s no downside to trying to draw them Offside at least once. And probably a better than 70% chance the Vikings would’ve jumped. And even if they don’t, it makes them think twice about jumping the snap. McDermott hasn’t shown the ability to think on his feet. Josh hasn’t for that matter either.

    Fair enough, but Josh is yet to show the ability to play disciplined ball control offense even when the situation calls for it. My guess is you’d get a slightly better Cam Newton in the hoodie’s offense.

    If I remember correctly, it was Josh who really wanted Dorsey as OC. McDermott sounded lukewarm about it publicly.

    It was the right call, but how about a hard count when you know the defense is gonna jump the snap? Worst case, the ball gets moved back 6 inches and you do it again. At this point, it’s really hard to have any faith that our coaching staff can do what it needs to do to finish games.

    This has to do with McDermott and the players belief in him. Anything else is normal gripes.

    How is it not killing this guy to get out there and help his team, especially with all the injuries in the secondary? That said, if our $40m per year Hollywood QB didn’t fumble a snap we still win that game.

    Wrong or not, it’s McDermott’s head if they don’t turn it around. So he better find a way to get through to his $40m per year Hollywood QB who doesn’t value the football.

    Too much crazy stuff happens to this team at end of games to pass it off as a couple bad things. Hail Murray, 13 seconds and whatever happened in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter today are 3 of the biggest meltdowns in the NFL over that timeframe.

    Yep. The problem was not running it with Josh 3 times when you got to the 5 on 2nd and 2.

    You gotta admit, we are and have been horrible in situational football the past couple years. You might not coach that exact situation in practice, but it’s definitely on the coaches to put guys on the field they trust to make the right plays.

    The fact that the coaching staff can’t get this team to stay focused for 60 minutes is a real problem.

    If we were gonna go for it on 4th and 2, how do you not run Josh 3 times in that situation when it’s 2nd and 2?

    All the joking and looseness from the players is clearly fake. They turtle up when it counts. Allen was Bill Buckner-like but let’s not forget Diggs dropping a ball that would’ve sealed the game.

    Completely agree. Hard to have any confidence the team is gonna pull out close games against good teams with McDermott at the helm. Becoming clear that Josh needs a different coach to get him and the team over the hump.
