With all the crazy conspiracy theories out there in the world, I actually think there’s something to this. He looked really off yesterday. Slow to process, indecisive and sometimes statuesque in the pocket. The game moves so damn fast. It doesn’t take much to impact your play.

I thought the pick to Alexander was the worst interception I’d ever seen until the one on the opening drive yesterday.

Gotta be Knox and Davis. Mckenzie is a gadget guy and paid accordingly. Knox is paid like a top end Tight End and is putting up JAG production. Davis’s drops have killed possessions.

I don’t see many posts lamenting that we stink. It’s just hard to deny the 2 year trend of being 2-7 in games decided by less than 10 points. Was hoping we turned the corner after the Ravens and Chiefs games. Everyone (players, coaches, fans) seems to panic when we don’t blow out the teams we should beat. When do we pull out games at end like Chiefs and Bucs yesterday where we play like crap for 55 minutes but are confident we’re still gonna pull it out on the end? Gotta learn to be comfortable playing in tight games.

When you’re favored to win every game and the other team is coming for you and making off-season personnel moves specifically to beat you, you gotta bring it every week. We leave so many points on the field every week. It’s like we have to be at least 10 points better than the other team to win. So frustrating to watch.

I’m not not sure Willis ever gets in another game after that performance.

The sequence leading up to the 55 yarder was more the problem than missing the kick. 2 poor decisions/passes from opponent’s 43 yard line with Jets D on their heels then over-conservative 5 yard run to set up 55 yard field goal.

He’s clutching it with his wrist/forearm against his shoulder. And the ball was moving slightly when he went to the ground. Not a catch going to the ground. Had to come out of pile with it.

I’m no expert, but to me it looks like he’s waiting too long before he takes the underneath route. Then they ain’t open anymore.

If Edmunds caught it cleanly, we’re not having this discussion. He didn’t and he didn’t come out of the pile with possession. There’s no way McDermott was winning that challenge.

I’m not sure he had full control of the ball when he went to the ground. The Jets Receiver clearly didn’t. If anything, they could’ve ruled it incomplete. To be honest, if he had full control, you could argue the Jets player wouldn’t have been able to wrestle control. But since Edmunds has zero ball skills, I’m not surprised at all he didn’t come out of the pile with the ball.

Where’s the hunger? We look like a team who thinks they can get a lead and coast the rest of the way. And why on earth is our QB giving the other team’s QB words of encouragement in the lead up to the game?

This is beyond tired. He’s simply not a difference maker. Book is written on the guy. Rangy coverage LB that makes zero impact plays. Anything more than $6-7m per year is an over-pay.
