  1. Whatever Trump may be, he ain't got nothing on Jim Comey. He is trash of the worst kind, on par with the Paul Giametti character in Showtime. Haven't seen it in a while, but he's so intent on destroying his enemies he's willing to break every law/rule in his way. I want Whittaker to pull the plug on Mueller just for the fireworks. It's all political theater anyway, let's get (t)rolling here!
  2. I'm generally against collusion, but if I WAS going to collude, the Ruskies would be 1 or 1a. The creative chops are impressive.
  3. I think the name got him. Politfact sounds factual. In fact, Politfact has reportedly investigated Politfact and certified they are non-partisan. Honestly what a dimwit.
  4. He's limited, unfortunately. If he goes swimming in a wading pool, his assumption thereafter is that all bodies of water are knee deep. That doesn't make him a bad person.
  5. Ah, I see. I haven't read what Fox has reported on either. I just figured since you were crowing about busting a nut that someone else might question the veracity of news/partial news reports, surely you could not be so vapid and intellectually unaware as to have your own version of fake news and not know it. I get it now. There is only one source of inaccurate reporting in wwpland. I read/listen to NPR, I like to get a flavor for what others might be thinking or reporting on a variety of subjects. I don't spend much time with the BBC, I feel that since the government, through its agents and intelligence community tried to influence our Presidential election, they are not to be trusted.
  6. Have you followed any of the reporting on the total context of his remarks--not just tidbits pieced together by NPR-- as reported on Fox News??!
  7. The rats are everywhere. As for the sentencing hearing, I'd love to see Flynn come out of this as the martyred hero who did what likely every political appointee does prior to taking office, who may have stepped on the wrong line and simply exposed his neck to his political e enemies, but this situation is less fascinating to me than it is a pathetic reminder that many that swim in these waters are scumbags of the highest order, and I'd trust a kid who knocked over a liquor store after a joyride more than guys like Mueller, Comey, McCabe and so on. Still, regardless of the outcome, Trump again displays an uncanny knack for calling it straight and pulling no punches. The "fake news media" is indeed the enemy of the people. NBC is running the story as predicted, not factually inaccurate, but with notable omissions to his this all actually played out. They did the same thing yesterday when reporting the FBI released some data and conveniently omitting that it was required due to a court order. On the bright side though, they accurately reported that Penny Marshall was a bright light and courageous actress who fought through only having one family member who was a Hollywood A lister to give her a break most don't get so she could carve her own path.
  8. You have the wrong guy. My horse is a shetland pony. You typed that JA is running around like an "idiot". Your screen name is WRONG JOSH. I didn't bother rating the qbs, I thought your Right Josh might struggle with the leadership role as he comes off as sort of a first class douche, but if my Wrong Josh became the Bills Right Josh I'd rally behind him. Why? Because hes the qb of our team. There are literally thousands of fans who are happy to come trash this team, I see no reason to help them. Maybe an outlet worth pursuing is to hop on the JR threads with the fans in Zona. At this point, you might as well go into a craft store and argue with someone that blue is a more chill color than red. Right Josh Wrong and Wrong Josh Right are both rookies. Save the camel clutch for the time when JA is out of the league and JR is hoisting his 3rd Lombardi.
  9. Then pull for the guy in Az, follow his trajectory and hope he has a great career. You can do that without crapping on a kid doing his level best to win football games. The alternative is to keep coming back here and laughing at the fans excited for the guy that actually pilots their team, who has some fans excited and happy about the future, all while crowing about the guy you had as 1a who by your own standard has amounted to a whole bucket of suck to date, and for that matter is well behind the guy you had as 1b, showing your guess was as bad as most other guesses.
  10. I have not read his treatise on The Tooth Fairy so I will withhold commentary. Everyone knows the Illumanti is a real thing, not unlike the Knights Templar and the Freemasons. As for you sir, I believe that when you accept the company line without question from individuals with an established record of corruption, they appreciate your support but tend to think of you less Ben Franklin, more Ben Dover. I strongly believe in questioning that which I am told I should not question. I have learned that over time, and am grateful to my parents for encouraging me to be open-minded. But, you choose a different path, and that is your right.
  11. In fairness, let us not forget that Obama was exceptionally clear that the Russians posed a clear and present danger to our country for 9 years, including during his initial campaign and up to and through his time in office. It's not like he waited until the 11th hour, when a new admin was about to enter office, to create an international incident by expelling dozens of Russian nationals from the country with accusations of malfeasance. That would put the new admin at a decided disadvantage in dealing with another super power.
  12. It's a full architectural engineering bully beatdown when you include references to load bearing walls inside ones mind while trashing someone. You're like the Chip Gaines of PPP.
  13. It seems fairly straightforward to me that if General Flynn engaged in treasonous activity, and if the FBI had him dead to rights to the extent they could steamroll him, there would be no reasons for delays, discussions of withdrawing a plea, or even the hint of inappropriate behavior by the FBI by the judge, and I'd think the American people would want a strong message sent. Funny it's not going that way.
  14. Agree 100% with this. Contested catches, circus catches, catches with the db in tight coverage...plus Stafford's very nice throws mixed in.
  15. I didn't want Rosen, part of the issue was the history of concussions, and part as a result of his attitude based on some of the things I've read. Seemed sort of arrogant to me, i wondered how that would play out on the field, but had he been our selection that would have been fine. To flip that around a bit, I look forward to watching JA play. His enthusiasm is infectious (to me anyway, i know some posters here got the JA flu shot and dont see it that way), he lays it all on the line and seems to be improving as he goes. His interaction with his teammates seems excellent, he shows great leadership skills and seems to love the game. I wish the other Josh no ill will, and if he turns out to be a gelreat player and this Josh does not, well, sometimes that happens. For now though, JA is the guy.
  16. It's odd, after watching the replay, I said to my son..."ah man, I hope it's not am Achilles injury. That was weird.". He looked at me, told me he was going to live with his mother, told me I was a horrible father, and that the only thing worse than speculating in the basement watching the Bills play would be to do it on a message board. I say we saddle up and go get this BBOrton fella.
  17. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but this sentiment is one I can't quite understand. The simple math says something nefarious is most definitely going on, the only real question is who is running the dirty game Some pols are out implying that the sitting president of the US conspired with our adversaries in a calculated, deliberate and coordinated attempt to secure the presidency and in doing so, will fundamentally our nation. Some other pols are saying that forces within a/the political cartel and department of justice conspired in a calculated, deliberate and coordinated attempt to ensure the defeat of one candidate, in favor of another by spreading false, defamatory and misleading information about her opponent. I do agree that it's entirely possible that Mueller has something on Trump, but it seems to me the benchmark is pretty low when it comes what might be considered something. I think when the mandate is basically "Look everywhere, at everything, ever..and don't be afraid to threaten some people with life in prison, toss a few in solitary, and maybe cut them a deal if they can give you anything" it's easy to assume someone will get got and someone always offers something. How they scoot all over the world and lockdown that whole carbon neutral game is impressive.
  18. "Evidence"? In a criminal matter, a civil matter, or just something some guy said about something?
  19. I think he meant "pornographic" as he's actually pretty good at %$#@ing the American people.
  20. We have people spouting that popular vote nonsense, blissfully ignorant that they would get a zero.zerozero in middle school civics class for drawing that particular line in the sand. I'm never sure if it's the school system failing them, or if they were playing pokeman with a classmate the year all tha stuff was taught.
  21. Every part of this process is "vetted", including the selection on the special counsel, the selection of individuals to the team, the approach to the process, the questions raised, the sequence of the questions asked, which special interrogator asks the questions, the location where interrogations take place, the climate of the room, intimate knowledge of the subject's life, family ties and the financial/personal situations of each family member who can be squeezed and for what reason. Why should the President be held to a different standard? This is a war, albeit a political one. It always is, and the SC process is a cancer on our system. It was for Clinton, its infinitely worse in a society with unfettered access to technology and surveillance. Jesus, the teenage angst argument about the popular vote rears its dopey head.
  22. Here's the challenge. There are scores and scores of stories about the Dems, the border and everything else. We know Schumer is a big part of the problem, as was John McCain and every other long term senator who accomplishes nothing on border security. The caravan issue was highly publicized....you would think that would galvanize all political leaders r, d and in the middle, as people of good will to solve this issue. Literally every player in the game can look and see something horrible for their side. Yet, nothing happens. Anyway, I understand your point and thanks for the reply.
  23. It's stunning that with Clapper's resume with respect to all things intelligence-related, he would be comfortable with Wolfe's deception on a massive scale. The argument that Wolfe has found the whole ordeal "traumatic" and that then entitles him to a slap in the wrist shows just how interconnected these two are.
  24. I disagree with your take on Trump articulating his point of view. I think you're overestimating sound bite management, especially in light of the way media chooses to cover this sort of thing. I'm not disagreeing with the fact that Trump is a bull in a china shop, but I thought he was very effective in getting pelosi and Schumer off their political game. The key talking point was "let's do this in private", andTrump response's was to school them in what transparency really means. He's right, of course, even if he's oversimplifying the point. The fact is is that schumer has been in the senate since 1998' pelosi in office since 1988...and neither has done anything of substance as it realtes to border security. Neither wants to do anything about border security, they have become quite rich, and quite powerful surfing the tides of the status quo. Nothing Trump can say or do in the moment is going to change how they are viewed by their supporters, so bust it down to the lowest common denominator. He's got pelosi tap dancing after the fact suggesting they weren't prepared to discuss this issue in public, and they didn't want to embarrass the prez by correcting him. I think Trump artfully made them look like the political hacks that they are, if art can be made from a chain saw cutting into sludge.
