  1. I really have no idea what @oldmanfan istrying to convey here, he’s all over the page. He’s hates Trump, yet only mildly upset at Cuomo for causing the deaths of thousands, he’s doing cartwheels and working the balance beam defending Joe Biden while acknowledging his own yet unexplained indiscretions of his past, and apparently has never heard the term gold digger, groupie, starfu**er or many others that describe a person who will allow a powerful man to do exactly what Trump said. I’ve asked many, many women about that comment from all political persuasions and universally the answer comes back “Of course there are women like that.”. Why are we pretending this way? I’m not sure how old he is but I’m beginning to think he was born in the 1630s. I’m guessing Puritan.
  2. What is this nonsense? You’re willing to wager all you have that I was wrong on..what? Drunk driving? Skipping school? Flipping someone’s books in the hall? Seriously, what is this nonsense? If I’m reading you correctly, you’re acknowledging sexually assaulting and/or groping women? And because you lacked self-control, you think everyone did? As for apologies by Biden, this is what he said: That’s my responsibility, I think. I shake hands, I hug people, I grab men and women by the shoulders and say, ‘You can do this.’ And whether they’re women, men, young, old, it’s just the way I’ve always been. It’s the way I try to show them I care about them and I’m listening. And over the years, knowing what I’ve been through—the things that I’ve faced—I’ve found scores, if not hundreds, of people have come up to me and reached out for solace and comfort: something, anything, that might help them get through the tragedy they’re going through. And so-it’s just who I am,” he said. My goodness he seems really apologetic that he’s so comforting and people don’t understand him. 😂 If you treated women the way Biden has by groping, pawing or smelling them like they are fresh meat for the taking—-please, spare me the explanation, it’s your burden to carry, not mine. I don’t apologize for things I thought were funny when I was 17, nor do I apply the sensibilities of a 59 year old me in 2020 to a 19 year old me in 1980. It’s waste of time and effort and means nothing at all. I don’t allow someone else to tell me that “Baby it’s cold outside” is inappropriate and glorifies sexual assault while “You spin my head right ‘round” is about empowerment. Again though, if you followed a similar path as Biden—and in spite of your almost compulsive desire to defend him, I still find it hard to believe you would treat women or children that way—-random internet confessionals do no one any good at all. And I can see why you would see it that way. That’s why your support for Biden is so funny.
  3. I voted Trump x2. Reluctantly the first time. As for outrage, Biden is who he is—a powerful man who takes liberties with the women and children whenever he can. The bigger issue I have is the men that allowed them to be groped so they could go off and brag about how close they all were to Biden. Again, it’s textbook enablement, and Biden’s explanation classic victim-shaming.
  4. This is classic enablement behavior because you enjoy the safety of a status quo politicians. Joe Biden’s snuggly hair smelling with his body pressed firmly against any available flesh was never normal. Never. The liberties Biden took would get his ass kicked in ANY normal scenario from either of our lives, or I’ve totally misjudged who you seem to be. He’s the guy from the local plant in a position of authority that reaches in, pulls the wife close, rubs her shoulders (or worse) while whispering what he might do to her if she was of the mind. He’s the judge who offers to look the other way on a ticket in exchange for certain considerations carried out in the secrecy of a dark hallway. I was born in 1961, am the son of a woman who would jab a fingernail in that creepsters eye, married to a woman who would do the same, and raised my own daughter to recognize the power dynamic in play with this old douche. I’m 100% certain you did the same, and how you can rationalize this behavior as anywhere approaching normal for that time is absurd. Did it happen? Of course it did, but this is a far cry from normal behavior of that time, and honestly, I was taught the boundaries at a very early age. If you were wrong and felt you had to apologize, that’s on you. It may explain your rationalization that Biden’s behavior as a *&$#ing US Senator was “normal”.
  5. I’ve come to the conclusion that you and those like you voted for the old days. You could outwardly espouse progressive ideology while staying in your bubble. When Biden ran his game on super predators, his alliance with Ted Kennedy and the good old boys network in the senate, it was perfectly ok with you—so you want more of that. You can scream about women’s rights, but the truth is groping women and children is acceptable because Biden gives you cover, and they were disposable anyways. Biden’s explanation that the victims simply misunderstood his intent when pawing them is classic victim blaming—and that works for you likely because you understand it. Wow—these are very harsh words for Cuomo. You’re en fuego.
  6. Jesus—Cuomo only “screwed up”? My God, he’s got the deaths of tens of thousands on his hands. As I told you previously—- I’m no scientist, but I’ve known for decades that being around older people with a simple flu virus was dangerous for them. I prayed the last 10 years I wouldn’t catch a cold before visiting my mom at Thanksgiving and she was a perfectly healthy 70+ year old woman. Where the *&$# is your outrage over this a*holes actions? And you’re correct, Trump isn’t Cuomo (he actually worked diligently to get Cuomo’s ass out if the frying pan), but it’s certainly possible to despise Trump and Cuomo as well.
  7. It’s this type of over-emotional reaction that ensures we continue to get knuckleheads and people like Biden in the senate and White House. “Only cares about himself....” so he ran for office, gained traction and presided over a roaring economy. He encouraged repatriation of money long held off shore due to onerous taxation, cut through regulation and was rewarded for his patriotism by being branded treasonous. When it became apparent the story was little more than tabloid fodder, you’d think folks that supported job creation and low unemployment but hated Trump would at least be grateful that fellow Americans had work. Nope—not the Biden boys, to you, it’s overwrought angst and handwringing must resume. Better to get back to Biden policies of old where the swamp prevailed and people knew their place. Which brings us to today. It’s obvious the mist is falling over Biden’s brain, where he’d once laugh off a misstep or inappropriate joke with a hearty laugh and a “Oh jeez, look at me” now supporters aren’t sure if it’s sarcasm, tongue in cheek or just an old guy rambling on. I think the old man lost his way in this conversation—there’s nothing remotely funny or “tongue in cheek” about a serious illness to a major political figure—that’s why no one involved laughed it off. Harris looked like she was responding to a patient with a head injury with that sympathetic nod.
  8. You said all that needs to be said. The country might be in the mood for the old “VP disagrees with boss so naturally he gets a serious illness and resigns” gag if only we weren’t in the 11th month of death and despair. He just missed on the timing of the joke, maybe not fully briefed on the current death total. Maybe he thought we were under a hundred thousand or so—that’s when it brings the house down. The man is toast. He never had a good feel for what to say and when, but as old age has ravaged his brain, the filters are just dropping. This isn’t a joke, it’s a babbling old man. But he’s your babbling old man, so let’s pretend he just misread the crowd.
  9. And decided to solve the problem by supporting a tired old geezer who has made a career out of things like that. Good for you.
  10. This statement belies Biden’s commentary over nearly 50 years in public life. He’s made many, many statements like this and it cost him multiple times in multiple elections. That’s the fascinating part about watching you folks line up to worship at the altar of Bidenism—he’s always been a nitwit, he has trafficked in lies about himself, his education, the deaths of his first wife and his children, he’s made racially insensitive comments and all of that occurred before he lost several steps cognitively. A few weeks back, he thought he was running against someone named “George” and his wife had to correct him. It strikes me as odd that none of the other parties seemed to get the tongue in cheek hilarity. Harris nodded with the type of slight smile a caregiver would have when her patient confused a 2016 Honda Accord and his old 1955 Chevy, and Tapper just moved on at the very oddly placed joke/reference to a COVID-like illness. Worse, where was Biden’s acknowledgement that it was a joke? No laugh, no sly grin, just a meandering and out of context joke by a doddering old man. I remember—I remember it well and it received coast to coast coverage and was hotly debated. Thanks for acknowledging my point, even assuming it was a “tongue in cheek” joke.
  11. This is a surprisingly tepid response from you. You’ve been quite passionate about COVID and everyone’s responsibility, yet Biden’s comments about serious illness during a time of a worldwide pandemic only rises to the level of dampening the “mood” of the country? Millions infected world wide, millions on lockdown and out of work, and your chosen candidate makes light of it all (at least from your perspective) and that’s it—-we’re not in the mood for his dark humor? Interesting.
  12. I can’t stand this guy, he’s everything wrong with traditional American politics—good old boy who ran the Senate with his powerful buddies, yukking it up the way the lecherous do, enriching himself and those around him. That said.. I thought this was a deep fake. He changes direction 3 or 4 times in 2 or 3 minutes, losing his train of thought, and takes a 90 degree turn to something having nothing to do with the subject matter when he drops getting a “disease” and getting forced from the White House. Biden has always been a moron, saying odd $&$)( at odd times, but I would argue he had a certain old bit charisma that took him as far as it should have— the Senate. He was a laughingstock not because of Republicans, old style Dems recognized he was a loose cannon when they bumped him from the ticket multiple times. At this point, he’s an overripe melon who can’t stay on point and says the kind of weird sh$t that should worry even the most tone deaf liberal. Heres the litmus test: 1. This awesome “joke” about a serious illness forcing a national crisis during a world wide pandemic is either uplifting or extremely insensitive, and should be covered by the MSM. It will not be. 2. You, as a reasonable supporter of Biden, should not be struggling to decide whether it’s sarcasm (I’m not sure what you think he as being sarcastic about?) or a joke about a national crisis. This guy has been in the sun too long by about 10 years. That stuttering is a problem as well.
  13. Don’t forget that the PFFC (Pittsburgh Female Fan Combine) is a grueling event. It’s been called a “full body rug burn” and “tougher’n getting into your skinny jeans after an Alaskan cruise”. I’m not a fan of Collingsworth’s style, but he makes his living off yammering on over football games and I suppose I can understand trying to protect your brand. On the other hand if you look at Rothly’s history with women on the one hand, and Collingsworth’s incandescent blather on the other...
  14. This issue reveals the divide of us v them. Vindman held out as national hero, Bills guy is disposable. Such is the world.
  15. I understand you all thinking he is one of hundreds of people making up stories, and I more listened than watched. He didn’t strike me as crazy, just a guy telling his story. Certainly no less credible than that porker who says he heard someone say something about someone who might have heard something else about Ukraine. Interestingly I always get Mighty Taco when I go home. Reminds me of many good times in Hs and college!
  16. I will answer as I am a Bills fan too: 1. Speedo (camo) and mock turtleneck (green), NO—Josh Allen is a mythical figure half man/half god!; 2. Business causal means Friday afternoons off and Monday’s we flip the squawk box on by 10:30....Trick question—I think Trent Murphy sang with Pavorotti and a blind Spanish guy; 3. Yes Zubaz...obviously they were washed before hand they are 10 years old and still fit like a glove..No, the stains are not a mystery 😏....none; 4. I reach for a beer and think “This chick is bossy and I’m not sure I hate it!”; 5. @leh-nerd skin-erd (duh)
  17. Well, if it seems to you that I am not trying to excuse something, we agree. Thank you Tibsy.
  18. Excellent point! Let me know when that happens!
  19. Illegal or not, if you're offering your bride, send pics! As for 'offer of support', people keeping a bit more their hard-earned money is nothing at all like a promise to magically resolve debt that never should have been taken by saddling others with said debt. One rewards hard work, the other rewards abject stupidity.
  20. First, I really want you to know that your opinion is significant and I appreciate your reply. All joking aside, all we really have is our life experiences, our view of the world, and the thoughts that shape our reply here. I think you're 100% spot on as to what might unify us (absent divine intervention, which I'll address below). Something truly catastrophic would probably do it, at least for a while. Beyond that, there is nothing. Well--check that--if Biden is successful in striking a balance that doesn't %$#@ over many of us, that creates an era of prosperity and hope, and can break beyond the view of most that he's an empty suit and a very dim bulb...that would probably do it. To be honest, I don't really see how we come together. I think that falls less on us (DJT supporters), and more on the other side. Most of us sat in stony silence as Barrack O'Biden did his shtick, waiting for the chance to be heard at the ballot box. We didn't riot, didn't advocate having him dragged out for being an Iranian stooge, just...waited. DJT comes along, gets bashed for his extremely abrasive personality (and that's fair), but we're asked to pretend that Clinton and her ilk weren't waging the same street fight when she leads off with DJT is a racistislamaphobemisogynisthaterofpeoplebabykiller? Remember--at that point, using Christianity as a benchmark--we that voted for lower taxes, reduced regulation and some sort of semblance of order at the southern border that did not resemble a cheap Parisian whorehouse--we had been judge by her as "beyond redemption". Worse, those that supported her agreed. Even worse than that--go figure, that was the high water mark of our relationship over the next four years. Russia? Ukraine? SC justice? Protests? Support the police? Personally speaking, I'm not interested in that sort of relationship politically speaking. It seems very unreasonable. My hope is that we keep the dialogue up on a personal level (most folks aren't out fighting in the streets), we move on as best we can understanding that maybe, over time, we can rebuild some of the trust that has been lost. Thanks again! Leondardo deSmartyoh
  21. Well , it's only different in the sense that it's not anything like a tax cut at all.
  22. There is not a chance in hell the things outlined do anything to heal the divide created after the last four years. We had record employment numbers, opportunities for all but the laziest Americans, and the answer was to destroy everything in and around the architect of the plan and characterize his supporters as deplorable and irredeemable. When Biden takes office in January, the only remaining question we have is whether or not dems control the Senate. If they do, the progressives start progressing as elections have consequences. There is no happy medium there. If the dems do not control the senate, the marching orders from the base is 'obstruct'. At the same time, the wise strategy is to attempt to destroy Biden politically, likely through his relationship with China or Iran, and also through the hazy mist of his sons business dealing and personal problems. It's unsavory, but it works. It works so well, a career politician and known groper on the downward slide (mentally speaking)--thrice rejected by his party as a serious presidential candidate because of his penchant for stuffing his foot in his mouth---is about to ascend to the throne. I don't see a political course to unity.
  23. This type of skullduggery, if true and if these anonymous sources (::yawn::) prove correct, it's egregious. Everyone knows the presidential pardon process is as pure as the driven snow, with wrongs made right and no quid pro quo of any sort ever. What concerns me is the precedent. Soon, we'll have presidential candidates bribing highly 'educated' individuals by offering to wipe their personally-incurred college debt clean (as if by magic, and/or passing it on to someone else) in exchange for their vote.
  24. Graph-shaming dude, really, in 2020? I think it’s pretty obvious what the graph reveals about....football...and teams that play football..professionally...vis a vis fourth down situational analytics. In summary, algorithms. Don’t bother asking me to explain further, I’m pretty upset right now.
