  1. She looks like an ideal woman.
  2. No, I considered Federer the possible 1/2. Yeah, pretty shocking, clearly the upset of the year, and possibly the past two or three years. I wonder what odds the London bookmakers had on that match. I looked up he bookmaker odds. Hard to tell, but looks like between 69 and 101 to 1. Not a bad payday.
  3. Don't hate them because they're beautiful. Seriously, I think it's a great era for women's tennis. An awful lot of competition. Unlike say, men's tennis that has three (two and a half?) dominant players and the rest that compete for fourth place.
  4. Our country has a lot of problems, but at I know one thing, that would never happen in the US.
  5. I could watch that all day.
  6. Best comment: "So now in order to get extra room to stretch out, and a blanket, you have to die on a flight?"
  7. Maria . . .
  8. Thinking same thing. That would be well over $10M in my neighborhood.
  9. It's fine. Not a far walk to inner harbor. I think that is a fairly new hotel.
  10. Wow is right. Who uses IE anymore?
  11. Clever. And pointless.
  12. Great weekend for Baltimore - Sailibration - commemorating War of 1812. Tens of thousands see world's tall ships, Blue Angels, Fort McHenry fire works over the Harbor, dinner at Heavy Seas brew pub, etc. Blue Angels again tomorrow.
  13. I'm not sayin' he shoud've killed her . . . but I understand . . .
  14. Wilco is my favorite band. Definite country background (Uncle Tupelo), and have consistently cranked out some of the best folk/country songs over the past 17 years. Hank Williams Sr and crew would have had them on the GOO stage but I doubt anyone in "country" music today hasheard of them.
  15. Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: Do any of you people know where these individuals learned how to shoot?... Private Joker. Private Joker: Sir. In the Marines, Sir. Gunnery Sergeant Hartman: In the Marines. Outstanding. Those individuals showed what one motivated Marine and his rifle can do. And before you ladies leave my Island, you will all be able to do the same thing. I did forget to list one of the most outstanding "country" bands: THE Band. I don't think they made a mediocre song. Other than perhaps Robbie Robertson, all of them could easily be the best musician/singer in nearly any other band. I thought Levon Helm was on of the greatest singers of all-time, while Rick Danko was probably one of the most underrated. Hell, I could listen to Helm tell stories all day long. I'm sorry I never had the chance to see him live.
  16. Cook wasn't mentioned because this is comedians thread.
  17. Great movie. Man up Someone is a bit defensive about their sexuality. . . .
  18. He sings like a girl. And not in a good way.
  19. My idea of country is Hank Williams Senior (while his son is the antithesis), Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Lorretta Lynn, Patsy Cline for the "oldies" and Uncle Tupelo, Jayhawks, Old 97s, Neko Case, Son Volt, Drive-by Truckers for the modern era. I'm a huge fan of Uncle Tupleo which essential launched the alt-country genre. I would argue alt-country is natural descendant of the old greats, NOT Kenny Chesney God-awful crap, all of which perverted the real country sound.
  20. Got it. I now remember that one. I have no desire to see torture porn. I don't understand the appeal. [
  21. Croatian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witnesses_(film) Doesn't matter. Very well done.
  22. Add to list: Witnesses Very well done Croatian film. Check it out. On Netflix Instant. http://movies.netflix.com/Movie/Witnesses/70032912?trkid=2361637
  23. Ha, ha, ha. Good stuff. Um, wait, you're serious?
  24. My favorite part: An attorney for the top Coliseum executive at the time the video was made said his client knew nothing about the production. Former General Manager Patrick Lynch resigned in early 2011 and was indicted in March of this year in a sweeping corruption case. "That's disgusting," Lynch's attorney, Tony Capozzola, said of the porn shoot. "He would never allow that." Lynch has pleaded guilty to conflict of interest in a deal that required him to return $385,000 in alleged kickbacks he received from a Coliseum contractor. Ex-events manager Todd DeStefano has pleaded not guilty to charges that include bribery, embezzlement and conspiracy. Four other men also have been indicted in the case. It's like the habitual, psychopathic kid who's mom insists, "He's a good boy, he would never do something like that."
  25. Good article
