  1. I have season tickets in the Family Zone - with daughters it's a little safer than the upper deck or the end zone. Nothing to worry about, the boys will have a blast. The only caveat - if you want to enjoy a beer in the stadium you can't do it at your seat in the family section (that'll save you some money )
  2. Agreed. I know I'm getting old but I just don't get the appeal of all these "smarter than you" pontificating a**wipes on the pregame and game broadcasts. All I want is to watch the game with a good play by play man doing the broadcast.
  3. It was on the NFL network last Saturday. Two words: Ti Vo!!!!! Seriously, I'm sure they'll run it again soon - just check throught the upcoming programming on their site. BTW, it was good. The only thing they left out from the '04 highlights was big Pat's interception return for a TD against the Fish. I would have liked to see that again.
  4. I have to say the all time worst trio would be Theisman, Dierdorf and that a**wipe Dennis Miller. I haven't watched MNF with the sound on in years. As a side note, for all you Bills fans who want to see the boys on MNF - please stop that talk right now. Not only would it be unbearable to listen to the game but the Bills have a tendency to crap the bed on those prime time Monday night games.
  5. And in breaking news, Ted Cottrell has contacted Bruce Smith to see if he wants to add to his sack total.... I can't believe Ken Irvin is still in the league. Last I heard he played for N.O. Good old Ted is assembling the old Buffalo defense up in Minny.
  6. Sweet...the one flag I've been looking for is the Bills AFC Championship flag with the logos of the four super bowls on it.
  7. I only thought of it a few weeks ago Lee has been money. In one game I was switching Willis and Travis around and the T-man fumbled in the red zone. That's when I made the substitutions permanent. Now I just have to take Pat out of the D-Line.
  8. Painful due to Travis' communication skills. He didn't trash the Bills in the interview (but then he's kind of been doing that for the last couple of months so I guess he got it out of his system already)
  9. Sorry - I missed it (and I'll take your word on the score!!) Fun game - the damn clown screwed me up first time round....
  10. Listen to your women's intuition!!!! As good a guy as he may be, your description of his drinking habits list five or six actions/conditions that are symptomatic of alcoholism. Like yourself (and probably the majority of the board), I like a few drinks too. But based on the description of your beau's drinking habits he could have a problem.
  11. True, but some guy sipping a pina colada and getting brained by a coconut just doesn't make for as good a headline as SHARK ATTACK!!!!
  12. Just clicking around the store and saw this flag. I was wondering when they were going to add one: http://www.buffalobillsproshop.com/main_de...%20Retro%20Flag As much as I dig the 60s stuff I thought this season was going to be a tribute to the 60s Bills and the 90s Bills. They haven't really done anything regarding the 90s teams as far as merchandise yet.
  13. Agreed - I'll still be playing NFL 2K5. I'll just plug JP, Willis and Lee into the starting lineup.
  14. As much as I love having a channel dedicated to the NFL, a lot of the programming and interviews are just horrible. I wish they would just open up the NFL Films vaults and replay old games instead of showing NFL Access ten times a day.
  15. While Heimerdinger should be an upgrade over Hackett the Jets still have a couple of more pressing issues than whether or not to open it up a little more. 1. Pennington's arm is still a problem. The timetable of his return and the status of his recovery keeps changing. If he starts the season at less than 100%, he'll be shot by the end of the year. 2. Even if he is 100%, Pennington is more suited to a dink and dunk short range game than an air it out downfield passing game. 3. Curtis Martin has to age one of these year's doesn't he? And when running backs hit the wall it's usually quick - plus there's no Lamont Jordan behind him to step in. 4. Even with a clock management specialist, Herm Edwards still screws up clock management and now he doesn't have Hackett to blame for this anymore.
  16. If anyone's interested, Rich Eisen and Rod Woodson interviewed Travis on Titan's cam today. One word: painful. And before I trash him let me say that while he was a Bill I had a lot of respect for Travis as a player - any guy who plays running back with a leg fracture deserves the monikor of warrior. That being said, it was painful to watch Travis (not the world's most eloquent man to begin with) field Woodson and Eisen's questions. There was an "um" in every sentence and he had trouble with Rich "King of the Softball Question" Eisen's inquiry as to how sharing time with Chris Brown in Tennessee is going to be different from sharing time with Willis in Buffalo. After the second or third attempt he finally said something to the extent that in Buffalo he wasn't sharing time with Willis anymore. Anyhow, it's on about 35 minutes into today's Total Access show for anyone who's interested.
  17. I hear it only covers games 5 - 15
  18. It's amazing how few people outside of Western NY give Andre any respect. The man was a great receiver. Sterling Sharpe, Cris Carter, Tim Brown & Michael Irvin better than Andre - no way!!!!!!! BTW, I almost didn't read this post, thinking it was about Josh Reed
  19. Thanks - it's from an old postmark on a letter from college (circa '82) that I found down in my basement .
  20. Top four reasons to dislike the Jaguars: 1. The 1996 playoff loss in Rich Stadium (Jim Kelly's last stand) 2. The Rob Johnson rip off 3. Opening Day last year 4. Jack Del Rio - Assclown coach
  21. As our Bills fan in England, wouldn't you be a Red Coat ???
