True that. I was at least 10 years not paying. But I was also playing $175/month for DTV in one household, would have been another $100 month for our second home, and now I pay $74 a month for both, plus both my kids at their house , plus one other. I will gladly pay the $275 one time to save about $2400 a year. As mentioned above, my kids one in DC, one in Morgantown, both use our account under family accounts. As does our partners in our second house. Because they live outside of Richmond( our home area) once every couple months or so I log in with their credentials and it resets their “ travel “ status. I am sure this will end soon, but I have been saying that for the almost 4 years been using YTTV. be interesting to see how the ticket works in that, good thing is we have the first week to find out without sweating a 1:00 PM kickoff!

as someone else mentioned, been a LONG time since I have done the boat, but it was a fun experience. Having said that, the last time i was there was the Sunday nighter a few years back when the Bills clinched. We did the bars right near there for dinner , ( as it was cold we stashed some beers outside, and then joined @Heitz and his crew in the lot. He may have some better info. we were staying downtown so took uber to bars as did not want to sweat...but walked back after game and like you said 20-25 minutes walk from stadium

Man, i am going back and forth on this game. If just me, or me and some friends I would 100% go. But my wife and daughter want to go....and that gives me pause. I am too old to fight, too young to not fight if the wrong thing is said/thrown/etc to my family.

I just listed my preseasan seats on stubhub and was surprised they did not ask for the barcode on the tickets, as they always have in the past. I think Stub and Ticketmaster now linked for NFL tickets, but gunna find out for sure and will repost here when I get an answer.

I see lots of lesser known bands at least weekly here in RVA, nice to live a 10-15 minute walk to two great live music venues. On the more known side , saw Disco Biscuits few weeks back and Flatland Cavalry on Friday both at the National in RVA. enjoyed both band’s immensely! Although my age showed on the Biscuits. They started at 8:30, took a 30 minute break and we’re still going strong when I tapped out about midnight. Heard they played another 30 minutes or so.

Hung out at Weicheks back then. Tailgated there for the 1pm games , left about 3:30, in our seats 4pm. Think I sat in twenty seats that day! Had views from all over the stadium! Back at the bar prolly at 7:30 even though it was a 4pm game! Loved it!

Damn, I absolutely LOVED everything about that game and always list as a top 5 day Amat the stadium for me. Ricky “ Squeaky” Porter went to college with me at Slippery Rock !

So, on the other end of the spectrum is some really great restaurants! one we are particularly don of is the Cinnamon Club. really redefined Indian fine dining , been open for at least 20 years. Prolly went there first time in 2006, been back maybe 4 or 5 times. Wife was just there In April, still loved it. and don’t say ya don’t like Indian food till you have eaten there.
