  1. and yep...the Piano man got tired of ..... that!!!!
  2. wish they would have shut me out too!!!!!!
  3. I want him NOW! another 3 in 4 and 4 in 6 coming up starting Thursday. This week off the players negotiated makes no sense to me...I get they wanted a week off to vacation time and rest their bodies a bit in the middle of the season, but this 12 in 20 days ( i think that what it is) is just insane. Can't believe a week off after that is more beneficial that spreading those 12 games over 27 days. And crimminy...don't feed me the vacation crap...most players have 3 months off at a minimum to vacation..price of playing a pro sport.
  4. I am not quite following either why a Pats fan is on a Bills message board all day long...
  5. Pats have grown their bandwagon fan base by a ton, both in New England and across the nation. Rightly so based on an unbelievable 17 year run. But mu guess is the majority of folks there in the stands were not from NE per se, but from across the country. Can't wait to see the dropoff in attendance and TV when Tommy goes...can already see on the majority of Pats fan boards"when Tommy goes i am done with the NFL" . Think I heard on the TV there were "hundreds" who met their buses when they arrived home. Hundreds.
  6. always scares me when I see Buffalo at top of TV ratings for every dang sports event ...feeds into the "nothing else/better to do" , especially for events where we ain't got a dog in the fight.
  7. What do we do with Jack and his love for all things Pats,Brady, and Boston???? Maybe therein lies a reason we get smoked by the B's???
  8. So just to bring this back...jsp said Hogan> Watkins...anyone else signing up for that one?
  9. Man, I gots a disease! You would think bad beat after bad beat I would learn...but no, keep coming back for more. Was even tougher hearing my wife as it goes into OT..."well thats okay..will most likely end on a FG anyway and the Falcons getting 3 right" And me having to explain the OT rules now....and the fact I never take points and only play the moneyline.....
  10. Then get the frack of a football message board...i mean really?
  11. QB and system has a little to do with that as well no?
  12. This was not a court of law...it was an NFL investigation. Unless Brady agreed to it, those texts WERE NEVER seen, cloud or no cloud. And yes, all Wells wanted was for someone to look through the phone with Brady present and show texts to/from the two other knuckleheads ...and guess what..they were never seen.
  13. their first 3 years are almost identical...and Sammy has played with EJ and Tyrod..
  14. Listen, Brady is the GOAT, and was before yesterday. To say the Pats don't break rules is just silly. Anyone with an IQ would understand deflategate was not about one game. And there must have been a reason they did it...it wasn't cause it gave them a disadvantage.
  15. I was very angry last night...bet way more than I should have on the Falcons...I am still staggered by the play calling. as someone mentioned, my hate is as much for the fans..I have too many as friends, and they were unbearable last night...and will be till they put me in the grave.
  16. The Brooklyn sour not great..drinkable, but not great.
  17. I know, two posts in a row, but what the hell! Went to Total Wine today..they had the Nectar by the case load there, but i bought a new Sour by Brooklyn...Bel Air , and a new Saison by 21st Century called Sneak Attack! No nectar for me1
  18. JR, are you frying? If so, you are chit out o luck. On the other hand, we use this method all the time. You can do the steaming at home, put the wings on the rack in rimmed baking sheet, then do the baking at hosts home. No smoke with this method..not as good as fried, but pretty damn close and the women will love they are baked and not fried. Dont forget the parchment paper bottom of baking sheet...makes for no smoke and EASY cleanup! http://altonbrown.com/buffalo-wings/ http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/buffalo-wings-recipe/altons-buffalo-wings.html BTW, went to store to get lamb ....and the chuck roast was on sale for $2.99 lb....so its pot roast sliders!!!!! Been in the sous vide since 4.00pm yesterday
  19. Thoughts to you and your family NG.
  20. oh, I've seen the beer snobbery, believe me. Happened to wander into a nice beer bar in Baltimore last summer when there was a home brew convention....fork in both eyes was preferable. I was just not certain how small is small batch. Some the guys down here that I would consider microbrews only pour at their taproom or sell in sixtels to a few local bars. In terms of sours, this is a pretty funny writeup, albeit a few years old. I guess the threat of the bacteria getting loose in other tanks scares small brewers...but his local place Hardywood is dedicating a whole separate room to sours so i am excited about that! http://bit.ly/1p8rkWH I think a great style of sour to start with is a Flanders Red Ale or Flemish sour. Rodenbach is affordable and good. http://firstwefeast.com/drink/2013/01/rodenbach-the-ultimate-gateway-sour-beer Monks Cafe is also very good. I am sure Pooj as been to Monks in Philly http://www.globalbeer.com/belgian-beer/monks-cafe-flemish-sour-ale
  21. Dont know what is small batch...but the local guys here in Richmond all seem to be great guys. Whats cool is most of the folks here have at least one good Saison...And when Hardywood opens their new place n Goochland(pooj knows) they are starting a serious Sour program. And i love me some Sour!
  22. see, thats the key..your age. Anybody over 25 in a flat brim looks like a fool...unless you are a pro athlete,,,even then its a stretch And that's the whole point and always will be...youth wants to wear what old timers think sucks...as soon as old timers like a style, its on to the next for the youngins.
  23. Did not know JohnC wrote for that trash site...as the author is obviously an idiot
  24. I am suggesting the exact opposite of panic...Last thing I want is for the Sabres to get within 4 at the deadline and make some dumb ass trade trying to get there. I want GMTM to be realistic where they are, look at the organizational strengths and weaknesses, and plan for next year. The strength of the organisation is clearly at the forward position, and the weakness is clearly the D. GMTM said as much yesterday. Gionta clearly has some value if he accepts a move...but its limited. You ain't getting a top 4 D prospect for him, or any other rental. You might for Kane, and your hope is a much cheaper winger, where you have organizational strength, can come up and produce if you can move Kane. Signing him after next year I think will be difficult if not impossible with Sammy and Jack due as well...
