I will tell you one other one when the coach was right, I am still impressed with it...and it was Rex of all people! Seattle game end of half after the Sherman/ Carpenter hit..and Carp had to sit for a play. Rex was smart to clock the ball, i had not thought of that. Course it was prolly 9:30 at the time, and I had been pregaming since 4...but I was actually impressed with the Rex in that moment.

I also thought it a block, and cheer for the Warriors. I just hate that it can be reviewed only because of where it took place..and the time left. If i understood what they were saying last night..the review took place only because they wanted to confirm if it was in the restricted area. Once that review happens, they can also review if the defender was in proper position. And that can only happen inside 2 minutes. So if this same played occured two more feet out from restricted area and there was no question where it occured.. block/charge cannot be reviewed...that's just dumb to me.

I feel for JR. I made a similar mistake in my college days that helped lead to a loss and kept us out the NCAA trny that year. Poop happens, just a mistake..ya have to let it go. Now you can not like JR for jacking up 3's etc, but this was just a dumb luck mistake. And @May Day 10, the NHL has been great this playoff year..different for sure, but great. I think this misses the point entirely..forget whether someone was out to get the Bills or not, it comes down to whether the customers wanted to read these guys and were willing to PAY to read these guys. I think the BN said our business is better without these folks, plain and simple. You can cry to the heavens they were good journalists and should not have been let go, but seems the BN made a business decision. In all honesty..did you pay the money for a subscription? I know nothing bout hardwood but two things 1) I always assumed it was a fortune for hardwood as they make such a big deal out of it in home sales. Our current house was hardwood down, carpet up when bought it. Once we decided to do upstairs , I was schooled at how little it cost. I just assumed it was much more than it was based on the marketing. And yes Tom, I was/and still are, an idiot! 2) we put a trex like product down in a covered porch about 12 years ago, after about 6 the thing was useless. Paid up and put Ipe down and that poop is the real deal.Beaides still being perfectly straight and not warped even one little bit, I feel better about it as I have a fireplace out there, and that stuff just ain’t gunna catch on fire!

70's and boxing on Wide World! Man , how I hated Ali back then 80's..the lightweights..my lord those fights were great.. Holmes-Clooney....this is gonna sound weird, but I can still till this day remember watching that fight in the bar of the Howard Johnsons on Pine Ave in the Falls. They must have had it for free or something as I cant ever remember being in there at any other time outside of being a little kid. Of course Tyson..when Douglas beat him was with friends in NYC..it was that much of shock to hear he had lost you remember where you were when you heard about it. Never even though about watching the fight( i think it was on in the middle of the night no?)
