The Most Memorable Season Openers in Bills History
plenzmd1 replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I tihnk a lot of folks became Bills fans in the late 80's..still remember walking out to the MudLot and seeing folks with champagne in 80 I should add ..another memorable opener was the year before, Dolphins again! Seemed like a beautiful day in the lot...went in to stadium in shorts and a cotton tee shirt. Bout halftime some crazy ass storm blew in off the lake, temp dropped to like 63, wind blowing like crazy from a d&C story https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2019/09/02/buffalo-bills-game-day-sep-2-1979-dolphins-9-bills-7-tom-dempsey-miss/2060876001/ ..but the game was 9-7 Dolphins deep into the 4th . Still the coldest I have ever been at a game. But could not leave...and we thought it all worth while as Dempsey lined up for the game winning 34 yarder. And then the Billsiness toook over and he shanked the freaking thing(rain had stopped by then) -

If he gets cut, i'd take em in a heartbeat! If McBeane have built this culture like they say they have, no worries or problems! Bills Way!!!!!! -

The Most Memorable Season Openers in Bills History

for me like anyone over 50 i am guessing..1980 by a mile. The Titans win was also good. one i remember for a different reason. EJ and Marrones first game! Pats at home. EJ was efficient, throws two TDs, we lose on last second field goal by 2. And i can distinctly recall the conversation in the lot after that game that with EJ, Woody, and Marrone...we were a team on the rise and we had our franchise QB!!! -

They are for 2, but if you buy 4 one pair of two is guaranteed together, the pair of two is also guaranteed to be together..but both pairs are not guaranteed to be together. I am sure they will do their damnedest to keep people together, they have more fun that way and more inclined to buy seasons together next year I would say no..and i do believe camper lot is sold out

How in the world did you accomplish that
-
hmm, I can pretty much be your guise there as @Augie and @Seasons1992 can atttest..although there is a secret one !!! baseball teams are all doing this now i think..like $70 a month and you go to any games you want Just took a quick look..one account can have up to 4 of these..looks like all 4 cannnot be guaranteed together, but 2 sets of two will be. Pretty awesome deal!
-
OKay , looks like we have 17 as of now, be great to get to twenty! Everyone should have received a link from CBS Sports. For those interested, the contest is as follows 1) Pick 5 games per week vs the spread..you pick any games on the schedule 2) 1 pt for a win, 1/2 for a push, 0 for a loss 3) Winner has most points end of regular season 4) Last place will be publicly shamed somehow! 5) Small administration fee to cover expenses!

Jared Goff New Contract Largest Guaranteed Ever

but they spend it on football cause "regular" still watch in the millions! -
Not sure where you live, but Publix here rends to carry Picnics, dont see them at all in Kroger.
-
oh man..that recipe is awesome...try it!
-
BTW, love that collection of sites i almost always use butts for pulled pork, but there is one recipe i have used that calls for the "picnic" or shoulder as you say. The big difference on that is because of the much bigger fat cap, at the end of the smoke you remove the cap whole, put it on foil and broil it to get the cracklins, mix that back in with the pulled meat..and oh boy is that awesome! Recipe actually calls for a fresh ham to do that with, but those about impossible to find even here in VA..so I substitute the picnic. Just takes a few hours longer than the ham. https://www.cookscountry.com/recipes/8968-south-carolina-smoked-fresh-ham?extcode=MASKD00L0&ref=new_search_experience_1 I also use the picnic for this Pork Pernil recipe..and this is the bomb! This is awesome for Sunday dinner after a day of watching games, especially in early fall when still warm out. Serve with some black beans and rice and it may be your new favorite way to do pork roast https://www.cookscountry.com/recipes/7453-pork-pernil

Jared Goff New Contract Largest Guaranteed Ever
plenzmd1 replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
good for Goff! Never understand the animosity for players when they get paid. To me, the interesting part of this contract is that it is almost 100% guaranteed, as we saw with Cousins. My hunch is that more and more players are going to stop giving the club options at the end of contracts as has been the case for the last 20 years. Players are going to say you are going to pay me $20M /yr for a 3 year deal, all $60M guaranteed, and unlike before it will not be structured as a 5 year, $100M deal with only $60M guaranteed. and that's what fans in the 70s said, and the 80s, and the 90s etc. Just where do you think TV revenues come from???? -
WTF????? Is this dude really allowed to run the TBD tailgates? Just admit you do unmentionable things to your signed TB12 poster, and bow out gracefully I am guessing the crock pot does not tell you when the stall is occurring
