it's even maybe a hidden reason why i love american sports : I don't understand a lot of the bad jokes and comments the announcers make and if i do not want to listen them i can , you can not when you hear people talking in your mother tongue.

That was a great play but the runner (I don't remember who that was) should have been easily safe at home if he had stayed on the third base bag as he should have. The time lost coming back to tag was all that was missing at the end...

The game ended at about 4AM here! But i'm glad i watched it!! great great game! The Twins catching the Tigers after being 7 games behind at the beginning of the month without Morneau and Slowey ... just amazing! Am I the only one who did not understand why the Tigers went with Rodney for so long while he had almost never pitched for more than an inning all season?

LOL. An american that does not like baseball is like a frenchman that does not like good wine... Baseball was about the only sport i watched during the Olympics and basketball and track are the only olympics sports worth a look now... I know americans don't care at all about baseball in the olympics but for us baseball lovers in Europe it's very important as an olympic sport have much more access to public help, funds, recognition than a non olympic sport. It was tough to convince cities/sponsors/schools/mutlisports clubs to build a baseball field, to help a new club, to make some schools buy baseball gear etc... when the sport was olympic, now that it is not anymore it's almost impossible...

Seen with my deist eyes this debate between atheist and religious people is a total waste of time. Atheism has no sense for me and religions either. How can humans be so arrogant they can think there is no "something" above all this? Probably not as our President Sarkozy has said Rio had our vote! (he's trying to sell Rafale planes to Lula!) and well if we choose someone he's doomed!! Sarko is incredible... while there's a lot of lobbying and politics in those olympics choices, he's the only leader i know that has clearly said "his " vote was going to a particular candidate! i'm sure our IOC representant have loved it! (it's always great to look like a muppet in front of all your colleagues!) And i'm sure Madrid, Spain and the rest of Europe have appreciated the french support to the european candidate!!

Probably one of the main reasons why buffalonians rock ! The access to canadian tv channels and their much more diverse programming than their US counterparts make buffalonians some of the more open minded americans!
