My point is that it is difficult to come back from those kinds of seasons....fans stop attending games, buying merchandise, people stop caring....and it's very depressing and not much hope watching a team lose that much.
in the '70s there were 6 games because players used camp and preseason to get in shape. With all the offseason workouts and OTAs before camp....I don't think there is a need to have any games....they really don't accomplish much....most try to avoid injury...
Just don't want to see 2-14 for the next couple of years...already been through it and it's ugly.....there is no optimism, no excitement...nothing to look forward to
