  1. Very few teams run the ball. In the old days a close game would mean lots of running but those are gone. I'm also hoping "establish the run" goes away too.
  2. but you affect the game by not calling penalties as well...if it was OPI you have to call it
  3. and then watch the Bills game
  4. slugfest, execute...here come the cliches....Ben is still old and slow. Our D shuts them down

  6. you have good WRs and top RB. Well done. QBs should get 6 pts for a TD...you'll do well
  7. on average auction takes longer. You have to set nomination times and bid times to reduce that. Also some teams are finished before others and you have a couple of teams filling out their roster so you can complete in a shorter time than some. Not perfect but you don't watch players you want get drafted and feel helpless
  8. yes, unfortunately we're informal online as we have players on on east coast, west and midwest. You are correct, FAAB is the only way to do waivers,
  9. Correct, our league is a bit better than that. If you nominate the worst player at the start , you're stuck with him. Do you draft 7th string WRs in a snake draft? Why would we bid on them in an auction? 20 seconds to bid so if a team nominates a K it only takes 20 seconds to be awarded. Not really a long time I get that but auction is a lot more fun for us. I had skeptics in my league and now they'll never do a snake again
  10. That's my point regarding snake. Someone is waiting a long time for their 2nd pick. You don't get a top 3 pick in auction. It's a nomination order
  11. why do we care what other people think?
  12. why would you want to pick a player then wait while 20 players get picked and you just sit and watch? Auction is fun ,exciting and stressful. It does take some effort and I know many would just prefer to wait for their pick, but that's boring to me that's the fun part....I guess you prefer to watch 20 players go off the board while you wait your turn? I'm commish of our league and there are no complicated rules
  13. in a snake draft you would never be able to get both Henry and Cook. In an auction you can
  14. let me know if you have any questions. Once you do an auction, you will never go back to snake style draft have to check scoring settings first
  15. 1st mistake is doing a snake draft and not auction draft. Snake limits who you can draft
  16. only 60 yds rushing per game.
  17. Nope, home opener was Dolphins .
  18. that wasn't the opener. That was game 2
  19. Sorry, i posted same . didn't see yours
