  1. He didn't say name THREE. He said name ONE.
  2. Why do people ignore the reality that the countries who are the biggest polluters of the environment happen to be the places where government intrusion into private industry is the highest?
  3. Absolutely not an urban legend, and Daltrey even said "Don't see Mick get special effects like these" (Stones played the stadium the year before) I'd say that Who & Clash shows were the best at Rich. yes, and typical for a Dylan appearance you couldn't understand a word he was singing.
  4. This thread disagrees.
  5. We should be distinguishing between NFL & NFLPA. Looks like a mess up at NFLPA, not the league.
  6. And of course they totally misrepresent the rate. It's not even the 24% rate that they all reported. The effective rate is actually greater than 100%, because the tax rate is calculated on Taxable Income, not on the phantom income number that MSNBC glommed upon. Trump's 2005 taxable income was $31mil and he paid $36 mil in taxes.
  7. I have to agree with meat on this one. Every bad ACA outcome from now on will be blamed on Trump & GOP because they're obviously the impediment to the great law's success. Doesn't make it right, but that's how the spin is now doctored.
  8. GOP will not let ACA collapse because they won't live with the negative repercussions of grandma losing her healthcare. Not that grandma will lose her healthcare, but Dems and allied media are salivating at the prospect of people losing coverage to regain the talking points. There's no way that the story will be spun that Obamacare died its inevitable death. The story will be that Trump & GOP killed it.
  9. I'm sure he would if they weren't tied up in the Russia investigations.
  10. What pisses me off about the tax reporting is they insist on saying that Trump paid a tax rate of 4% but AMT bumped it up to 24% That means that the effective tax rate is 24% not 4%. But no, the reporting isn't slanted.
  11. Wow, WGR finally updated its website to the 20th century
  12. The worst kind of snow. Three hours with snowblower. Can only go 1 foot
  13. Don't understand why people are questioning this. It looks like Bills were spot on Groy's market value and now have an option to match a low starter/high back up contract. With three centers on the roster they have options
  14. There's no shortage of criticism when OBD makes a bad move. The Groy tender doesn't appear to be one, especially since the offer sheet is lower than the tender amount.
  15. Have you considered the other side of the negotiating table that Groy's agent didn't want to accept Bills long term offer until they saw what the market offers? That's why the Bills protected themselves with the tender and guessing that he wouldn't get a blow out offer. They guessed right. The Rams offer isn't a big deal to match, and now Bills have a bigger decision to make about Wood than they do about Groy.
  16. Yup. There's no way Bills are carrying a $7.5 million cap hit on a 30-yr player coming off a big injury. This was the plan all along. Wait until Groy's market value is established, then deal with Wood appropriately. This isn't remotely like the Hogan tender where the Bills' hands were tied.
  17. Dead cap is $3 million less than the carrying value of his contract. I'm guessing that Bills will use the 5 days to either renegotiate Wood's deal, try to trade him to Rams or cut him.
  18. That's been the talking line since Nov 9th.
  19. A Pence takeover of Trump, or a HRC takeover of Pence?
  20. Watch the tape of that game. He more than held his own in passing downs against the very good Jets interior DLs
  21. Don't look at those stats, they don't tell you the story. Just watched All22 of the 1st half. Groy was never physically overmatched by the Jets interior. He did miss a couple of slides to pick up a blitzing LB. But re-watching that game showed that Cujo & few brain cramps by the TEs were a bigger liability. The strip sack on EJ was totally Cujo's fault.
  22. Or, the Bills match the offer and secure a starter for less money than the 2nd round tender. That's a no brainer
  23. #3 - He softened the stance on this a bit to talk about bringing jobs back, because the manufacturing jobs aren't coming back. There's increased talk of companies increasing hiring in US if they see the regulatory noose tighten #4 - Not a direct tariff, but a big plank of the proposed Ryan tax plan is a border adjustment tax, which will tax all imports, not just Mexico & China. #7 - There is a framework for tax reform, but the GOP needs to navigate between companies that are net importers vs net exporters. Reality is that tax reform is unlikely in '17 as of now.
  24. Wall Street or CIA, depending on the temperature outside.
