A comment about Lamar gets a 49er's announcer suspended

I'm guessing this kind of play analysis using vertically challenged players will be verboten too? -
The Deep State War Heats Up
GG replied to Deranged Rhino's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Subject to oversight by the leadership of the majority party in your own branch? I wonder if there were parties in Europe that resorted to these tactics? I think in the 1930's or something like that. I'm not really good at history, but will offer an opinion anyway. -

Politics is what got him suspended. Again, the comment was about the combination of skin, uniform and football colors. He didn't say it was only because Lamar was black. -

He made an observation about the color similarities between the skin tone, uniform and the football. The picture on the previous page kind of supports his point. Are we at a point where it's wrong to say that a player has dark skin? -

There's a reason there are black backgrounds in the centerfield. -

Wegman’s re-launching Flutie Flakes for Ravens game
GG replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's not forget that he had an awful game vs Ravens in '99 and only Banks ineptitude saved the game for the Bills -
Tepper made his fortune as a vulture/distressed investor. It takes a special type of character to do that job. In all my years of working, these guys were the biggest a-holes.

Not CNN, but proving the narrative from AP Headline Police shoot 2nd teen in Wisconsin schools in 2 days Story A Wisconsin high school resource officer shot a 16-year-old student Tuesday AFTER (emphasis mine) the boy stabbed him in his office ... A resource officer at Waukesha South High School, about 80 miles (130 kilometers) south of Oshkosh, confronted an armed student in a classroom. Another police officer shot the 17-year-old student when he refused to drop his weapon, police said. Police in Waukesha said Tuesday that the student had pointed a pellet gun at another student’s head.

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
GG replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So you do admit that you can apply Stoner Bob's "points" to other politicians, because Trump has been accused of treason by his political opponents many more times in the last 3 years. -

Such as what? Publicly calling out his critics? He's been doing that since the early '80s, and he was a media darling at the time? Why wasn't he Hitler when he lambasted every GOP candidate running in '16? -

Fine, the fine mannered Obama never said "Lock her up" I'm sure that excuses his vilification of rural Pennsylvania folk. -

Which Obama's political opponent was subject to several FBI investigations, which were dismissed under cloudy circumstances? -

Hitler was a candidate at one time as well. Tell me counselor, which failed candidate has backed a coup of a duly elected Government? -

Answer what? Cherry picked points that support a preconceived narrative? You can take every one of your "points" and apply them to Hillary and reach the same conclusion that she's Hitler. -

Why are you comparing him to Hitler, as opposed to .... any of the Founding Fathers? -

Every single comparison is wrong on historical grounds. Which doesn't surprise me given your penchant for ignoring facts in favor of a narrative. That's why you can selectively pick any Trump word or action and have it applied equally to Hitler or Mother Teresa. Whichever pole you choose, be prepared to be ridiculed.
