Just more proof that stats don't mean jack when comparing QB's. Bledsoe doesn't hold a candle to Elway for many reasons, two off the top of my head are "The drive" and "the drive 2." When's the last time Drew led a late game comeback in a regular season game, let alone a playoff game?

Umm, compared to what? I'd say of the big 4 sports, the NFL is by far the strictest. Lots of Basketball and Baseball players toke, yet when do you hear about it? Oh that's right, when they're dumb enough to bring it on an airplane. When have you heard of any other leagues suspending people for marijuana "abuse?" I agree with Steve, walk in his shoes before getting on your soapbox.

I don't think it was hard at all. Jerry Sullivan, as pricky as he seems sometimes, calls 'em as he sees them, for the most part. I think he's a pessimist by nature, and that rubs people the wrong way.

I'm neither a Bledsoe basher, nor apologist. I'm a Bills fan. What I'd like to ask of you is this, how does a 3 game stretch makeup for two years of poor play? I think those bashing Bledsoe had a right too, at times. Also, those of you who stuck by his side did. In the end, if he plays like this, WE ALL WIN! No Bledsoe basher wants the Bills to lose, in order to feel vindicated. If they do, are they really Bills fans?

What in the hell are we arguing about? I've never once called for Drew to be benched, I just think he sucks. As far as our best chance at winning, at this point I can't disagree with you, but it would be hard for any QB with a full week of #1 reps to play much worse then Drew. I'll leave it at that. Way to go out on a limb... I believe we disagree heavily on how much of a problem he is. That is what I meant about us not agreeing. He is by far the biggest problem on this team, for the money he earns and position he plays, this can't happen. I'm not asking Drew to be great, just be a bigger part of the solution, then the problem. For 2 1/2 seasons, this hasn't been the case, and Bills fans have had enough. Can you blame them?

Umm, I've never been impressed with your knowledge of the game. This stance you've taken only strengthens my feelings in that area. I don't mean to stick up for a "guest" but people who know little should keep mum. Of course Drew isn't the ONLY problem. Does he make people around him better? Does he come through in the clutch? Is he more a part of the solution, then the problem? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I have a bridge to sell ya.

Why are people even getting their hopes up? I'd love to see Drew demoted, but I don't see it happening for another few weeks. Did MM say anything during his PC that would lead people to believe JP would start?

Big Bens first action was against Baltimore, while trailing by 20. He played about as well as JP... I won't panic unless he looks this bad after a week of taking 1st string reps.
