  1. Thanks for pointing out the obvious... Was joking with him though.
  2. How about you become a Bills fan again?
  3. Being right, in this situation, is priceless to some.
  4. Anyone know what this number represents?
  5. JP gets standing ovation by the crowd after first drive.
  6. Good luck John. I look forward to the day I can help coach my sons. I have a feeling it will be a proud moment for dad.
  7. I'm hungover after one. That's why I "smoke" for recreational purposes instead.
  8. I'm slightly worried about our o-line. Especially since it seemed like they had trouble opening holes for Willis this preseason. I won't panic until I see it week 1.
  9. I don't think Sting when I hear Coldplay. Doesn't mean you can't, I just never thought the two were synonymous.
  10. It was quick, JP looked off the safety, then looked Moulds way and threw. For a deep route, JP got the ball out of his hands pretty quickly. I don't think it should sicken you, yet. It seemed clear to me the Bills wanted JP to throw more, and also concentrate on staying in the pocket. If he has shown one thing this preseason, it's that he's decent at feeling the pressure, and has the ability to elude it. I'm encouraged by his mental and physical toughness, he bounces up quick from big hits, and doesn't shy away from firing a pass into tight coverage, even after throwing an interception. I think as long as the Bills give him the time he needs to develop, it will pay big dividends in the future. I hope I'm right, my teams future depends on it.
  11. The reason the bomb to Moulds looked a little off, was because JP got creamed just as he released it. If any of you Tivo'd the game, go back to that play and watch it. It reminded me of Kelly hanging in there, and taking a big shot just as he throws.
  12. Thank you Todd. Couldn't agree more. Excellent musicians on top of that.
  13. That is what my company provides in the restroom. You should see what the seat covers look like.
  14. 11 of 19 123 yds. 2 Ints. At least 2 drops, and the second INT was far from his fault. After saying that, he also had another INT dropped in the red zone, on the drive Lindell missed the FG. Not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, and not encouraging leading into the opener. He showed some bright spots this preseason, he also had a few WTF!@#$ moments. Basically what I expected from a first year starter, now the key is that he builds on it.
  15. Way to go Drew. I'm happy for him, he did look pretty darn good. Of course, it helps when you are playing against scrubs, and your running back rips off 10 yard runs every other carry. I hope Drew does well in Dallas, I couldn't stand him as our QB, but he's a great guy. In this world, it's hard not to root for the limited number of athletes who have class.
  16. Totally agree, wife and I stayed there after our wedding. Don't have a bad thing to say about the place.
  17. It was refreshing to hear them comments, and after seeing some stats from other QB's, I wasn't so worried. CP/AT YDS TD INT C. Palmer 13/25 136 0 0 K. Boller 5/11 53 1 1 A. Brooks 10/20 139 0 0 Big Ben 6/15 57 0 1 Pennington 5/11 36 0 2 B. Favre 9/21 69 0 2 JP is a little more raw then I prefer, but he isn't going to get any better sitting on the bench. It would also help if Willis ran the ball a little better, but god forbid anyone says anything bad about him. No matter what, if Willis is as ineffective during the regular season, as he has been this preseason, this offense is in trouble. It don't matter who the QB is.
  18. Nice, hate on JP because people like him. I know you're a big Bledsoe guy, but your excuses are too much. JP is essentially a rookie, just because the anti-Drew crowd made these predictions, you are going to hold JP to them, or hate him forever? Give me a break, bud.
  19. Great article by Mr. Sullivan. He hit the nail on the head, in my opinion.
  20. They have an elite defense, like the Steelers and Pats. That's the only way I can see him making the point. The Jets D is good, but great it isn't. On top of that, how can anyone argue that the man has choked, or played bad in 90% of his teams big games. This article pretty much sums up Drew's career. Here are his post-season stats, not exactly lighting it up: year tm score att cmp yds td int att yds tds 1994 cle L,13-20 | 21 50 235 1 3 | 2 2 0 1996 pit W,28-3 | 14 24 164 1 2 | 1 -1 0 1996 jax W,20-6 | 20 33 178 0 1 | 1 4 0 1996 gnb L,21-35 | 25 48 253 2 4 | 1 1 0 1997 mia W,17-3 | 16 32 139 1 0 | 2 4 0 1997 pit L,6-7 | 23 44 264 0 2 | 2 -4 0 2001 pit W,24-17 | 10 21 102 1 0 | 4 1 0
  21. I'm no bledsoe fan, but I think he came back and played pretty decent after the poor start. I still think he has a little left in the tank (had a nice 9 yard scramble on third down), and wouldn't be surprised if he plays much better then he had in his past 2 seasons here. As far as Drew Henson, yuck, I think Tony Romo will be the #2 QB some time this season.
