Thank goodness it's not Nick Saban of the Miami Dolphins, that would be bad news.

I love this show. It is a pure addrenalin (sp?) rush every week. The show sucks you right in from the beginning and never fails to surprise. I never liked Kiefer that much in movies but he is perfect for this show.

The only message being sent is that Ralph didn't want to pay the final 3 years of his contract so he made him so uncomfortable that he would quit. Doesn't look good but it also doesn't surprise me at all.

Wow, well said Mike. I liked Peerless Price's remarks to the Atlanta media better when he left town. "Fu*k you. I hate you all!" Or something similarily eloquent.

Fearlessly Off-Base Coaching Prediction
buffaloboyinATL replied to Arkady Renko's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is there any history there with Levy or Wilson? By the way BuffaloinAtlanta, nice name, sounds vaguely familiar. -
He's outspoken, has a great track record as a head coach and would add the much needed youth factor to our management team.

According to D&C, MM quit because of the
buffaloboyinATL replied to nick in* england's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amen on April. I am worried that all of this turmoil will scare him off and that would be a shame. I believe that he is a big factor in our marked improvement on ST's the past couple of years. McGee is a special talent but it takes all 11 guys knowing their assignments and giving it all to get the kind of field position we enjoyed this year. Now we just need to get everything else working so that we can take advantage of this assett. -
now that's scary.
-
Mort might quit? Seriously, I am guessing that Mularkey realized that he has no control and is basically on a short leash. He is either trying to angle for a better position/more power or he truly does want out.

Seems like a good kid. Well spoken.

Just saw on ESPN that he is staying for his senior year. I'm actually surprised. link : http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/foo...htm?POE=SPOISVA -
I have heard that one of the reasons is because it is likely that the new CBA that will go into effect in 2007, is likely to have a rookie cap included. Does anyone know if this is true? Does anyone else agree that there seems to be more talented underclassmen coming out this year?

I think we should get Jim Plunkett for QB
buffaloboyinATL replied to ASCI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're supposed to start with "hear me out" and then try to justify your reasoning... You gotta play the game right. -
You mean we won't really hear "Schufflof to Buffalo" on draft day?
-
Since we are banning QB's by name, I say we add Billy Joe to the list. No good comes from a QB named Billy Joe.

Blackledge? Is this a trick question?

I'd be surprised if Scott or Wright were available in round 2. If they were, I'd say take them in a heart beat. BTW Ngata won't be there at 17 either IMO. -

buffaloboyinATL replied to billsboys's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is just way too much talent available in the first round for us to trade up and sacrifice what could also be a productive number 2 pick. If anything, I think we could trade down a bit, still get a very productive lineman, such as Eric Winston OT from Miami, and then get an extra second or third rounder as well. This is a very deep draft for some reason, so I believe more picks is better than higher up picks. -
Damn, I was googling like mad and I counldn't find it. Good job.

Why is Halotti Ngata not on Mel Kiper's
buffaloboyinATL replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup, 5th pick of the 3rd round. (69th overall) Our pick would have been 15th (79th) but we traded it to Green Bay. 3 TE's were chosen before him, Dallas Clark, Bennie Joppru (I don't even know who that is) and LJ Smith. -
Wow. Flashback. I remember the song but I don't remember any more of the lyrics. Time to go searching...
