he is good at covering LB's and RB's out of the backfield. he is not a pass rusher> Something that has burned us the last few years. Cincy has major LB depth, so his playing time was reduced and he became expendable

One Year Ago- A Trip Down Memory Lane
Snorom replied to Jamie Nails's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah there will be no top FA's coming here this year. We need value additions. We need to find 6 good FA's that can start/improve the roster and it s depth in key areas. LB WR TE CB DL OL. We more then likely will not be able to do all that with the amount of salary cap space we have -
Spiller a candidate for Madden 2013 cover
Snorom replied to Rockinon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
last thing we need is the Madden curse -
actually craptastic football in the 2nd half of the season is what causes non-sellouts. Weather is not an issue for the team when they are winning I would be happy with either. I prefer Geno, he has a higher ceiling.
-
WSU had a craptastic team a coaching change etc during Tuel's time there His size and athleticism is there. He would be a UDFA if we do bring him in so people need to stop over reacting
-
I expect more value additions then big name splashes We have multiple needs can't go after the big names and fill the holes at LB and WR
-
I'm positive this was a pat on the back gift to Boldin. Ravens new they aren't going to keep him so they traded him to a team he was oK with
-
Over reaction crowd.. C'mon everyone knows that his contract is $20 million but how much in guaranteed money how much in bonuses and incentives. His cap number will be much less then $5 million McKelvin did well in nickel coverage last year. His weakness was the outside, and his consistency in returns is solid

Ranking Bills Last 3 Starting QBs
Snorom replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitzpatrick is by far the better of the 3. Not even debatable. That's how bad Losman and Edwards were Fitz put up more TD's more yards better completion % Just look for yourself. Edwards best year was 11 TD's, 10INT's 2700 yds Losman did better the Edwards, but Losmans best year was 3000 yds 19 TD's 14 INT's Fitz makes mistakes, but he is 1000 x's better then Edwards and Losman were in the redzone Fitz had 3 consecutive 3000 yds seaosns, threw for over 20 TD's 3 years in a row. He has the tendenancy to make an ill times INT, but Losman and Edwards were sack machines. Yes we need to upgrade our QB position, but Fitz by far was better the Edwards and Losman. Not even a close debate -
Sports Economist Rodney Fort on Panthers Finances

actually teams must spend to within something like 90% of the cap starting this year I do believe -
Glennon is a HUGE project, and will need years Buffalo does not have time for such a huge project

Screw other FA's, we should target Chris Gamble
Snorom replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd "Gamble" on that -
What qualities do you want in our next QB
Snorom replied to Chris in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
a QB who can throw for more then 3000 yds in a season. Who throws more then 20 TD's in a season and more TD's then INT's. Who can show to be capable of a 60% season completion rate. Must be at least 6' 2" tall Who is durable enough to play all 16 games -
Are we targeting any big free agents?
Snorom replied to BillsFanFromCincy2012's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we will let the market settle. There is not enough FA money out there for most teams to make many big signings so there will be some great value pickups to be had by the teams that are patient -
NFL team in LA pretty much dead....
Snorom replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not investing into the city decrepit infrastructure will prove to be more insane. The waterfront idea was exciting and would deal with the Southern portion of Buffalo's waterfront in a very positive way. Cleveland did something similar and it benefited Cleveland tremendously, both from a national perspective, and from an encouraging future investment perspective The city of Buffalo needs an investment of this magnitude and you can bet the farm a new owner is going to want a new stadium, ya can not keep slapping on coats of paint on the old Ralph... -
I hope we can resign him. but at a fair price Oh wait McKelvin's a black man.. let him walk. Thank god he is the only black man on the Bills roster. What you say there are more ? Oh the horror....

QBs and the passes they throw (draft)
Snorom replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thanks for the data hook up. -
Not really.. Geno had a horrible D to depend on at WVU, and he was forced into gunslinger mode just to keep WVU in games even during those last 8 games he had a high completion % and didn't' turn the ball over. I agree that his play durng that stretch has kept him from #1 overall, but look at QB's who have been drafred around the #8 position. Geno compares favorably over the Locker;'s Ponders and Tannenhills. WVU was ranked 108 in total defense, behind teams like the UB http://www.ncaa.com/...nt/team/1042/p3 Even so their passing attack and point scored was 10th overall in spite of such a horrible D Also Geno did well in the Bowl game. better then Nassib did, but the fact is WVU defense couldn't get off the field losing by 13 minutes in time of possession http://espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=323640183

Ryan Nassib - QB - Syracuse
Snorom replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is going to be a huge run on QB's before the Bills make their 2nd rd pick. Most QB;'s are not worthy of the a top 10 pick, but Philly, Jacksonville, Arizona, Cleveland all could be interested in QB's and all will have their picks before Buffalo in rd #2. IMO the only way the Bills could land Nassib is to trade in front of those teams and back into the late 1st rd That being said either Geno Smith and/or Barkley will be there for us at #8
