  1. I was born a Bills fan. The day the doctor pulled me out and slapped my bottom I screamed "Go Bills" 1968.... I've been surrounded by Bills football and Sabres hockey since day 1
  2. Fitz had his issues, but he was better then lots of haters made him out to be. He was never going to be All-Pro or a HOF'er but he was capable of playing in the right situation Where Fitz got screwed was our Defenses inability to do anything against good teams, and our HC unable to stick with the run game. mostly Defense issues though If the Bills had a top 10 defense we would of seen playoffs with Fitz.
  3. you mean witch hunts like we are seeing in politics almost daily. Witch hunts by the media ??? mass warfare, have you not been reading the news ? Have you not see n our annual budget for military ? have you not witnessed the lives lost in the middle east, the senseless murders everyday ? our technology has evolved, but humanity has not
  4. what ? why would anyone be a sucker for enjoying the local team ?
  5. why the hell not. We have a stable of young OL on the roster that we brought in to groom and get ready to play. there is a reason the Bills have been stock piling young OL and getting them ready
  6. The Bills wil easily pay Byrd a 5 year 50 mil deal, with 25 guarenteed the issue is does Parker and Byrd want more, and if they do.. then trade him. Got no choice. You have to cut off at some point, and that deal would make him a top paid S. if he has to be the top paid then &*&%$ him, the FACT is the Bills put a $9 mil a year deal on the table and Peters stil walked away. The fact is the Bills gave Peters an extension once before and he accpeted that. I look back on the Petes deal and I fully support the Bills FO on that deal. Screw Parker and Screw Peters If Byrd does the same thng then I will support the FO over Byrd. Eugene Parker is the problem... and there is plenty of history to back that up. Byrd needs ot decide what he wants. A very solid contract that will set him up for life and he can be apart of a Bills team or he can be traded. I never support players who have to have a few million here or there when were already talking $20/$30 milion guarenteed... You either WANT ot be here or you do not, and if you have to be over paid to saty then leave.
  7. $5 mil - $ 6 mil for rookeis Byrd Contract $7 mil - $8 mil We will sign a few FA's before the FA period is up extend Woods
  8. Matt Scott is what he is.. A 2nd or 3rd day player who will need lots of development time and probably will be a solid backup most of is career but if you think the Bills can hitch their future on such a guy then you represents the exact same mentality we've had for a few decades. I would love to draft Scott but only as a plan B guy
  9. If were going to be a regional team then Niagara falls would be a good place I picture a horseshoe retractable roof type stadium with one endzone full glassed in facing the Falls. Could you imagine the top notch view you would have and the awe of TV audiences who see it. We could even think eventual Superbowl here. I was also enamored with the plan to extend the city of Buffalo and put a stadium at the harbor> that was an idea that could catapult a resurgence of Buffalo IMO we're on the same page
  10. decent depth, and stop gap for a WR we will draft but will probably need 1-2 or so years to get up to full speed
  11. If we don't have a shot at Geno or possibly Barkley I agree move back a few slots and grab an extra pick or 2
  12. $700 million, $300 million in guaranteed money distributed to the top 25 players in FA this year, whom between them have a total of 6 probowls. Sounds to me free agency is the new 1st round rookie contract debacle wrapped up in a new bow 2nd tier and 3rd tier FA prices are coming down fast
  13. It's funny but it is so sad how idiotic this group of Bills fans are.
  14. no more trades for backup QB's . are we supposed to give all out 3rd day picks to Seattle for all their QB's that they would of released anyway
  15. there trying to get all the overly whiny to blow a gasket and have an aneurism> I sincerely hope that happens
  16. the cap hit for trading SJ would kill us. We'd take a $11.3 million hit http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap-hit/
  17. we have a stable of young OL. I believe we have a couple of players who will continue to develop and will step up
  18. kind of explains the bad back though, that's a lot of force on those lower back discs Hope he is ready to make an impact... would be a pleasant surprise if he comes through
  19. Geno Smith situational analytics say he does well at all facets of the game. he starts fast and ends strong in games .Plays well when ahead or behind is efficient in 3rd and long and is dynamite in the red zone. http://www.cfbstats....ituational.html Combine shows he more athletic then seen, and WVU did not run options and did not want their QB to run. WVU had the one of the worst Defenses in college. Hell UB ranked higher
  20. he's 32 years old, and with a new Coach and a new system he would probably be out of the league in 3 years. He has no chance of sticking and growing with the team
  21. I don't believe they will. They still have Palmer, and Pryor who they used a supplemental pick to grab. AND they have huge holes that need to be filled with BPA's who will be there for them them wanting Geno is a smoke screen IMO
  22. How many top FA LT have they signed in FA they cannot pass on a OT at #7
  23. 77 Glenn, Cordy OT 6-5 343 23 R Georgia 66 Welch, Thomas OT 6-6 300 25 1 Vanderbilt 75 Hairston, Chris LT 6-6 330 23 2 Clemson 64 Eckerson, Hutch OL 6-6 310 25 1 South Carolina 62 Grant, Adam OL 6-6 320 26 1 Arizona 72 Sanders, Zebrie OL 6-6 318 23 R Florida State 73 Scott, Chris OL 6-4 320 25 2 Tennessee 61 Snow, David OL 6-4 305 23 R Texas 74 Brown, Colin C 6-7 326 27 2 Missouri 70 Wood, Eric C 6-4 310 26 4 Louisville 75 Hairston, Chris LT 6-6 330 23 2 Clemson Why are you panicking about Asper ??? Levitre is a loss, but an $8 million loss. Bills were not going to invest $8 million into a G, and it was Levitre who wanted to test FA, can't blame him for that. http://www.cbssports...4186/mark-asper Asper only played in 1 game for Jacksonville and that was week 17. You are over reacting. We have a stable of young developing OL, and we wil bring in more before FA is over with
  24. at best he and Cassel represents a cheap stop gap 2nd string backup option for us... fact is we have to add 2 QB's . We'll draft one, but Travaris Jackson and Corp are not enough for a decent camp competition, and I fail to see who is better out there in FA
  25. Jim Overdorf handles the money portion of contracts, hate on Overdorf Fitz was paid middle of the road starting money and had much better contract #'s and similar or better stats then about 8 other QB's that are being paid more. Now that 1st rd draftpicks are cheaper then in the past there is a new era of QB's coming in whom aren't being overpaid. Sam Bradford was the last of the mohicans, and his numbers have been horrible but he was given a $50 mil contract as a 1st rd rookie Fitz didn't work out, but how much of that was Gailey insisting he could win with Fitz
