Starting Mathews does nothing for us though. If they were going to try to see if he could win games for us, they needed to do it sooner. The only reason to bench Drew would be to start Losman and give him experience.

The whole team played like crap tonight. You can't single out one player. Milloy was in on 15 tackles. Not a bad game, although the safety shoudn't be responsible for stopping the RB on half the damn carries.

We have the rams at home next week, after that there are two away games. It would be the smart move to give JP is first significant playing time at home against a less than stellar team. Yes, but the Pats are a much better team than KC. It's not like KC can win at home no matter who they play. If Holmes is still out, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Not to say they couldn't use better coaching/talent etc.. But yes, IMO the homefield advantage is that good.

Arrowhead is the greatest home field advantage in the NFL. I went to a game there once and was amazed! The pure volume of the fans is awsome. They also never shut up. 1st down, 4th down, between downs, timeouts...doesn't matter. I wish the Ralph was like that.

Yep, it's almost impossible. But not totally impossible. I just wish everyone would stop saying "this team HAD to lose today for us to have a chance." The only team that HAS to do anything today is the Bills. They HAVE to win. There are 7 games left after this week. Anything can happen. Why did the Ravens HAVE to lose today? They could lose their next 6 games. Same with Jax. Who the hell knows.
